Depends on what you mean by milk anything from his family. If it's monetary, that doesn't conflict with Konishi's goal. If it's finding out about more about Félix's dark past and plotting to ruin Félix and his siblings with Jean-Pierre, then that coincides with Konishi's goal.

But it's probably not money. Who needs money if you're an aristocrat? Unless you're penniless to your name.

Aurélie is petty. It doesn't matter if she already has so much money. It's just like videogame points to her. The more she gets, the more she feels like she's winning. Since Félix's family is aristocratic, French even, she'll be interested in seeing what the possibility of a match is. Noble birthright and all, continue the family line and so on. But she'll probably get tired of him after a while, as she normally does of people, and be simply content to kick him aside.

It doesn't matter to Aurélie what his past is like. She doesn't even care what happens to the rest of his family. She just personally likes to see people fall. She doesn't need to crush him for good, she just needs to crush him as many times as it makes her feel good. It's a kind of an art to her. It's better if she can do it herself, but if she sees that Konishi is doing a pretty good job of it, too, she'll be glad to push him off wherever Konishi needs him to be.

I think a trip to Montreal is needed.

Félix can bring along his pretty female friends.

Since Alice is involved with both Konishi and Aurélie, I can see her getting in on this in her own way, but not really to torment Felix. I see Alice is going directly after the Tenebrous family's fortune and power, and using Konishi and Aurélie to do so. Your characters would be allowed to do their thing -unhindered-, and Alice would actually lend her resources to helping both of them. However, her -ultimate- goal would be to let your characters do all the work and then when Konishi has thoroughly ruined Felix and his family and Aurélie has caused her damage swoop in like a vuture and seize control of the family's fortune and magical knowledge and power.(or rather what was left of it) Of course, whether she succeeded or not is up in the air(and is totally up to you guys), but I see her playing this like a chessmaster for the goal of personal gain, and possibly also aiding in the financial ruin of the family if need be...

Would you all be down for Alice being involved in this capacity?

Okay, I've been offered a lot to think about. XD

Until Félix's granddad dies, Félix himself won't be seeing much of the fortune. Since I don't plan for him to kick the bucket (yet), his estate and power is pretty firmly in his grasp. While we can consider an attempt to best him, I'm ultimately not going to let it happen.

My most likely scenario, for Aurélie, would be that once she realized she'd be waiting a long time before her prospective husband gets anything out of Jean-Pierre, and Jean-Pierre himself is surprisingly difficult to kill (he's only two generations removed from Félix, with a lifetime of experience to temper his power), it's not worth bothering trying to get the fortune for the time being.

What do you think of this for a premise: Félix is convinced (by someone?) to return to Montréal to his grandfather with his... multiple prospective bachelorettes. Konishi and Aurélie (and Adrian?) will meet Félix's grandfather, Jean-Pierre, to essentially curry his favour. Depending on what they want specifically, their motivation and interaction could go in a variety of ways.

I'm not quite comfortable with running too many characters in one small space, so I'd rather Alice kept to the background. Perhaps, Ryu, you can arrange ulterior goals for the suitors. But ultimately the only thing I will have crushed at this point is Félix's self-esteem.

Any thoughts from the rest of you?

Sounds good to me, as said in the Cbox, Alice will likely approach this from a three-pronged angle...firstly, by allowing Konishi to do her thing and make Felix hate and fear her. By doing this, she'd hope that she could make him actively want to choose Aureila over Konishi, and, if it is alright with you Emy, Alice would want Aurelia to cooperate in this and try her best to get close to Felix and become the "better option" which may mean -playing nice- for a bit and then changing to a "I'll help liberate you from Konishi" if that doesn't work. Konishi, meanwhile, Alice will let run wild in the hope she becomes too cruel and controlling and pushes Felix away as a result, making Aurelia(whom she(Alice) has more control over/loyalty from) the better option for Felix. Alice's ultimate plan would be to stick Felix with Aurelia and then kill Jean-Pierrie', his fortune and estate going to Felix and thus Auelia. Of course, will it go as planned? Most likely not, and the complications would be fun to RP out. If Konishi manages to keep Felix within her grasp and Alice's plan to use her wicked behavior to push Felix away fails, she'll likely result to more...drastic...measures, becoming an enemy of Konishi and trying to "remove the competition." As far as Jean-Pierrie' is concerned, since Alfa doesn't want him to die yet, he won't, whether that means Alice's attempt on his life fails or complications related to the earlier stages of her plan force her to delay that part of the scheme remain unseen.

Anyway, any input and thoughts on these ideas would be great!

Sounds fine, Ryu.

Adrian, yeah, is kind of background scenery. Aurélie doesn't really intend for her to be more than decoration and general surveillance via Grimhilde. So Adrian's really just kind of the help, honestly. If Jean Pierre likes her more, though, Aurélie certainly won't complain. Adrian also doubles as Aurélie's conscience, but one with very little sway. If you want genuine sympathy from anybody, Adrian will probably be the one to provide it. But her ultimate loyalty is to her sister.

Sounds good to me! :D

I thought it would be kinda funny if Fleur showed up at some point in the thread with Eric. Just imagine the humiliation when Briallen is all interested in his sister and not him oh ho ho~

But only if you want to XD haha
