"I just didn't want to do my homework," Anh Sang said, making a face at the fork in the road. "It was boring and this isn't boring so I thought it would be fine." She stared for a moment.
"Can we go left now?" she asked. "I'm bored and we went right already, right?"

With a sudden idea in her head, Anh Sang cupped her hands around her mouth and yelled down the path, "HEY, I HAVE A QUESTION." She paused for a moment before continuing, "IF I USE MAGIC TO BUILD STEPS UP TO THE TOPS OF THE HEDGES, DOES THAT COUNT AS LEAVING THE MAZE?"

"Same thought it'd be cool," he'd look down each path and hum in thojght, "we went right last time, so yeah left might best, we don't go in circles." He'd look to the younger girl, "I think it'd count as cheating."

She puffed up her cheeks and looked at the older boy. "Ain't no rule that says you can't look over the hedges," she protested. "If it's not in the rules, then that's allowed, right?" It only made sense to her. If adults didn't mean for them to do it that way, then they would just say so!

Xarrah thought about it then shook her head “There’s prbably a similar rule it but it would run the fun and integretity if you really must I support your decision” After all the worst the squirrel could do would be to kick them out the maze right?

James would nod in agreement with Xarrah, "either way, we should decide which way to go." He'd look back to the paths, "I still say left, since we took right last time." They could always turn around if they decided to.
A squirrel appeared from midway up, maybe ten feet off the ground. It glanced around, searched until it spotted Anh Sang, and then spoke in September's voice.
"If your head goes above the hedge, that's out of bounds."
