Pham Thi Anh Sang

The more Anh Sang thought about it, the more she just felt really bad for Yuzuru. What would she have done if she had to deal with the same things he did? No magic? Then what was the point, even? She wasn't even thinking about the ability to do magic herself. The idea that there could be interesting, awesome things all around her and she wouldn't be able to see it just plain sucked.

"Nah, I think I understand," she said thoughtfully. "It's kind of sad, isn't it? Everybody keeps throwing their magic at him but it just never works at all." She still wasn't sure if she really wanted to get to know him, though. Magic was just such a huge part of her life and she didn't really know what to do with somebody who didn't share that.

She watched curiously as Milo began to draw something and looked at the paper with interest when he offered it to. "Oh? Flowers?" She didn't have any idea what kind they were but even so, she thought they were pretty. "I didn't know you could do art, too, big bro!" Anh Sang said, beaming. "I love seeing what other people do!"

"I'm sure everyone involved is rather tired of it," Milo sighed. "Again, at this point, seems better to just move on from the magic and focus on other things with him. Even if that's… hard. Just gotta remember he likely feels the same."

"Yeah, they're for you, cheer up kiddo," Milo said with a grin. "I kinda only think of it as a hobby, since I'm nothing like some people are with art. But I'm a fan of flowers, and patterns. They're fun- I like simplicity that can also be meaningful, as well as lead into bigger things."

He rubbed at the back of his neck self consciously. "It's really not a big deal, though, haha." It all had started off as a sort of stress reliever, doodles in the corner of his schoolwork, bright and flowing distractions, beginning small and then being forever added to.

"What do you like to create, Anh Sang?"

"Well, it's still pretty good!" To be honest, Anh Sang didn't really understand people who said things like how they did this or that as just a hobby, especially with art. People seemed to always put so much time and effort into doing things, so why just leave it at that, like it didn't really mean anything?

"I like to draw flowers and butterflies and birds, lots of things! But I really like drawing pretty people with wings." Her arms were lifted up and making flapping motions as she spoke, quite seriously. "You know, like dragonfly and butterfly wings. Bird wings are okay but they can get boring sometimes, I don't know. It's weird."

Bird wings were just so common, basically. Sure, there were lots of types but when she used bug wings instead, she could get away with fixing up a lot of details. To make it more interesting, pretty much.
