Manta Carlos City has a very creatively driven population, and as such there is a lot of island specific media that you can't get access to out in the Narrow Reality. A few of the more well known television shows, movies, and social media apps can be found here.
Acinaces Arena - A coliseum style arena on the island created to allow those with violent tendencies to let those urges out in a legal and occasionally profitable way.
Bleedr - a hook up/dating style app that caters to vampires and other androvores (to a lesser extent). The idea is that a vampire can meet up with a person willing to be fed on. Some go on to use the app for romantic or sexual purposes, but this is definitely not its intended function.
Confess/Sin Booth - an advice live stream podcast show run by a former Catholic priest and his Incubus husband, taking questions from callers during their live shows. A lot of their callers are having some kind of crisis of faith with living on Manta Carlos, or are otherwise struggling to adapt to such an open society.
Don't Sass the Squatch - a talk show hosted by one Theodore G. Faulk, a Sasquatch with a remarkably precise Received Pronunciation accent. Most of the time he just talks about current affairs on Manta Carlos, but occasionally he will bring on guests with purposefully inflammatory opinions and get them riled up so that he can predictably shut them down.
DRAGON COP - a police drama from the 1980's starring Krasis the Unquenched, a dragon tyrant turned actor. The show followed the exploits of the ubiquitous Dragon Cop and was styled similarly to shows like Miami Vice and the like. It waned in popularity, but has a dedicated cult following even today.
Fatal Attraction - a now infamous documentary that has been removed from circulation by the Manta Carlos
Government, though that doesn't mean you can't get a copy of it if you look hard enough. Widely regarded as Citizens Against Evil propaganda, the film depicts several human-supernatural relationships that end in tragedy when the usually demonic or vampiric partner brutally murders the human partner. In addition to the highly graphic nature of the documentary, evidence of its subjects even existing is highly speculated.
Fryktories - A social media app connected to Acinaces Arena that allows amateur fighters to book matched for themselves as well as allowing fans to book tickets ahead of time, or even watch some matches via live stream.
HFO 066.6 - known as
Hell Froze Over, this radio station is known for its cast of colorful demonic hosts and focus on local musical talent. The most popular block is the
Double D Late Show featuring Duke Devil.
House Haunters - A reality show depicting the lives of different households where some are living and others are ghosts. Widely regarded as daytime TV trash, but its ratings are consistently high.
Life Before Death - a popular podcast and website where the undead can get help uncovering who they were when they were alive, as well as sharing their stories.
Living Dead Girls - an all girl, all undead band popular on the island. While they started out doing covers of Rob Zombie and similar artists, they have evolved into their own original symphonic horror-metal.
