The facility is Manta Carlos's largest employer of psychiatrists, but also has a large medical and security team. Staff have access to the basement of the facility, a series of tunnels and rooms which run directly under the facility itself, allowing them to travel quickly and safely between areas.
Most members of the staff live on the main island, although it isn't uncommon for staff to work multiple days in a row and sleep in facility housing before taking several days off. Staff are encouraged to be friendly with all patients, and are encouraged to eat meals and regularly socialize with patients. This allows for rapport to be built, preventing abuse as much as possible.
