Plot some Angst with me?

I have writers block. Bad.

Right before I left, I drafted up Cabel Sokot, my drug-dealing alchemist.

When I left, I totally forgot everything about this character, including any intense plots I originally had planned. So I need help coming up with a new one.

My idea for getting Cabel to SA was that he arrived after a series of violent overdoses from a drug he made. Cabel is convinced his product was tampered with, because he can't handle the responsibility of killing five people. Adding to the irony is that, though Cabel makes drugs, he doesn't do them.

Cabel is good at getting things people needs. He just expects ample payment.

Help me plot something angsty. Romance, doomed friendship, I don't care.

I included this stuff as a potential intro for how the characters would meet because I suck at that.

Uh, I don't know if you want teachers in on this but I have two that might work. One more than the other, probably.

There's Solaris, the English teacher who's kind of an alchemist in the sense that he's capable of transmuting things. But doesn't want to and doesn't really have much motivation to try. Just thought I'd throw him in because the powers are somewhat similar. He could also be easily bullied into doing things for Cabel because Solaris is kind of afraid of everything.

And then there's Paschalis, a powers teacher who is actually a certified surgeon but refuses to actually practice medicine on the island because he thinks it's kind of a waste of time with all of these healers around already. Paschalis, I think, would probably have an issue with a drug dealer being around.

I also have this new civilian/villain character who's essentially a necromancer. With plants. And can make mind control serums. Gloria is also kind of yandere for the world.

Ummmm of course any of my characters are available, seriously I need to post with all of my characters.... But let me see....
Gamila could work as she is Gloria's sister and would most likely help her if she needed it.

Emy I like the idea of Caleb trying to exploit Solaris at one point, but I think he'd be more likely to seek out someone closer to his own age this earlier on so probably Gloria.

and I agree that Gamila would work, too.

what would be the best way to get them together? Cabel would want to persuade them into helping him, but he's reluctant to ask for help first. How would they all run into each other?

Hm, well. What does Caleb normally do? Daily habits and so on?

I think I have it in my mind that Cabel works in a convenience store and he spends a lot of time collecting things from stores, gardens, etc.

He would also spend a lot of time in the underground peddling things. I think there's a slight age difference so I'm not sure if they'd have classes together, so that's a possibility, too?

I don't think the twins are in school, actually. Gloria certainly isn't, although she does works at a daycare.

If he collects stuff from gardens, though, maybe he'd meet them in the park or something. Gloria really likes (dead) plants after all. And I have it in mind that she might be dragging her sister out for random picnics just because.

Yeah same with Gamila she doesn't go to the school, so I think that someone near plants would work nicely. :o
