Islets Security

  • The general impression of the facility by those who first see it is that it is far from secure. There are no bars on the windows, razor wire atop the walls, or security towers. This is far from the case, but the facility eschews these more overt security measures in favor of creating a more welcoming rehabilitative environment.

While guests are allowed to visit regularly, patients are searched after each visit and if any contraband is found that guest might lose visiting privileges completely.

The facility is also benefited by its location. The island itself is isolated, and has extreme, rocky terrain, with a rough sea all around it. Escaping the facility is difficult, even if a patient does manage to get out of the facility, as they would still have to get off the island and deal with their nullification bracelet.

The facility does not comment on or publicize escapes, but does make it clear that citizens should not remove nullification bracelets from anyone who asks them to.
