==> Hal
@"Silver"
Today was a day when Hal was particularly bored. His shift at the cafe ended hours earlier and he knew he had no chores or academic responsibilities lined up for a deadline. Now he was literally just walking around downtown looking for something to do.
He considered going to the local arcade but that place was a time sink and a wallet washer. Not that he worried too much on cash. His parents seem to keep track of his spending from his credit card and bank account. Thanks parents, if only your physical attention was as great as your financial support.
Hal eventually stumbled upon the local pizzeria and thought hey I've never actually been here. He'd heard about the rumors about a haunted animatronic and it actually scared him a bit, especially because the rumors he heard were that the haunting was a little more than just the usual ghost scares. The ghost was apparently dangerous and it attacked people at night.
It was in the middle of the day though. There shouldn't be anything to worry about, he thought. If the ghost was here by day, he'd hear stories about people dying at night. Better yet, the place would have been shut down by ghostly attacks. Fortunately, there wasn't. Aye but Hal was a curious and adventurous kid. He had a good grasp of the other worldly and if anything, his ability to short circuit the robot the ghost was controlling. He had the upper hand somehow.
Out of curiosity, Hal decided to check it out. He was greeted by the employees before settling at on one of the tables. He glanced the animatronics onstage just being, well, the usual thing that's expected from robots. The snow leopard caught his attention but after a few seconds he looked back down at the menu he was holding. They were literally just robots.
He wonders if the ghost really just came out at night.
