"I don't really care," Anh Sang admitted with a hum. "I'm not good with all that serious secrety stuff. I'm just here to have fun!" She pointed to the sky, striking a pose with both legs spread defiantly.

"Also Mommy says that people have to play their strengths and mine is just doing things," she said after a thought.

The path immediately split into a cross intersection. The paths to both the left and the right seemed to extend quite a ways, but the one dead ahead seemed even longer, stretching more than ten units.

She pointed down the longest path. "This is probably a trap but I don't care, we should take it!" Anh Sang declared, having decided that only the longest paths were the worthiest. "Also this is like, halfway through, right? So we should totally do it."

James squinted at both paths, humming a little, a few shadow tentacles lifting him a little to get a slightly elevated view before dripping back down. "I say the longer one two, honestly I expect the shorter ones to have traps," he'd wrap an arm around Xarrah.

Xarrah smiled and shook her hand “Nice to meet you and all those things are pretty cool.” She said smiling. The girl was pretty adorable. “Yeah that sounds good, if its a trap the Squirel person didnt say we couldn’t use our abilities to help us out?” She smiled up at James, she wasn’t gonna mention how this was totally like those maze horror movies. If they didn’t stop to make out they wouldn’t die. “On-ward we shall go!”

There was nothing much to see, even from an elevated view. The paths were poker-straight, and the nearly identical greenery made even turns more or less impossible to see, even for someone with enhanced senses.

The path to the north continued three units before there was another branch, offering left and right paths in addition to continuing on straight. Both paths to the side dead ended almost immediately, although the path to the right offered more options.

Xarrah laughed a bit “No we haven’t gone right and I was thinking the same thing.” She tilted her head “No we definitely only went straight. Also we dont have to worry about a circle we’ll just do it differently next time around.” She excitedly started down the path to the right.

If somebody else said it was okay, then it was probably fine, Anh Sang thought. Some people were good at thinking, some were good at doing. Most people on the island were good at thinking, actually, so she assumed the dragon girl person was in that category. Therefore, her conclusions were probably good and she should just go with them.

Nodding enthusiastically, she bounced along.

James would chuckle, "come on kid," he'd tell the younger girl as he followed Xarrah, "yeah, we gotta make sure we don't end up going in circles." He'd look around, keeping his eye out for anything unusual, "so whyd you two come?"
