"Come on!" She yelled as she ran through the forest. "You're faster than that!" She giggled as she slowly slowed her speed down. 'You really do hate me, don't you?' Ferrir said to her in her head, as she panted. "No... I just thought that well, you needed the exercise, yes? I mean we didn't even run that far and you're panting." As she heard the wolf shrug and lay down on the grass, Orlena smiled brightly. "Okay I admit, that was a bit tiring." Moving over to lean on a nearby tree, a sigh of relief came from her, as she relaxed. "Yeah, let's just take a break." She said as she slowly started to close her eyes. 'Don't tell me that you are tired. You better not be. You aren't allowed after all the complaining that you did about me.' Still choosing to close her eyes, Orlena stood there for a few seconds, before opening her eyes and pushing herself off the tree. Walking over to the wolf, she put a hand on her head, ruffling her hair. "There happy?" She said as she turned around and started to walk again. 'Do you want only one hand, girl?' Ferrir told her, to which made Orlena laugh uselessly. "You wouldn't dare. You love me and you know it."

Coatzin looked at the forest under her as her strong wings carried her through the air, taking advantage of any air currents to make things easier for her, no matter how big or small, as her tail allowed her to keep a flawless balance and stability. She liked this part of the island pretty much, she always had liked places like this, so full of life and calm, almost completely untouched by the hand of human kin.

A voice not far from where she was flying soon caught her attention, apparently she wasn’t alone around here like she originally thought. She tilted her tail a bit, just enough to change her direction of flight to find the source of the voice, for the tone the one talking was probably friendly and she wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to make a new friend. Being as careful as possible, she landed on the upper branches after making sure that they could hold her weight before starting to carefully climb down the tree, using her long snake tail as a safe rope by wrapping it around the branches or the tree trunk.

It didn’t took her long to reach the lower branches and spot the girl and the wolf that walked with her. She chuckled as the girl argued with the wolf, apparently unaware of her presence. She knew that they were talking to each other, even if she couldn’t hear the wolf. At the beginning she thought about talking to them and reveal her presence to them, but she soon went for another option, just to see what could happen. When they walked under the branch where she was standing she lowered her tail and playfully covered the girl’s face with the tuft of feathers at its tip once she made sure that they were distracted for a second or two before pulling it away, laughing.

Looking behind her to make sure that the wolf was still behind her, and not on the grind dying from movement, she was happy to see that Ferrir was indeed moving along with her, only a few paces behind her. Smiling, she turned her attention back to the way she was walking, picking up her pace slightly as she could now see where she was going clearly. 'Did you really have to speed up?' The wolf questioned her, but all she did was nod a yes.

As she walked, a sudden darkness covered her eyes. Something was tickling her face, feathers, or at least something soft. But not all of it was feathery. Only a few moments later, she was able to see again. 'The tree.' The wolf said, starting to snarl viciously. Falling to the ground so that she wouldn't have to hurt her neck trying to look up, she spotted a human looking creature, that had parts of different animals, or so it looked like. "Who are you?" She asked as she stared at the thing. "You scared me."

Coatzin smiled, standing on the branch calmly, her long tail instinctively wrapping itself around the tree trunk once more to avoid any incidents “I’m Coatzin, I’m new around here. Sorry for scaring you, I just wanted to play a harmless prank on you, that’s all” She shrugged a bit before looking at the snarling wolf, she wasn’t scared of him but she obviously didn’t want to get on his bad side either just for a small prank “Relax, I was just playing” After that she quickly climbed down the tree, jumping off once she was close enough to the ground to fall without hurting herself.

Instead of fully folding her wings or wrapping her tail around her waist and abdomen like she usually did she just relaxed, there was no need to be so careful around here after all, since there wasn’t a large amount of people that could get bothered by this. Her half-open wings showed their colorful feathers in all their glory as her long tail moved slowly around her, letting anyone around her to know that she felt calm yet curious “I just wanted to see who was around here after I heard your voice. This place is apparently a bit lonely and I was curious. Mind if I ask your names, by the way?”.

Staying rather calm as the girl introduced herself, she saw that there was no reason to be alarmed by what the girl had done. It was a prank. She hasn't hurt her. She had been so scared that she had even forgotten her courtesies to the women. As she climbed down and talked her to wolf, she felt a bit more protected knowing that Ferrir was still by her side. "It's okay." She looked down at the wolf, to let her know that she didn't need to eat her, at least be yet. 'You're no fun Orlena.' The wolf said as it slowly silenced it's snarling.

Observing the tail and wings of the girl, she was fascinated by all of the colors that she saw, as if her wings were a small rainbow. "I love your name Miss. My name is Orlena, Miss." She said confidently as she looked at the girl. "This is my trusty sidekick Ferrir." Not even a second after saying that last word, she heard the wolf chuckle. 'Sidekick my wolfy ass, Orlena. You're the sidekick.' Getting a bit pissed off at what the wolf has said, she turned to her glared and turned back. Now wasn't the time to argue. "It usually is pretty quiet and lonely out here."

Coatzin politely nodded after hearing their names, her feather puffing up a bit with pride after the small compliment, luckily for her this was barely noticeable “It’s a true pleasure to meet you both” What originally was meant to be just a small relaxing flight while exploring the islands was turning to be quite an interesting meeting with a friendly cool girl and an intelligent white wolf. She could feel that they had some kind of bond between them, a bond that wasn’t exactly a family, pet or friendship one even if she could easily tell that they were friends by the way they acted. There was something else, but she couldn’t put her finger on it, she wasn’t that surprised though, it only took her a couple of hours after her arrival to learn that this place was full of surprised and mysteries waiting for someone to reveal them.

“I was just exploring this place while relaxing, stretching my wings for a bit, but I must say that finding you was a nice lucky occurrence, it’s not an everyday thing for me to cross paths with someone as interesting after all” Her friendly eyes soon landed on the wolf, her eyes landing on the intelligent canine’s “Mind if I ask you about your friend here? I never had seen such an intelligent wolf before” She couldn’t help but wonder what kind of wolf was this, she had seen several kinds of wolves before, but all of them were just your usual feral wolf, she had heard about shapeshifters as well, but this wolf obviously didn’t fall on said category.

Feeling a bit calmer as they broke the ice in between the three of them. Not that Ferrir really counted all that much, she was just there to look pretty, be her friend and protect her. It seemed that the girl liked her though, whcich was a good sign. Some peole at the island still feared the sight of a wolf, or any animal that wasn't seem as domestic. "You too." She said as she felt better to be better acquainted with the girl.

As she listened to the reason behind why she was here, It felt weird to think that the girl had been flying, only a few moments ago, and she herself was stuck in the ground. She wondered if someone who had wings got tired, like she did when she ran. One of the many question sthat would have to wait until she knew her better.

[color=#8B4513Oh, Ferrir? Well I mean.."[/color] She stopped as Ferrir interrupted her thoughts. 'Are you really going to tell her? Are you that stupid to tell anyone that asks? What if she eats wolf? Or hunts summoners?' She asked impatiently, staring at the girl. "That's why you're here, am I right?" She answered the wolf, before turning to the girl once again. "Shes's a ancient spirit, you could say. I'm a summoner. She's one of many, but one of my favorites." She smiled at the girl brightly. 'I am guessing that the little white fox, whatever her name is, iss the one that is your faovrite?' SHe wolf chuckled before staniding up and brushing her fur on Orelna's leg. 'You're all mine., I should be your favorite, I'm pretty awesome.' The wolf finished inside her head, trying to convince the girl.

Coatzin’s wings and tail raised a bit with interest when the girl told her that she was a summoner, yeah, she had read about this kind of people in several books before, people that held the power to summon creatures as they pleased whenever they pleased. So, the wolf was one of those creatures? She found that a bit weird, all the books that she had read always talked about huge powerful creatures, such as dragons or gigantic wolves, not common-sized animals. Oh well, she had learned that humans liked to make a storm out of a glass of water, so maybe that was the reason behind the powerful creatures that they summoned.

“That’s so cool! I never thought that I would be able to meet a summoner face to face before, and even less an ancient spirit! I mean, I knew that your kin existed because of books that I like to read, but…but...this is just so cool!” The enthusiastic hybrid girl flapped her wings a bit as her tail moved from side to side like a huge feathery ribbon behind her, this day could get any cooler? Probably not.

“I’m a hybrid, half human, half Quetzalcoatl. Don’t ask about how I was born though, it’s a bit complicated and even I don’t know exactly how it happened, since my dad never wanted to tell me the full story” As she talked she puffed up her feathers just a bit, enough to look more magnificent and beautiful (Or at least that was what she was always told), most creatures would feel ashamed or angry of being a hybrid, but Coatzin couldn’t feel more prideful about her mixed origins. They made her unique, they made her what she was, and she wouldn’t change that for anything in this world.

Smiling, she was overly happy by the fact that the girl seemed to like complimenting her. It wasn't everyday that someone was impressed with her abilities, as there was so much more to be interested about on their small island. She was just one of many unique "things" on the island. "Thank you Miss, really." She looked down at her wolf companion, Ferrir bowed him head lightly to take in the compliment as well.

As she looked to girl over, it seemed that her body, and the extensions of her body were showing her emotions as well. She was truly a beautiful creature. Orlena herself was a bit jealous that she was just human, more or less, though she didn't want to change anytime soon. "Okay then Miss, I won't ask about it. I think you are very pretty to look at though." She had a sudden urge to touch the girl's wings, but retrained herself from doing that.

(OOC: I'm so sorry ;; )
