Appearance Description:
Luna is 5'10” with very long, moderately tight curls (definitely curly but looser than her more tightly curled sisters Rose and Azalea) that are naturally medium-brown, but she sometimes likes to add soft-blue colored streaks.
She has a bit of a baby-face, and is frequently ID-ed when purchasing things like alcohol and cannabis. Her eyes are light blue. She tends to wear long, flowy skirts and tops in various shades of green, blue, and brown.
Luna, like her sisters Rose and Azalea, has plantlike markings all over her body. There are leafy vines growing from her scalp along with her hair, and a single Ipomoea Alba (common name: Moonflower) blossom by her ear.

Personality Description:
Luna is typically mild-mannered and upbeat, if quiet. That said, she can be brash and temperamental, even aggressive or downright vicious if she really wants something. She is still working on tempering this trait, and it has smoothed out some now that she's physically matured.
Active Abilities:
Luna can heal others by either touching them or looking at them if they are able to be seen by her (the effectiveness is basically halved this way). Either way, she must be able to move her lips to use this ability as it involves literal whispers of brief prayer to her goddess.
If she can make physical contact with a person, she can heal minor and moderate injuries instantly (cuts that aren't too deep, moderate bleeding, nasty but non life threatening bruises, etc), serious but non-critical injuries over the course of an hour, and can stabilize people in critical condition but can't heal them beyond getting them stable (they won't die right away but still need to be taken to a medical facility asap).
When she can't make physical contact, she is only able to heal minor and moderate injuries, and they heal over a period of thirty seconds, not instantly. The target must be in her physical line of sight and no more than 300 feet away. She cannot affect serious or critical injuries from a distance at all.
Whether touch-range or at a distance, the healing causes both Luna's hands and the wound being healed to glow silvery-blue faintly and be wreathed in shimmering mist for a second or two.

Luna can shroud a willing person she can physically touch with a silvery, shimmering mist that will prevent all damage the next physical attack to hit that person will last. Luna then suffers an intense and crippling burst of pain to whatever relative spot the other person was hit as a sort of “magical feedback” effect as she acts as a conduit to channel the harm away from the shrouded person.
Luna can only cast her shroud on up to two people at once, and it lasts 24 hours or until triggered, at which point it dissipates.

Luna can consecrate a suitable location for prayer to her goddess provided it meets the following criteria: It must contain a calm pool of water with a waterfall emptying into it, and plenty of plantlife.
When the criteria are met and the location has not already been consecrated/desecrated by someone else, Luna may perform an hour-long ritual to cleanse and dedicate the spot to her goddess. She must not be interrupted for the duration of the ritual.
Once consecrated, the location can serve as an amplifier for Luna's healing abilities. If someone in critical condition is stripped of clothing and laid in the waters of the pool, Luna will then be able to use her magic to fully heal all their injuries. She can only do this once per 24 hour period, and it leaves her very drained afterward. She cannot resurrect the dead or restore people who are dying of old age to health.
If she looses her Divine Aegis (see below), Luna will require a consecrated location to commune with her goddess and atone.

Passive Abilities:
A power granted to her by her goddess, Luna exudes an aura of peace and gentleness 100 feet in all directions from her person. This aura is very mild and simply improves the mood of everyone within it slightly, and makes them feel vaguely “safe” and at peace on some level and perhaps slightly less likely to be violent or prone to anger, without changing their actual base personality at all.
Any physical harm that Luna suffers from any form of attack on her is halved. The pain is still felt in full though (example: a sword stroke would only cut half as deep and cause half as much bleeding as it would have otherwise, but the wound hurts as bad as a much deeper cut would). When this effect is triggered there is a brief shimmer of light that erupts from the spot on her body where Luna was attacked. After the effect is triggered it requires one hour to "recharge" during which Luna can be damaged normally.
Should she ever take a violent action that is not done in self-defense or defense of another, the effect vanishes indefinitely, and she needs to commune with her goddess through prayer and seek some form of atonement (to be rp-ed out in a thread) to regain this ability.

Luna's elven heritage allows her to see in perfectly clarity even in total absence of light.
Luna's fae ancestry has endowed her with the ability to sometimes see or hear little flashes or sounds coming from other planes of existence. This happens at random and cannot be controlled, and any dimension or plane that has protections placed on it to prevent magical spying would prevent sounds or images reaching her from that plane.
Luna can also be expected to live around 1,000 years naturally, and her childhood lasted a century

Weaknesses:
Luna's elven eyes and ears are more sensitive to bright lights and loud sounds than the average human. Anything brighter than direct sunlight or louder than moderate background chatter in a crowd will cause pain and disorientation.
Because she's aligned with and receives some of her magical power from a deity devoted to peace and gentleness, Luna grows ill when in the presence of physical violence. This only applies to true violence; play-fighting and sparring is (usually) fine. For the sake of this weakness, I am defining true violence as any action which is done with the intent of inflicting harm or death on another.
When it comes to true violence, witnessing a duel will make her a little queasy. Witnessing a small skirmish might make her need to throw up a little and feel ache-ey and a little weak for awhile. Witnessing a large battle (involving, say, 20 or more people) would cause debilitating weakness, vomiting, and migraine. In a self defense (or defense of others) situation, she can forestall this reaction to some extent by focusing intently on the task at hand, but if she actually participates in violence in any form, you can bet she'll be puking her guts out immediately afterward and probably generally incapacitated for another 8 hours after that.

Biography:
Luna was born to the Snowflower clan, a mostly-elven community deep in the woods with a very communal and familial attitude that attracts a lot of hybrids, misfits, and in general those considered eccentric or troublesome in greater elven society. Though the clan is notably composed mostly of a number of different “always femme-bodied” elven subspecies, the clan matriarchs, Petal and Flurry, have a habit of adopting all sorts of individuals, regardless of race or creed, who need a home. For example: Luna has an adopted orc sister in her family, and a spriggan, to name just a couple less typical members of Clan Snowflower.
The clan originally hails from Ireland, but shortly before the time Luna born, her mothers, the matriarchs, were growing increasingly wary of the ever-encroaching modern world and the difficulties it created with staying out of sight of “normal” folk. They managed to make do with the help of the clan's mages by beefing up the protective wards around the clan sanctuary, but when a Manta Carlos scout found the clan in 1958 (when Luna was 41 years old, about 9-ish developmentally, thus meaning she has only vague and foggy memories of their original homeland on the emerald isle), it seemed like an angel had descended from heaven itself when they were offered the chance to relocate to Manta Carlos island. The clan moved out about a month after the offer was extended, with everyone piling on The Great Oak, the massive sapient and sentient, typically stationary oak treeant that the Snowflowers build their homes on and around, and using her as a willing ship, with her roots extended in a large circle allowing her to float like a tree-shaped raft.
Both before and after her family's relocation, Luna was a competitive and playful child. She was generally very kind to others, but when she decided she wanted something, others' feelings were secondary. This didn't happen often, but when it did she could be downright vicious.
When she reached adolescence, she started to become aware of this gradually and it scared her. One night after she'd managed to piss off one of her older sisters, she felt terrible, and realized she'd been unnecessarily vicious. She did some soul-searching for awhile after that, and found solace in the teachings of The Lady of Waters, a goddess of peace and gentleness, whom some other members of clan Snowflower followed. She realized she could be a better person if she chose to, and she let her Lady be her guide.
She'd always had a moderate interest in magic, and studied it some on her own, but when Luna took an oath as a priestess of The Lady, she gained divine abilities that she resolved to use to help and heal wherever she could.
Now, as a (just barely!) fully-fledged adult by the standards of her clan, as of her 100th birthday last March, Luna found herself dissatisfied with her life in the clan glade, wanting to be able to use her abilities to help more people. When she eventually voiced this concern to her mothers, they offered to use some savings money to offer her and the twins, who were already in the city, a storefront to open a dispensary and magical care clinic using their collective healing abilities. The reason for the dispensary part being to utilize Luna's sister Azalea's love of casually breeding cannabis plants in her apartment to use spreading availability of cannabis on the island, something both Luna and the twins have found very helpful to their anxiety, and certainly for Azalea's headaches.
And so does Luna Snowflower, or “Moonflower” as her sisters would call her, set out to Manta Carlos city with little more than the keys to an empty storefront and the standing offer to crash at the twins' place.
