I suppose I should introduce myself:

I’m Izy, hi!

I’m really excited to be here and meet all of you! I’ve been writing for fun in some form for most of my life. I’ve been on sites similar to this and I love the way two writers can come together and make something amazing! However, life is busy and it’s been a while, so I’m pretty rusty.

I’m currently a graduate student studying tropical climate variability and climate change. I’ve worked on a variety of projects and I’m involved heavily in outreach (i.e. I love talking about science! So be warned). When I’m not buried in work I enjoy writing (obviously haha), going to concerts and movies, and nerding out about clouds and storms.

Anyways, nice too meet you all and I can't wait to write with you!

Welcome to the site Izy! I can't say I'm much a science person myself and probably won't have anything cool to add, but I find listening about climate change and different types of clouds to be fun.

Anyway! If you have any questions don't hesitate to hop on in the Cbox and call out for a staff member. One of use is usually around.

I'm excited to meet a fellow grad student, too! Your area of study sounds fascinating and I must admit I'm terribly jealous! I love the sciences but I'm a horrible math student, so I focus more on humanities/applied sciences. I'm midway through my MA right now!

In related discussions, I'm not a science buff at all honestly, and I wasn't the best in my science class either ~~I'm barely even getting through my own college major l-lol~~ but!!
