Appearance Description:
Dustin has the type of blue eyes that unreadable. It's not that he tries for this to happen, they just don't convey his feelings. His lips are almost always turned up in a smirk though he does smile for certain people mostly his mother. He's always dressed in clean clothes that match and are ironed. Though sometimes they get messy from his many adventures. He stands sort of tall for his age at 4'6, and while he's a bit lanky he does seem to have sort of an athletic build where kids bodies are concerned.
His hair is black medium length and always messy, as much as he tries to keep it neat it always manages to get messy.
Personality Description:
Dustin is strangely confident for a kid his age, he walks straight and tall and never seems to shy away from anything. He could be considered smug, if it wasn't for the fact that he knows he has a lot to learn. He's very respectful, says yes ma'am no ma'am, and always looks both ways before he crosses the street. However Dustin is also a very mischievous child, he enjoy doing cheap parlor trick he read about in magician books. He's very good at slight of hand and close up magic even without his good at it. He's a very dedicated young man, he studies and reads and always asks his mom about words he doesn't understand. He's very intelligent, reading at a fifth grade level and able to understand complex problems and situations.
Dustin is also very adventurous, sometimes he gets in way over his head but he does his best to stick it through. Dustin is a tactile learner he learns more from trial and error than anything. He takes more in when he can do it for himself. It makes the teacher question his attention paying skills, however even when he isn't paying attention he's paying attention. He has a knack for seeing and hearing things he shouldn't, and making connections that most kids his age wouldn't be able to make
Powers:
Enhanced Charisma (passive) - Dustin has the ability to charm people, getting them on his side or to believe his lie. It helps to gain the trust and loyalty of others and win them over.. It's not persuasion he's just very good with words and gives off this aura trust that people seem to fall for easy. It doesn't work on people who can withstand mind magic or attacks. Because this is a passive trait he has no control over it, it's always on.
Dustin is still at the age where his powers are developing. Majority of his spells have to do with illusions so as he grows older he will find that he excels at Illusion magic. His skills will be with glamours, hallucinations, creating decoys of himself, Parlor tricks, and a mirror effect. Eventually he will be at the stage where he can access and perform all of these at the moment he can only do parlor tricks and make one decoy. Having Octavius blood running through his veins and magic he's able to do a bit more than kids his age but a lot of it is raw potential he only knows how to focus in one area of his powers. Dustin's Magic works differently from his mother's and Uncle's. His magic is 100% intent and focus. While there are different types of spells he's casting there are no words, and they have to be casted on something. He simply pushes his magic towards the object or outcome he wants and it works like that. Using words actually hinders his magical ability and causes his powers to go wonky.
Parlor tricks (active)
Much like a stage Magician Dustin is able to do everything a stage magician does. He can pull a rabbit out of a hat, do card tricks, make flowers appears from his sleeves and saw people in half without sawing them in half. The only difference is that his powers aren't slight of hand, it's his magic actually making the tricks work. So when he says he can pick your ard without looking, he won't look but his magic will pull up the right card for him.
Decoy (slightly active mostly dormant)
Even though at the moment it's only one. Dustin as the potential to be able to create at least ten decoys of himself. These decoys can be used to trick someone into following them, clean his room, or basically do things he doesn't want to do. The problem is with this, the decoys are are a part of him and make him 5% percent weaker than the normal is. All his decoys are able to do parlor tricks and that's why he's 5% weaker for each one he makes. They can talk and walk about though, he can only keep them live for two hours right now at his current level his decoy stays live for 30 minites. Even though they are illusions he can pick stuff up and learn things, sort of like Dustin being in two places at once.
Glamours (dormant)-
Dustin will be able to change the appearance of himself and others by creating a thin illusion that wraps around the body. Hiding the real features and covering them up with false features. He can change eye color, hair color, distinctive features such as birth marks, and give certain features, like wings and stuff though they can't be uses as they are just illusion.
Hallucination (dormant)-
This is a spell that causes the victim to see a vision of the caster's choice. It can be anywhere from someone following them, to animals following them to dancing purple elephants. He's only able to make this last for a week before having to recast it.
Path of Mirrors (dormant) -
This is an illusion that works when there is someone following you. It shows the person three paths that look the same and you going down them, only one is real and the others can just be a wall or a different turn. It Even works if there is only one hallway, the victim will just bump into a wall. The only problem is that there is a possibility that the Victim guesses right and then well...you'd have to recast the illusion.

Dustin's doesn't know who his dad is
During the Travels he was giving an amulet and never really let go of it. The entire amulet is an Illusion, it looks like the sun but if you turn it it's actually a moon and it goes through the phases of the moon. He begged his mom to let him keep it.
He learned slight of hand, and how to pickpocket by watching people and reading books about Magic tricks and sleight of hand. Also picked up a few tricks to escape trouble from watching street kids.
He moved to the island with his mother and is excited to stay on the island permanently.
