Willa was excited, Wesker had been busy and she had managed to sneak out and be alone. It was kind of chilly, the autumn air was a bit nippy so she stuffed her hands in her pockets hoping that keeping her arms closer to body would keep more heat in. She was too prone to being sick to really be out in the cold. She smirked when she got into the cafe, she heard that some new guy was playing and she wanted to see for herself. She had heard he was good but her interest was in him being a half spider person who whatever he was she was going to find.

She had worn a form-fitting cream colored top and a pair of black skinny jeans. Her boots a gentle brownish color. She tried to make her appearance a lot warmer than it normally was. It was in her experienced that the warmer and more delicate she looked the easier it was for them talk to her. She got their just as he was supposed to go one so she snagged a table with only two stools and put her bag on the empty one. She didn't want anyone sitting next to her before she could invite the man over a drink of tea.

As he started his set, she could feel the subtle hints that he was of spider type, it was just something she could sense. So she started to send out a relaxing, sort of...call? something she would normally use to call spiders to her but directed specifically towards the guy and not the spiders roaming the shop. His songs were good, a bit sad but she had came with a mission.

For a musician who used no instruments and sang alone, Shikkanuka still took a while to get set up. Arranging his lower body and covering it appropriately was a bit of an art, and no matter how much he was assured it wouldn't be a problem he was still concerned. He didn't want to frighten or bother anyone, and a lot of people did have spider fears. He didn't want to be in anyone's nightmares.

The clock ticked towards his assigned start time, and his phone quietly buzzed beneath the dark blue blanket tucked across his lap. Cradling the microphone in his hands, he slowly drew breath, eight eyes closed though the lights weren't particularly strong.

"Things were all good yesterday,
and then the devil took your memory,
and if you fell to your death today,
I hope that Heaven is your resting place.
I heard the doctors put your chest in pain,
but then that could have been the medicine.
And now you're lying in the bed again
either way I'll cry with the rest of them."

He stayed curled around the microphone as he sang, voice rising and falling softly, sweet and gentle and sorrowful. For someone who was too afraid to have broken his heart, he could certainly sing about it.

As he sang, he grew gradually distracted, finding himself almost... singing for someone. Singing for someone who listened right now, who was right in front of him. Someone he didn't know, but....

"Darling hold me in your arms,
the way you did last night,
and we'll lie inside, a little while here oh.
I could look into your eyes
until the sun comes up,
and we're wrapped in light, and life, and love."

His vividly coloured eyes opened a little wider, and he looked at the girl in confusion. What was this?

Willa swayed along with music drinking her Chamomile tea, she was slowly falling in love with the sound of his voice. It was like it was specifically made for sad songs, which was the only type of music she listened to. Being bedridden most of the time had given her a morbid and dark taste for life. As much as she wanted to live life to the fullest she had things getting in her way and it made her sad. She wanted to think more positive but she didn't see that happening any time soon. To be honest, she knew that she would get more out of life if her few on things were bad, that way she didn't take the good things for granted.

When she realized he was looking at her, she gave him a warm smile. She was going lure him in as best she could. She could already tell that she was going to have pretend to be nice, well it wasn't an act. She could be nice but only for certain people. It wasn't that she wanted to hurt him, she was generally interested but she knew how it was going to turn out. He was going to get hurt, and she was going to have to pretend not to are.

She waved at him just a bit, enough to get his attention but not enough to draw attention to herself from other people. That wouldn't be good. no she didn't want to seem like a crazed fan or anything.

Shikkanuka didn't know why his attention kept creeping back to the girl, and the mysterious draw worried him on an entirely different level than his usual nervousness.

He kept the stress from his voice through the end of his cover of 'Afire Love,' but it crept out in a particular ache as he moved on to the next song. He'd had the order pre-planned, had had the owner's approval of the set and the mood. Somehow, though, it was just a little too terrifyingly appropriate.

He liked the sound of this song, but he wasn't sure he could ever sing it again after tonight.

"By the time I was your age, I'd give anything
to fall in love truly was all I could think."

He shivered as he sang, and tried to look anywhere else.

"I can't help but notice you staring at me,
and I know I shouldn't say this, but I really believe
I can tell by your eyes that you're in love with me."

She could tell that he was feeling the pool. Perhaps the spider part if him was string enough to feel the pull. That being said she slowly decreased the power of the call she was sending him. She had gotten his attention, she could tell. Though when she heard the song, she was so lost in she unintentionally started to push the call again, a bit stronger than before. This time it was a call of understanding like a warm hug saying i understand, come closer. "Terrible things" was her favorite song, for obvious reasons. It described what happened to her mothrr and what probably most likely happen to her.

She hoped and prayed that theyd eventually be able to cure her disease but she knew it was pointless. A bit of her sadness crept into the link as she mouthed the words along with his singing. She wasn't even aware of her eyes closing as the song ended she was surprised they opened. She slowly ended the call, perhaps that was the best way to make sure her power didn't go out of control.

She locked eyes with him again and smiled warmly. Her eyes guestured to the seat across from her, for when he was done with her set. She hoped he would sit there. She was kind of fascinated by him, he didn't need know that the fascination wouldn't last.

He thought he'd shaken it off. It had faded, leaving only lingering confusion and stress, but it returned as he sang. Not only did it return, but it was even stronger.

The shift in the pull's mood wasn't lost on him at first, but he was so uncomfortable by the end of the song that he honestly forgot about the difference.

Overall, Shikkanuka was easily stressed. He was fragile and wound tightly, and he kind of took minor worries and turned them into enormous calamities before dropping them on his head.

He was also professional enough to finish 'Terrible Things,' take a few long sips of water, and signal that he was going to take a few minutes' break so he didn't explode. He could either get up, ruining the blanket job and showing off his lower body for everyone to see, or he could try to brave through the whatever and probably end up running out of the café screaming.

No one needed to see a screaming spider.

He also wasn't going to just march up to the girl and ask what was going on. That would take infinitely more guts than Shikkanuka had. No, instead he crept off to the bathroom, looking awkward and embarrassed and meek, and threw cold water into his face until he couldn't see.

Then he came out, face and hair freshly dried, and approached the girl, even if he had no idea what to say. He just hesitated in front of her, body held low automatically to try to minimize the enormous, vivid orange spiderness that was his lower half.

Willa watched him leave the stage, she was positive that he would stop by her table. When she called men they came, it was a simple has that. She could attract them even without them being half spider, but she was wondering how much her power actually worked. Was she able to tap into the smallest of spider genes that people may have.

She saw dipped into the bathroom and watched his bottom half. She was by no mean into spiders but she did have a certain fascination of them. Was her fascination with spiders fueling her attractions to the man, possibly. Still she wanted to talk to him and maybe do some test. If she had to kiss him here and there she was okay with that. She never claimed not to be cold hearted, but when he sat down besides Her she played up the sweet innocent thing as much as she could.

"Hello" she said offering him a bright smile.

She looked at him and she didn't back off. Other people in the café looked away, but she kept watching him.

Shikkanuka twisted and coiled inside, nervous and uncomfortable well beyond his usual nerves. There were entirely different dimensions to this. He didn't like this he wanted it gone.

She just smiled at him and said 'hello.' No explanation for what was happening, no complaint about the interrupted music, no confusion over his approach.

"H-h-h-h-h-hi," he stammered, all the fluidity and confidence gone from his voice and expression now that he wasn't singing. Now he was talking to someone, and he felt weirder than usual about it and he didn't know what was going on.

He swallowed, hard, fighting against a lump that felt larger than his throat. "A-a-a-are y-y-y-you d-d-d-doing s-s-s-someth-th-thing? Wh-when I was s-s-s-sing-ging, I-"

His voice failed and he ducked behind his bangs, bringing his shoulders forward and actually putting a hand in his face because !?!?!!!!!
