
If they could keep the ritual going and not cause a disaster of some sort. Tuesday was actually really pleased at the humming orchestra of magic emanating from the stones. Anything that blocked out the crushing weight of silence was a good thing in her book.
Then the unseen force collided with their protective circle and the shudder could be felt throughout the clearing. Tuesday leapt into action as soon as the first candle was blown out. She ran over and, while still keeping up the chant, she quickly ran through the series of gestures required to cast new flames into the darkened candle.
By then the second candle had gone out too so she did it once more to try relighting that one too.
The combined effort of those two spells in such quick succession though began to take a toll almost immediately. She was already sweating and her breathing was getting heavy. Cami growled up at the sky and stayed close to Tuesday, ready to pounce on any foes that came close to her. The wolf was not loyal to anyone but Tuesday.
