Michael followed her, he had no reason not to. She was a beautiful, fascinating woman, dead or not, he still felt attraction. "It's fascinating, anywhere else death is the end," he chuckled, "but here, it's just another door, to opened and closed," magic had interested him greatly, "just need the proper keys."

She leaned in toward him, her voice changing pitch, "fortune telling? Reading the future?" Michael's eyes sparkled with curiosity and he found himself leaning forward to, "yes, I'd love one." He couldn't say no to a chance to see magic at work, no matter the kind.

Overall this night had brought something out of Michael, his shyness had melted away, replaced with curiosity. Curiosity focused on this woman and whatever magic she had, with classic attraction thrown into the mix.

"Oh ho ho! Is somebody looking for a challenge?!" Hudson said laughing. "Yeah, I am down for..."

Before he could finish speaking though all hell broke loose, at least that is how it felt for him. Anything being said was a distant mutter to the college student at the moment as his eyes fixated on his raid stained over shirt.

"It's just juice, it is just juice, it has to be." he muttered over and over before looking up and noticing blood running down Rivers arm. "Shit... shit shit shit shit."

His face was starting to turn pale, sweat forming at his brow as he looked like a deer frozen in a set of headlights as his gave fixated on Rivers arm. When he finally was able to tear his attention away it was to a secondary voice making muttered sounds at him. Looking up in a state of panic he thought that he had finally found something else to focus on to hopefully ease himself out of his current situation, that was until he saw the blood pouring down her arm as well.

It might not have actually been that bad, but currently to Hudson it looked like a damn waterfall.

"Nonononononono," he started to mutter weakly, backing away from the two and knocking over an empty end table as he backed into the wall covering his face with his hands. "nononono... heh... hehe... heheheAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The laughter had started out slowly at first in a few short bursts before it eventually grew in both frequency and tone, though one thing about it was that at the end it was creepy as hell. Spreading the fingers on his hand he looked at the two standing there, a wide and sinister grin spreading across his face.

"Thanks for that, I never thought I would be let out to play."

Indeed, all hell broke loose.

The punch spill in itself was innocent: just some red stains on his shirt (by some, it was covered). Apparently, he considered it something more.

He appeared to go insane, throwing himself backwards and knocking over a table. He started laughing very eerily, practically maniacally. It was pretty creepy, needless to say. He seemed like an entirely different person now, but Celeste still had to ask.

"Are you okay?!" Celeste asked, moving towards him. She offered her not-injured hand to him to help him up, slightly reluctantly. He still had that maniacal grin on his face, after all.

Zeyn raised an eyebrow at her remark at his theatrics. Being the over dramatic creature he is, he did the only logical thing. He bowed even lower and with a solemn expression he said "I live to serve M'lady." He was only able to hold his expression for a few seconds before he began to laugh uncontrollably. "Sadly, being an indentured servant doesn't seem to pay well these days." He said with a content sigh.

Between the cannonball that had almost soaked his sweatshirt and sweatpants, to the random person who had nearly careened into Kendi, Zeyn had his hands full. However upon being asked if he had spare hair ties, he grinned and reached into the front pocket of his sweatshirt. He retrieved a hair tie and handed it to his newfound friend. "There ya be. I always carry spares as I'm likely to lose several of them per day." He said chuckling. "I dunno where I'd be without pockets." He took a moment to ponder the infinite uses of pockets before he continued. "I'd probably be lost honestly. They're just so useful." He said almost absentmindedly while fixing Kendi with a grin.

The blood drew River's eyes. He didn't exactly feed off blood in this phase, but it still reminded him he was hungry. At least the cut didn't look bad - it certainly could've been worse. Not that he cared if he accidentally injured someone - he wouldn't get in trouble since it had clearly been unintentional.

"Nope. My venom shouldn't be fatal..." He flexed his claws, then laughed showing off his sharp teeth as well. "Just kidding. There's no venom. And it looks like it was just a scratch."

River had been too distracted by the girl to pay much attention to the beer cap throwing guy, even after she spilled juice on him, but the half-demon managed to drag his eyes away from the cut when the guy started swearing.

"Yeah, it's just juice..." River had no problem distinguishing juice from blood, so he was very puzzled by the guy's extreme reaction. "Are you allergic?" It may have been a dumb question, but it was hard to think straight.

Then the stranger started backing away and River glanced back over his shoulder to see what was so terrifying. There was no one close, except the girl. And - she didn't look scary either. But you never knew on this island. "umm Do you know him or something?"

But before she could answer, something about the guy changed. Suddenly, this night was looking a whole lot more interesting, and River answered with a manic laugh of his own. "No problem. How do you wanna play?"

He watched the girl as she tried to help, still smirking. "He seems just fine to me."

"In a sense, yes," Amélie answered. Telling an accurate future was nearly impossible even with strong magic, but she knew a different variety of seeing fate - creating one from scratch.

"I can tell your fortune any which way you like. I can do so with a simple palm reading, I can do it through tarot cards... find me a quiet dark room and a crystal ball, I can tell one that way as well."

Amélie started to shifted towards the nearby door. She opened it, slinking away out of the main crowd of people and expecting Michael to follow. There were others in this hallway, many of them trying to enjoy a bit of quiet away from the main party. Others were already collected in their own trysts, wrapped in each other's arms and occupying their attention with no one but each other.

Suddenly, Amélie would take Michael's hand. She held it gently and continued to lead him down the hall. She turned to Michael after another turn of a corner. She whispered to him, "What do you desire most, right now? The first thing to come to you mind. I will tell you a fortune from that."

Her eyes fixated on Michael's. She leaned down to level them with him, at the same time leaning forward to trap Michael between herself and the wall behind him. He couldn't move back, and Amethyst was already close. If he wanted to disengage, there was always shuffling to the open side. The succubus smiled sweetly.

"Ah what a shame, though I would have to agree the pay would have been terrible." Kendi giggled again. "One of the major reasons I'm here is I'm jobless and due to lack of money I can't really pay for food right now."

After the cannonball had hit and everything happened quickly. Kendi was given a hair tie. "Thank you love. One day I might have a need for pockets but right now I barely have anything that requires pockets so it's no biggy. Just figured tieing my hair back would be a good change of pace." Smiling she began to pull back the majority of her hair into a low pony tail that trailed down between her shoulder blades.

"Now lets get some grub!" Kendi said with a warm happy simle as they finally reached the food table. Kendi pulled up a plate and began to load up on all the meat she could get her hands on. "Meat, meat meat. the glorious food. The more you eat the more you..." Kendi paused and looked around her. "I don't think there is anything that would be appropriate for meat that ryhmes with food..."

He'd slipped in quietly, his gray-silver eyes looking over everything as he moved into the party. James would be considered attractive by most, handsome face and a very athletic build, yes he was good looking. In truth it'd been a while since he'd been to party, but the last few months had been hard on him, so he was here to have fun and forget his problems for now.

Moving out to the lawn, he found himself at the food and drink table, he quickly found a beer and gave a small smile and nod to the others here. It was a nice party, and he intended to use everything here to forget his numerous problems. Tonight was about booze and fun, hopefully many different kinds of fun.

"Oh I am better then fine now that that stuck up flannel loving hick has finally slipped out and let me out!" the fact that, from what the others might see it as, was probably raising a few red flags. He didn't care. "As to what shall we play, well the night is young so let's see where it takes us."

Following this he gave the others a wink and that insane looking grin just oozed back into place.

"First of all let me introduce myself, though I don't technically have a name you can call me Red. It is part of a descriptive term that was given to me by the other one subconciously." He bowed deeply after introducing himself and then went on talking, as he seemed to love to do. "The one you previously had the displeasure of meeting was Hudson, he is the boring one."

Walking over to Celeste he grabbed one of her hands and held it tightly in his own.

"It has been ages since I have been let out, so long that Mr 'I'm afraid of blood and slightly crazy' finally let his guard down enough that your perfectly timed clumsiness lead to my release!" He bowed his head slightly and then let go of her hand. "Thank you. It has been, as previously stated, too long since I was able to stretch my legs and have fun."

Looking about the room Red finally saw exactly where they were. A party, full of people. This was glorious!

"And in a place crowed with people as well! Amazing! Excellent! PERFECTION! The last time this happened in such a crowded place it was so," he let his words hang in the air for a bit before settling on the right word to finish the statement, "entertaining."

They way he emphasized that last word seemed to imply that the only one it was entertaining for was for, and only for, himself.

((OOC STUFF: I promise I am not going to destroy the place, he is just a show off! Honest! >.>))

It was raising red flags for River, but they were the kind you'd see attached to balloons that said there's a party nearby. The half-demon was absolutely fascinated by this apparent split personality, even though at the moment Red seemed to be more talk than anything else. Then again, he supposed he'd enjoy the sound of his own voice too if he'd been stuck in someone's head.

"Red? That sounds like a story. But what makes you the more interesting one? All you've done so far is talk." River grinned unreservedly back at the guy, his sharp little teeth plainly visible. His needling was entirely friendly, although he wouldn't be upset if he provoked a fight. The half-demon was just as willing to take a chunk out of him as to do anything else. He'd probably be flirting if he thought Red was drunk enough to ignore his apparent youth.

"Wait - he's afraid of blood?" The laugh that came out of River's mouth was pure delight. He looked at the relatively minor scratch on the girl's arm and shook his head in disbelief, not even noticing that his arm was still bleeding as well. "That was nothing. I get more cut up than that in a fight. Hell, I'm sure I've done worse to myself when I - oh. I'm bleeding again, aren't I?"

River lifted up his arm to look at it, licked it clean like a cat, and then lowered it again. It was already stopped, and he wondered how afraid this Hudson guy was. "I'm assuming you're not afraid, then. But he must really be boring if he can't stand the sight of it - most fun activities have some risk - even sports."

Entertainment was exactly the reason the half-demon had come to this party - he just hoped this guy's idea of fun was more in line with his own. The way the other boy spoke made him think it just might be. Maybe he wouldn't have to get him drunk after all.
