In Suk had no idea what was happening between Fontaine and the saleslady but it looked like they were having some sort of argument, just based off of the looks on their face. Fontaine was scowling and the lady had this pinched smile which looked fake and rubbery. She wondered what they were arguing about but maybe it wasn't a great time to ask.

"Be that as it may," the saleswoman was saying as In Suk looked around at other points of interest, "your friend should know better than to disturb animals like that! And you, for that matter, have something of an attitude, miss! No matter what your friend is doing now, I'm going to have to ask you both to leave immediately."

Smirking at the lady, she nodded confidently. "Call me whatever you want. Not like I'd want to come back in here. This place freaks me out." She decided to ignore her other remarks, as Fontaine wasn't mean, and she might have had an attitude, but that was just because her friend was being put in danger by some lady. Fontaine didn't feel right about bringing the whole part where In Suk was also deaf, as she had enough of the store, and especially the lady running it. Sighing rather loudly, she looked in the direction of the door, looking back at the store owner, giving her a long stare down, before she started to walk away. She only walked a few steps, before looking behind her to make sure that In Suk was coming. Before continuing to walk, she looked back over to the lady. "You know, I hope that you learn some respect, because my friend here was really interested in seeing something unusual, but of course, you took that away from her because you have such amazing rules. Have a nice life." She said with one last glare before turning around and grabbed In Suk's hand firmly. "Let's go, okay?" Fontaine said in a reassuring voice even though she knew that In Suk couldn't understand.

Abruptly, there was another hand in hers again and startled, In Suk looked at Fontaine. The girl seemed even angrier than before as she tugged her hand a few times as they headed to the door. Time to leave already? That was disappointing but she supposed that there wasn't that much of interest anyways, mostly to reassure herself that she wasn't that upset over it. Besides, if Fontaine was getting so mad over something, there was probably something weird happening.

So she just smiled in confusion and followed Fontaine out to the street.

She couldn't believe the shop owner was so hot headed and mean to her own customers. Gritting her teeth as she almost pulled In Suk away from the lady and her crazy store, she stopped after a few steps of being away from the store, turning behind her to make sure that In Suk was still okay. Smiling, she looked at her, looked around her to make sure that she didn't have scars or that she wasn't hurt anywhere. Relieved that she was fine, Fontaine took a deep breath and smiled once again, knowing that they were both okay. Thinking to herself, she wasn't sure as to what they were supposed to do now. Looking away from her, Fontaine did a 360 of their surroundings, looking for anything that could be of use or fun to them, but to her, everything looked bland and the same. Turning over to In Suk once again, thinking that maybe she had an idea. Tilting her head to the side, she looked at the girl with a light smile.

Okay, so maybe she was just a little disappointed. It was perfectly reasonable. After all, this was a magical city on a magical island. The lack of anything outstandingly magical and amazing was kind of a let down, although she supposed that it was nice to see that some things would simply never change. Even across the cultural boundaries, people would still just be people. That was nice in a way.

But there had to be something that she just had to see. Something that was -okay, the city was interesting in its own mundane way. In Suk had to admit that. Maybe she was just looking at everything wrong. Or. With a silent groan, she facepalmed with her free hand. Right, technology. Technology existed.

She made a hold on a minute gesture to Fontaine, smiling sheepishly, before one-handedly typing on her phone. Earlier when she had first come to the island, somebody -who could actually write in Korean!- had mentioned an Intranet. For the most part, she had ignored that information but now it seemed relevant. Places of interest in Manta Carlos City. It pulled up a map of the entire city, which was all well and good except she also had no idea where on the map they were.

For a moment, she blinked at all of the tiny English text. Before looking at Fontaine with a help me, I have no idea what I have gotten myself into expression, holding her phone up a little.

Being given the 'hold on sign' by her friend, she tilted her head back to it's original position, she patiently waited. Feeling a bit awkward when she saw her friend trying to type on her phone with one hand, she considered letting go, but at the same time, In Suk didn't seem to mind too much. As the girl stared almost blankly at her phone, Fontaine got the idea in her head that the girl was most likely looking at something that she didn't understand. She so wanted to just talk to her in English, but she knew that the effort would be pointless. As In Suk lifted the phone up a bit higher, she lightly took it with her free hand, seeing what the girl had pulled up.

A map of the city, an English map. It all connected in her head now, as English dominated a lot of their island, so it made sense that the map would also have English names. Observing the map, she put on a pondered look, unsure if she could even figure out where they were. They just exited a store, with a bunch of other stores and buildings around them. Not very descriptive. Taking a quick 180 check around them, she didn't see any signs or street names at all. Sighing, she raised her shoulders lightly, wondering if there was a way to get direction on the electronic thing. She herself wasn't good with the little light boxes that everyone loved.

Their best bet was to just pick a place and hope for the best. Of course, it would make a lot more sense for her to choose, but couldn't. How on earth am I supposed to pick somewhere that I don't even know? She asked herself as she contemplated. Choosing the first and closest option on the little map, a line on the screen showed up, as the map zoomed in and gave them directions to their unknown location. Maybe she wasn't too bad with electronics! Turning the phone around, she showed In Suk quickly that she had chosen somewhere.

The Korean girl watched curiously as her friend fiddled with the map, wondering if maybe she should have actually taken her high school English classes seriously. Seeing where she was, the answer was probably. But in her defense! The main issue was that the universal translation spell only worked in the classrooms and seemed not to work on text. Or maybe that wasn't a defense so much as an excuse.

She squinted at the location Fontaine had chosen. It was close, at least, but she didn't have any idea what it was. But In Suk figured, if a shop she had literally chosen at random was interesting -despite them leaving so soon and all. What was that all about, anyways?- then a place that popped up when they were specifically looking for interesting locations was probably just as good if not better.

Guessing the direction that they were supposed to go in based off of the map, she pointed that way, smiling in a Okay, let's go together! sort of manner, and tugged on Fontaine's sleeve.

Taking the girl's very subtle response into consideration, she knew that In Suk wasn't opposed to the idea of it. Nodding lightly to herself, Fontaine quickly looked back towards her, giving the girl a short up sweet smile before walking in the direction she had seen her point her only a few seconds ago. She wasn't sure exactly as to what she was supposed to expect from this unknown place. Fontaine was okay with anything, as long as it didn't freak out In Suk or put them in danger. As thy passed by people, it seemed to her that no one even cared to pay attention to them. Maybe it was the fact that it looked as if Fontaine was getting chased by a lost puppy, as she was going a bit too fast, urging to see what the new store would offer. Slowing down a few steps to go to In Suk's pace, she turned her head to the girl to give her an 'I'm sorry I usually walk alone' type look.

Fontaine really seemed to be in a bit of a hurry, In Suk thought. Maybe she was just really excited about going to this gibberish English named place. Maybe she even knew it? No, but then she would probably go slower, right? In Suk deduced that wherever they were going, it would probably be fun no matter what.

It was a relief with Fontaine slowed down a bit. In Suk was too used to going at her own pace, on her own. Beating to the sound of her own drum, for a certain matter of speech. Only, nobody could really hear her drum and she couldn't hear others'. So she did understand the look that Fontaine gave her, the sheepish one that people got whenever they realized that Oh, right! There's somebody with me now!

She had probably done much the same whenever she actually had to interact with people. With a smile and a shake of the head, No, it's totally fine! I do that too!, In Suk laughed silently.

Relieved to see the look that In Suk gave her, it seemed that she understood, or at least acknowledged that Fontaine had changed her pace for her. Smiling and giving herself a short but sweet giggle, she kept the same, slower pace, substituting speed for comfort. Looking around them, it seemed as if they were so small, compared to other people. Not that they were in any way short, but everyone else felt too focused on other tasks. She felt that if she didn't have In Suk's hand, they would be lost forever in a swarm full of people and buildings.

Squeezing the girl's hand lightly, making sure that she was still there, she kept her slow pace, hoping that they were going in the right direction. Looking back to the girl, she gave a 'I really hope that we aren't lost' look, concerned that she had brought them to an unknown location. Jumping up lightly, she tried to see if they were indeed heading in the right direction. Smiling at her find, she looked back towards In Suk, giving her a 'Okay we are good I found it' look, as she casually walked for a few seconds, pointing to the place that they wanted to go to once it was clear to them both.
