Tristan opened his eyes to find himself somewhere he had never been before. He looked around, taking in the desks and the busy atmosphere. Satisfied that the scene matched with what he was told, the young boy turned to the man who had magically transported him here. The man was already walking away, but that was fine. Tristan was used to people ditching him to figure things out on his own.

With a sigh, Tristan walked over to a chair and took a seat. He hated paperwork, and it seemed that there was no end to the pages he was given. Sure, most of it was filled out already, but that didn't really mean anything to him. It was mind numbing quantities of stuff that he couldn't even see properly with his new contacts acting up. He had never needed contacts before, so he still wasn't used to them. Looking around, blinking, not moving or blinking; everything caused his eyes to hurt and he knew it was the contact's fault.
Tristan sighed again. He didn't need to worry about the paperwork right now, as he understood. He had a week or so. What he really needed was to go around the school campus. Only problem was, he had no idea of where to get started. Pondering this led him to consider other aspects of the school. Eventually, he started asking himself questions that he really should have considered before agreeing wholeheartedly to the magical school.
What are the classes even about?
