This is a family of wide ranging branches, but most of them negate magic in some way. Negating auras, outright poison, reflection, things like that. Quad wings run in Charlie's branch, some members of which had historically been... Unfriendly to starlight academy. Charlie's parents were the primary rebels but died about twenty years ago, with enough warning to hide their unhatched child as a human.
I'm looking for older siblings - basically fifty years old and up, so tons of flexibility, as well as members of other branches. Suspicion of Charlie based on his parentage would be interesting. Charlie was probably assumed to be dead unhatched, but his current form is rather undeniable.
Connections to other dragon families are also potential plots. The Teindric clan originally hails from the Scottish highlands but are quite dispersed.
