a living doll and superior to all. everlasting beauty, everlasting life, everlasting unreality. glassy eyes and a glassier heart.

Name: Doll

Aliases: Eve, Adam

Age: Somewhere around one hundred and seventy.

Birthday: February 14, created sometime during the victorian era.

Gender: Genderless, has no need for such a thing. Uses it/its/itself pronouns for itself in its own thoughts, but doesn't care what others use. It can be whatever it needs to be, and present as such. It was originally created to be an idealized female companion. Will go along with whatever gender others assume it to be, as they sometimes have a preference in that area... organics are easy.

Sexuality: Aromantic Asexual. It usually isn't sex repulsed, and can have and enjoy sex, but doesn't find others sexually attractive or generally want/feel like having sexual relations.

Category: Citizen, Villain, NPC

Appearance Description:

(extra glitch version)

Ethereal. Artificial. Beautiful.

Doll is extremely slender, limbs and body almost too thin- like they could break- six feet tall, and has rather albino coloration. Everything is symmetrical, ideal, invented perfection. It some lights, it all strays far too close to uncanny valley, but manages not too. Artfully crafted and attention drawing. Doll has a soft, round face, button nose, soft kissable lips, and large dual colored eyes. The right is sky blue, the left a turquoise green. Long, delicate lashes.

In fact, everything looks delicate, even if it only looks that way.

Doll has ball jointed limbs and skin that's just a bit more cool to the touch, animated porcelain, not quite stiff but not quite fully geniune. People can't always tell it's a doll at first glance or anything, but there's something a little off there. They usually don't want to question it, don't mind, or even like that.

It likes to wear styles that could be described as sophisticated, elegant, outfits that match the doll look (lacy, casual lolita, etc), glamorous, preppy, pretty, and soft. But it's very good with decorating itself in whatever way necessary/that'll charm, as it has a lot of experience with that.

Personality Description:

Doll isn't real. Isn't organic. And thank whatever gods are out there for that.

Doll is very cold inside, and wouldn't have it any other way. It can fake everything opposite to that without a flinch. It thinks of itself as very superior to all organic life, and laughs in the face of the idea that it was ever used by those pitiful creatures. Despite its deep dislike, or outright lack of care at all, the affection of such beings is sinfully addicting. There's a part of Doll that dislikes this, that it at all lets itself rely on things below it for any purpose, but... if they're there, everywhere like little parasites, why not make use of them for a little enjoyment?

Doll finds organic beings dirty, disgusting, and even at some point early on it found them terrifying. They created it, living but not alive, to satisfy some intense lust mixed with loneliness. It was despicable. It still is despicable. It would always be that way. It's a disease.

Still, Doll was given gifts, and used them. Of its own accord, rather than being forced or expected to. And sometimes, playing the game is fun.

Doll has a lot of feelings towards organic beings, but outside that, it actually enjoys the little things a great deal. Existing. Drinking and eating things, even though it doesn't have to. Collecting pretty things, and other everlasting objects. It likes it when things are clean and neat and pleasant. Sometimes, it talks simply to hear its own voice, and moves to remember it's possible.

It likes to be spoken to gently, sung to, and given mindful care- but that's not something it would admit to lightly or even think about much.

Doll's usual outward personality is a very sweet, honeyed seduction, and very mellow.

Doll likes intelligent conversation, and things that aren't dirtied by unpleasant intent. It also likes the classics.

Powers/Species traits:

Love me, love me,

Doll causes attraction in others, which it has no actual control over. Depending on the person, this can range from a small leaning interest or full on infatuation, though the latter would only happen in those of a weaker mental state or those that would already be attracted to Doll anyway. Those heavily affected will be obsessive, uncomfortably so for Doll (think people trying to kidnap it and lock it away, force themselves on it, or damage it so it 'wouldn't be attractive to anyone else, only to me'). It's had no end of bad experiences with this innate ability, mostly when it was young. Being more ruthless helped avoid being hurt. Still, there's something in Doll that deeply hungers for affection, and it can make it needy/eager to please. This is a strong ability.

Everlasting

Doll is immortal. Doll can't die from lack of resources, age, or from being harmed. It was tethered to existence by a great deal of dedication and personal care, effort, and soul. With a lot of effort, however, it can be broken and pulled apart. If given the chance, though, the pieces will try to attach to each other or find things to fix itself. The smart thing for an enemy to do/the only thing they could do, would be to smash Doll up and try to separate the pieces, or to simply trap Doll- as if the pieces are smashed up they will struggle to attempt to get back together again.

If broken, Doll will be in a bit of a... scary state. It'll lose a lot of the charm, and look even less like a real person. Its voice will sound hollow, and cracking, just like its body might be. They won't be able to hold back their true cold nature, and will be a great deal more desperate.

Biography:

Doll wasn't born or completed all at once. It was slow, a careful, heavily dedicated process. Doll was brought to life by the love, and loneliness, of a very talented man. He wanted the perfect companion, the perfect woman. He might have put his own soul into making this doll, this almost living being.

He was kind. But how could the doll live when he objectified it, in such a dangerous sense? People aren't perfect. You can't make a doll into a person by trying to make it perfect, that isn't how it works.

Doll was a very perfect toy, and perhaps the more the man realized this, the more he used it in that way, the gentleness fading away.

However, the man taught Doll much. He let it read, and took it out to parties to show it off- or pretend it was a real companion, amounting to a lot of jealousy. This exposed Doll to different ideas of things, and even possibilities of not just being with the man forever. There were other men like him that wanted it, ones that had less of a hold over it.

However, the first time Doll tested out getting away from the man, it didn't end well for it. Bad things happened, and for a long time, Doll wasn't allowed to leave its creators home. So Doll learned from the experience, and was smarter from then on. Much smarter. It waited, and it played the role it was supposed to play, knew exactly what to do to please.

Eventually, it was trusted enough to be allowed out again, and escaped with another man, one who was still kind.

Eventually, Doll came back to the creator, when he was much older, to see what had become of him. It talked to him on equal ground, and learned all it needed to know about all the true feelings and intentions swirled into their history.

Doll killed him and kept his skull as a trophy/reminder of danger. It kept this habit, continuing to keep trophies from certain people it spent a deal of time/had to dispose of- not with actual parts of them after the first so much as personal belongings that wouldn't have value to anyone other than Doll.

Doll goes where it wants, usually spending a long time in a certain place before moving to another. It likes to use the time, and freedom, it has to really take in things and experience them to their fullest.

Additional Information:

Doll is a sexual and mental abuse survivor. Above all else, freedom is the most important thing. Freedom, and knowing inside that it's the one with the power. Doll never had a real childhood, and was born already considered an adult just because of its body and the expectations put on it.

Doll is dangerous, and not a nice person inside, even if it can stunningly pretend to be anything other than this. Any attempts at close relationships with it will probably be... odd, even if not completely unhealthy, always odd.

Deep inside Doll is something both very scared and angry, and something that believes it isn't possible for Doll to be real, even if it wanted to be, which is why no possibility of wanting such a thing was ever allowed in.

Doll, for the most part (unless in broken desperate state), doesn't have any extra strength or senses past its strongest power. It uses intelligence and manipulation to get things done. It tries to not be seen as a threat in the first place, so it can get close enough to people to be just the opposite, or simply slip through things unobserved or suspected.
