Step aside, leprechauns; this pot of gold is mine

"Well, I'd like to go all the way, of course!" Anh Sang answered. It seemed silly to her that anybody would go for anything less. "Of course, if big sis Morgan is running again, and I know she is, she'd probably do much better than me and I'd be okay with that. But definitely, if I can be president, why not just do that?"

Anh Sang frowned. She hadn't really considered much of what would happen after she won, if she won at all. "Well, I don't like school work that much," she said rather childishly as she crossed her arms. "But mom and dad say it's important so I guess I'll have to live with it." It would have been so nice to not have to worry about school but if she got all of the classes cancelled, then that just meant she'd have to go back home, right?

She thought for a bit longer. Her thoughts immediately went to her friends. Morgan, Oliver, Mr. Wong. Morgan was so strong and nice. Anh Sang didn't know what she could possibly do for her. But for the other two, Oliver was very nice and sweet but he seemed so quiet and shy. And Mr. Wong was the same way but she knew for a fact he wasn't strong at all. That summer last year had proved that.

"The school is kind of dumb in the way it handles powers," she declared. She was getting onto something with that but she wasn't sure how to phrase it.

She shook her head. "What ever will help!" Anh Sang said. "Last year, there was a big accident at the school because one of my friends, he got sick or something and lost control of his powers. Some people died and lots of people got hurt and people hated him afterwards! I don't think anybody really did anything about it and the one person who could have, he was in the hospital for a few months because of it anyways."

"I don't really know what to do but the problem is that neither do the teachers!"

"Oh! I actually had a few thoughts!" Making things pretty and flashy was something that Anh Sang could definitely do without any trouble at all. She gestured at the flock of light butterflies around her. They formed up into a neat and orderly grid of lines behind her, one layer on top of another.

"I can make things with my light, probably," she said. "I'd rather keep these butterflies around for myself but I can craft pretty long lasting objects from light. Actually, I don't think anything's every gone out without my letting it."

"Morgan and I tried to do some posters last time," Anh Sang said. "She wanted to do pictures and while I think that's great, I'd like to do artsy stuff, too! But, if I did the pictures ones, I'd probably do it with her."
