Emman shrugged with another swig of his drink and put a not-so-reassuring hand on Allan's shoulder. "I know drunk. Malayo pa yan sa todo niya. Mga tatlong baso pa yan. I'll give one more if she asks but that's it." (She's still not totally drunk. Probably three cups away.) The situation didn't quite bother him, as he'd seen worse in his time.

"Reaaaally? You'll give me ooooone more?" Eph asked, laying on the ground with her arm in Adelene's hand. She was facing Emman with her face upside down on the grass.

"One last."

With a childish, innocent and idiotic grin on her face, she reached out for a cup and downed it before she could be interrupted, and now she was more red than green. Then she stared up expectantly with puppy eyes, staring straight into Adelene's glare, all teary-eyed. "A - a - are you mad at me..? I - I just wanted to help..."

Then for whatever reason, she began bawling, burying her face into Adelene's chest and bawling, "I just w-w-w-wanted to help you because you're the most beautifulest person I know and all three of you are shy like idiots when you all obviously like each other!"

She sobbed for a bit more and dried her eyes on her hat which now lay on the ground. Then she turned to Allan and hissed like a child. "You like her. But she's jealous of me kissing Le-o-on. She likes Le-o-on! She likes Le-o-on!"

Adelene was irritated. Really, she was. But a part of her felt guilty when Eph looked at her with those sorry eyes and started crying on her chest.

She was feeling a little uncomfortable; she's always found it embarrassing when someone hoards her personal space, but she did her best, awkwardly bringing up her hands to Eph's back and head, petting her a little.

Eph's words made turned her face tomato-red.

"E-Eph what are you talking about..? That's... That's not really true, Eph, just... just settle down and rest okay..?"

That didn't really stop the lizard lady as she went on to speak to Allan and assuming all kinds of things. Adelene flinched, her eyes wide once more.

"H-Hey I'm not jealous!!" She instinctively backed away, supporting her weight with both hands now.

Her eyes darted towards Allan. "I'm sorry, she doesn't know what she's talking about." Towards Leon. "I wasn't being jealous, I swear." And at Mr. Trinidad. "Sir, please help?"

Leon had no idea what the hell just happened. What the hell was going on. And was just transpired. All he knew is he got kissed by a woman he just met, a lizard woman at that. Then Adelene pulled Eph off him and was getting rather... He had no idea anymore. But the mocking tone at Allan is what got to Leon more then anything. For now he just continued to lay on the ground because he didn't even feel like sitting up at the moment.

"Look whether that's true or not doesn't matter. No need to, well, start that kind of trouble between friends. If Adelene has a crush on me? That's none of your business. Mocking the three of us like that is just asking for trouble."


Leon could hear it in everyone's voices. They were startled, embarrassed, angry, and just plain ole confused. Compared to the rest the only tone coming from Leon's voice was rather...Calm. Like he had just brushed off what just happened. Sitting back up Leon looked from Eph, to Allan, then to Adelene with his gaze continuing to look at her.

"Well if anything this has been...You know I don't think there is any word that would properly describe this. Besides really only one thing I have to say in all of this anyway and I'm being dead serious about it."

Leon scooted closer to Adelene and gave her a tiny pat on the head. He didn't know how Allan would react and he sure as shit wasn't going near Eph for obvious reasons or Emman because he kind of made it all happen.

"If this makes things even more weird Adelene I apologize, but with what just happened....Well it's not easy for me either. I think you misheard me earlier, but now I think this might make things feel better for you. Adelene....Will this sounded better in my head. Uhh..."

Leon scratched the back of his head nervously while keeping his look on Adelene, and rustled her hair a bit with the other hand on her head. Taking a deep breath he focused for a moment and let out the breath.

"Adelene, I was wondering....Would you be my girlfriend?"

As soon as he said it Leon's face lite up just like the other two. He said it, it was done, and it was out int he open. He had no disrespect towards Allan if he did like Adelene. He didn't care if Eph was right. Leon just wanted to know if what the way he felt when Eph had kissed Adelene was the same as when Adelene saw Eph kissing him. If they both were jealous and want to do that themselves. All he could do now was wait and see what happened. And hope to fucking god he didn't cause Adelene.exe to crash.

Zen considered Lochlann's question seriously, but before she could answer, a woman with powerful Necromancer magic rose a hoard of zombies from the ground. That impressed her.

Her song didn't.

Under common.

She thought they were safe here.

She felt a cold wave of fear splash her in the face and chilling her bones, freezing her in place. Ardos heard the song too and quickly rose up from where he was sitting. He was afraid too, both of their paranoia were acting up, but he couldn't afford to freeze in place. He needed to get her out of there.

Ardos walked over to where they were sitting and pulled Zen into a hug, and then carried her in his arms. He looked at Lochlann with a grave expression.

"Excuse her. She's not feeling well."

"Wait!" Zen managed to pull herself together enough to look at Lochlann again, but her legs wouldn't move. "Lochlann, I'll see you again, right?"

Rosetta decided earlier that she needed to get out of her room and take a walk. Besides, she needed a bit of exercise and some fresh air. Nothing in particular caught her eye...until she came across a group of people in what seemed like a park.

Something appeared to be going on over there, so she decided to maybe meet a few people. She was new to Starlight Academy, and meeting some new faces was exactly what she wanted and needed.

She made her way towards the group and politely greeted them.

Adelene looked up at Leon when he got up and patted her. She had concern all over her eyes, wondering if he was really okay, but that slowly turned to confusion as he started talking about saying something and...

She blinked.

She thought her mind was short-circuiting and making her hear things, but she searched Leon's eyes and saw the way he looked at her...

She heard it right.

And oh god he seemed serious.

Adelene's eyes widened. She didn't know if it was even possible for her face to heat up more than it already has, but she could feel her body and her brain melting. Mostly it was her brain, though. It was giving up on her.

She couldn't even speak, she couldn't move, she was just staring up at Leon with that surprised look.

She knew she liked Leon. And she was glad Leon liked her too. But... she wasn't ready yet for such a relationship!

Allan was undoubtedly taken aback by Eph's accusation. Well, it was true that he did like Adelene but not in the way she was accusing him of. But even still he couldn't be angry. He had no reason to. More than that, he was even more embarrassed that two people were making it look like he had a crush on Adelene. He could already feel the rush of blood on his cheeks just by the idea crossing his mind.

"H-Hey I'm not jealous!! I'm sorry, she doesn't know what she's talking about. I wasn't being jealous, I swear. Sir, please help?"

"Hey, don't worry Adelene, I believe you there. Eph's already jumping to conclusions here!" he said, his accent slipping out. He was rather a bit defensive but that was as honest as he could get. Even he didn't like how this entire thing was going. He shot a momentary glare at Emman for actually letting Eph drink even more than she could handle before looking back to the other three.

He didn't really like how both Leon and Emman were so calm about this but he figured there wasn't much of a point to try and get them to care any more than they do. Or, more than they look like. It was bothering him, yes but what could he do? If he tried to rile them up, it might only make it worse for himself and he did not want to make this anymore awkward for Adelene. Though of course, Leon had other ideas.

"Dude, what the fuck." It came out of nowhere and those words were the only thing that tumbled out of his mouth as his reaction. Allan's words were unusually crisp and completely out of character. The flush color from his face was already gone by now. "Could you have picked a better time to make things even more awkward?" he snapped.

Allan was aware of his words, yes, and he was also aware that for most people that wouldn't be expected from him. But Allan didn't have enough patience left to zip his mouth. More than Adelene.exe crashing, right now was probably more like Allan.exe had encountered a huge error in this situation.

The lizard made like a cat and lay down on Adelene's admittedly mildly shaking lap. Eph's tail struck out, whapping Leon's chin. She hissed from her perch on Adelene, hunched over on all fours, tail raised and glaring daggers at Leon. "No! She's miiine! You - you'll have ta fight me for 'er, lad..." Her words were slurred, and now taking on a strangely terrible and racist Scottish accent.

Emman, still playing the silent observer, simply shrugged and pulled out a bottle of a different kind from her bag. Inside was a different swill that he put on the grass while waiting for his coconut liquor to run out. It was taking longer than expected as no one else was drinking, focusing entirely on the confused and frenzied drunken shenanigans unfolding.

Still smirking as Eph hissed and hissed, Emman handed the last cup of coconut wine to Allan. "O yan. Tangina kaya mo pala mag-tunog Pinoy eh... pakatorpe mo lang kasi. Kalma ka nga kasi, gago - kaw naman, asarin lang konti wala na, pikon na... Awatin ko ba? Kaawa ka na eh, hindi ng hindi pero la naniniwala." (There you go. Shit, you can actually sound Filipino if you tried... but you're too damn shy. Calm down, dammit - I tease you a bit and you're already getting so mad... Should I stop this? It's getting sad watching you deny this and having no one believe you.)

Eph meanwhile was hissing some more, slipping further and further into that racist event horizon of drunkenness. She swiped with her tail some more, swishing through the air. "Aye, back aff! Ye'r nae gonnae tooch er lay hans er lips oan mah sweit lassie while Ah draw breath, ye dobber! She is mine and ye kinnae have 'er! Th' most bootiful lassie in the warld is tay good fur ye an' me so back aff if ye dornt wanna feel mah wrath."

Leon continued to gaze at Adelene with his own beat red face with the same kindness in his eyes and face he always had. That was till Eph started claiming Adelene as hers, and the way Allan had reacted. He should have figured as much would happen and he felt bad for it. Maybe he shouldn't have even said it. It wasn't the best time sure. Hell it was a horrible time he wouldn't deny that. However he wasn't the type to sit back.

"I understand if it's too much Adelene. I...Fuck I think Allan hit it on the spot. Hell was I thinking."

Leon didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to act. He had said what he wanted to and that's all there was to it. He looked over at Allan then to Eph, feeling something in the back of his head ticking at what Eph was saying and doing. She was laying on Adelene's lap and claiming that Adelene belonged to her. Even if he hadn't of asked the question, Leon still would have told her to back off.

"Ya know it isn't your decision to make Eph. And just so you know if you had made that challenge in a more...Not drunk state of mind then I would have taken it as an actual challenge. I'd still refuse to fight. While Adelene would be worth it, I don't believe in fighting for someone's attention. All I'm going to say is keep your tail to yourself. I'll give you the freebie. I'm not going to get dragged into a fight with someone just because they decided to flip sides and suddenly go from being matchmaker to guard dog."

Leon glared at Eph with his eyes pretty much saying "Do it again, I dare you." His sword appeared sheathed in his lap to make it clear he wasn't going to play her game. She already violated everyone once. And that was one too many. His gaze returned to normal as he looked back at Adelene and tried to smile. Whether she would agree or not he didn't know. Would he be hurt? Perhaps. To Leon though he believed that it was something worth being hurt over. Regardless or the answer he just hoped they'd still be friends.

To be honest, Allan might have said things that Adelene herself would say if only she weren't technically in the center of this trouble, if only she weren't so struck and surprised, if only she could be more direct.

Eph hurting Leon with her tail was enough to bring some sense back to her though. She blinked again, and looked down on the lizard lady, staring at her judgingly. And then she clicked her tongue. A crispy 'tsk'. Before she tried to wriggle away from Eph for more free space.

She brought her right hand up, head level. She opened it, and her black crystal particles formed around it, taking a more solid form of a .45 caliber pistol later on. And then without much warning, she aimed it to the ground beside her and pulled the trigger five times.

Loud gunshots rang in the air five times, enough to startle everyone nearby.

The bullets were safely buried to the ground, no harm done, she just wanted to stop everyone from talking and moving, mostly Eph. And then she pushed her off her lap and stood up.

"Eph, listen," she said, shooting her a look, and giving Leon a worried one because she knew it probably hurt being whipped by a lizard tail. And then she grabbed Emman's new bottle and drank it all up in one go. Yes, the whole bottle. A little punishment for Mr. Trinidad for encouraging Eph's actions with more alcohol. And the she held out the empty bottle to her side, and then opened her palm to drop it. "Eph, don't drink if you can't stand straight after doing what I just did. Now," she pointed the gun at her. But it poofed into black dust again. "Get up, sit down, behave."

She didn't move for a few seconds. But after she thought she made her point, she turned back to Allan, giving him a pat because he was the only other person that made sense, before heading back to Leon and checking his chin. "Leon, calm down, okay? The girl's drunk helpless, she doesn't know what she's talking about. I'm not even as beautiful as she says." She shrugged. "Did it hurt when she hit you?"

Obviously though, she was avoiding his question.
