Personality Description:
Mizuko can be summarized in one word: Fujoshi. She loves reading yaoi mangas and watching yaoi anime, and she finds her being Japanese a blessing because she doesn't have to be labelled a weeaboo when acting like one. While she herself is straight, she always tends to ship guys with other guys, even just random ones she sees across the street, and especially ones she's acquainted with.
She's bubbly when happy, but there could be times when she also feels down and she usually becomes quieter during these moments. She is consumed by the thought that nobody will ever like her in a romantic way, so she copes up with that fear by living the fujoshi life. "I'm happy as long as my OTP stays strong."

Mizuko can read minds, but only when a person lets her or is too off-guard around her. A person can always shut her out, as long as they have enough will to do it. Once she's inside a mind, she can take whatever information she can, and she has the choice to keep it in her own head or extract a thought or a dream into small crystal chips that look like micro sd cards that materialize through her powers. When she does the second one, she can use the sd cards in any gadget that has the slot, and the thought or dream she's saved can be viewed similar to a movie. She can do this to her own thoughts. She often does this to her own thoughts.
Also, the sd cards can change form depending on what the current technology can accommodate.
Brain signals.
Mizuko has another power that she's discovered a couple of years ago. She has the ability to jam signals and destroy data and computer sequences upon touching the device (her brain signals cause confusion or mutation in sequences, or jamming of frequencies for waves). However, she's only seen them once during a breakdown during hell week in school before. She's been trying to practice this ability, but she hasn't been able to use it again since then.
This ability has a drawback, which she doesn't know yet (because she hasn't been able to use it yet). Using brain signals is like a double-edged blade, and it strains and damages her if she uses it too much. And the first symptoms would be terrible headaches if she uses it nonstop for more than two hours, nausea and nosebleed if she doesn't stop. And when it gets worse, she would start having blood for uncontrollable tears. And then she'll pass out, as if she's been short-circuited.

She grows up and functions like a normal human, except for her abilities. She was raised by a scientist that stood as her mother, and this scientist gave her a normal life that led to her having normal human dreams.
She grew fond of anime, manga and yaoi after a friend kept bugging her to keep trying them out.
There was an attempt for her to be dragged back to the lab for tests and observations, but her mother loved her, and didn't want her to come back anymore, so she tries to send her away, to England originally, but Mizuko received a letter from Starlight Academy just before boarding her plane. Instead of going to England, she and her mother decided that Manta Carlos was a better place for her.
