James would chuckle, "come on girls, it's obvious he isn't going to give us anything, we should keep moving," he'd look at his phone as he was making notes on their turns and drawing a rough map of their progress.

None of them were getting any answers, because they were walking away from the squirrel, who vanished back into the hedge.

The walk to the north kept on for quite a while, with them passing eight markers before they reached the end. Their only option was a right turn, which then immediately led to another right turn, which had them heading back south for quite a while. They'd walked ten units before they were given any option again - to go right or to go left, both of which branched almost immediately.

Xarrah stopped and though for a second, “maybe we should look for a plaque and keep track of how many markers we pass before we turn?” There had to be some way of keeping track of where they had been. “Yeah we can go left” she said looking for a plaque of some sort.

She pouted. "I'm just going to keep asking until somebody answers me," Anh Sang said to the air. Maybe there was a limit to the questions they could ask. That would be mean but fair, she guessed.
