Coatzin listened to String’s words carefully, trying to stay as calm as possible. She was a lucky girl, she knew that perfectly not only by experience, but also from word of other people here and there. She usually didn’t tried to tempt her luck too much, but she still wasn’t sure if she wanted to leave just yet, even if she could easily tell by String’s words and tone that she was almost ordering her to do so.
“I…I understand. You’re not the first dangerous creature I had crossed paths with before, and one of them follows me almost everywhere I go, so I think I had grown a bit too used to that kind of stuff†Her mind immediately brought forwards the image of Mikistli. Dangerous would be a nice way to talk about her, and though she was careful to never cross paths with her at night during her violent activities, more than once she found her cleaning the blood from her clothes when she woke up, blood that obviously wasn’t hers. Only once she dared to ask what she had done, and the answer only made her fear her alter-ego even more.
Her eyes landed on Strings once more, her friendly smile never leaving her lips, even if her eyes reflect a bit of uneasiness thanks to the thoughts taunting her in that exact moment “I don’t think that anyone should be alone forever though, so I was wondering…if maybe, just maybe, we could be friends?†She wasn’t sure of what kind of answer she was going to get.
