"Really? That could be useful. I can't really use weapons that are bigger than knives anyway, but something for protection might be good to have..." She mused to herself, stuffing the flowers into her bag with the other regents. Her cat jumped off to scout further ahead again, and Wednesday stood back up.

"I don't suppose you could make something that doesn't like, need a lotta strength to use?" She asked, idly as she continued on.

She thought to herself for a moment, before reaching back into her bag and pulling out the knife she had used earlier. It was largely ceremonial, ornate and delicate, though in terms of effectiveness it wasn't anything more impressive than a regular knife.

"Do you think you can improve this?" She asked. "Maybe make it magically sharper or something?

"Well, having it be durable enough to not shatter would be helpful, it's a small blade and all. Hmm...maybe an enchantment that lets it cancel out other magics? Could you do something like that?"

She came to a stop again after speaking. Her cat had located a rabbit. She started to walk a little slower in its direction, before standing behind a tree, peering further out into the forest and spotting it in the distance.

"Well, we can work out the specifics of how to make it later on. It'd be nice having something to work towards."

She turned and gave Sunday a small smile. She was looking a bit more comfortable than she had earlier, it was nice to find something that felt like common ground between the two of them.

Wednesday turned her attention back to the rabbit, focusing for the moment. She held out her finger and began to draw again. One large symbol for the elemental discharge, a couple smaller ones here to set its strength, not too high in case she damaged the ingredients, a couple more here to adjust for the distance, a few here to make sure it was steady...

She quickly finished drawing, tapped the completed symbol, and a thin arc of electricity shot out from it, quickly zipping through all the trees and striking the rabbit dead on. The small animal fell to its side, twitching limply against the ground, unable to move.

Wednesday approached it, her cat emerging from some bushes to follow. She crouched down next to it, gazing impassively on its twitching body, holding the knife.

"Could you hold it steady for me?" She asked Sunday.

She brushed her hair back a little, smiling again. "Well, y'know, I got a long way to go. I could always draw them faster."

The rabbit held still, Wednesday plunged the knife into it, what little struggling it was doing in Sunday's hands fading along with its life. She tugged the knife across its body, opening its skin up, her gloved hands getting covered in blood. Her face twisted at the smell, but otherwise, she extracted the required organs with the precision of someone who'd done this many times.

She quickly wrapped its intestines up and deposited them into a ziplock bag she'd brought, placing it with the rest of the reagents.

"Ok, that's all I needed." She said standing back up, leaving the carcass on the ground. "Thanks for helping me out. Was there anything else you needed to find while we're out here?"
