Hello and stuff

Well...hi.

I'm really bad at these things. But yeah, I'm a twentysomething freelance writer and artist (mostly a hobbyist artist, but I do make paid stuff to accompany some of the articles I write sometimes). My interests include art, video games, webcomics, tabletop roleplaying games (FATE core is my absolute fave system), elves, water/hydromancy/water magic, and probably a bunch of other stuff I can't think of at the moment because isn't that always how this goes?

Fun fact, I have an identical twin sister, and yes, we do like to wear cutesy matching outfits like all the time. Sadly I haven't been able to rope her into any kind of play-by-post rp stuff like this (though she does enjoy tabletop a fair bit), but she loves it when I make twin characters on sites like this loosely based on the two of us (in which case I tend to just ask her "hey, would you say/do this in this situation?" before submitting a post, which is the closest I can get her to participating in this sort of thing. XD), so you can probably expect identical twins as the first characters I post here.

@Schrodinger's Cat: Heeee, fun! And while I appreciate your offer, I'll probably end up rping both twins as long as that's not against the rules or something. My sister does really enjoy getting into the creation process and looking over my shoulder while I'm writing and "approving" the actions of the character based on her before I post. She just can't be assed to actually make an account. *rolls eyes* And yes sis, I see you there sticking your tongue out right behind me. (she says hi)

Webcomics, hmmm...well, I follow Rain, a really sweet slice of life comic about a transgender girl in high school. Also Gunnerkrigg Court, which is really hard to explain in a nutshell but is really fun and sweet and has sci-fi elements as well as fantasy stuff like magic, faeries, ghosts etc. Those are the only two I'm actively following right now, but if you're curious about anything I might have read in the past, feel free to PM me? How about you?

@WorldDevourer: yes, yes we did. Like all the time. Our parents never fell for it, but it was fun to see what people we knew didn't notice and which ones did. Once sis ended up taking my class on a pop quiz day, and felt really bad because it was technically cheating, and also because she did way worse than I would have since the subject wasn't her strong suit. We didn't do it as much after that. ^^;
