Party in the MCI

Kendi had gotten word that there was going to be a party somewhere. At the moment with her haveing no job and with food being limited she figured a party right now. Slithering into the mansion Kendi was smiling and waving at people as she made her way towards the food. Picking up a plate full of meat bits Kendi was enjoying the atmosphere of the party.

Eventually after finishing the plate Kendi felt less hungry but she wanted to enjoy the water of the pool. Smiling she slithered into the water coiling her tail underneath her and she began to heat the water around her so she wouldn't be to much in danger of falling asleep. Putting her arms on the pool edge Kendi was smiling as she watched people go by. She was having fun simply being here watching people.

Amélie was hungry. It wasn't like to show up to a party on an empty 'stomach', but the cost of her evening gown but a strain on her. The deep red markings on her body, the tattoos of her mana, were starting to fade. If she didn't feed on a victim soon, she could very easily end up ruining the whole party, her dress, and whatever bening reputation she had with anyone. She'd rather not behave... uncivilized.

But as she approached the mansion, Amélie kept up a facade of haughty beauty. She wore a brand new dress made by a fellow demoness, a shimmering red gown that clung to Amélie's chest barely hanging on, and a sash around her waist for additional support. What 'straps' it had were simple loops near her elbows, leaving everything from the tip of her horns to the last few acceptable centimetres of her upper body bare. Amélie wore a beautiful smile to go with her dress and carefully styled hair, hiding a grating need to feed on any susceptible person she could find.

She carried a bag with her, containing a few small fortune-telling items such as tarot cards, small stones, even some incense. They didn't make her magic any stronger or better, but they were useful distractions for a client. And she figured she'd one soon, to get through the night and make a little coin.

Amélie tried to arrive as acceptably late as she could, opening the doors to a fairly full house and ready to steal the spotlight from them. She waltzed through the hall, nibbling on a few samples, and politely keeping conversation short until she had a feel for the house and a broad view of her potential victims.

Finally, after she poured a glass of wine, she prepared to strike... up conversation.

Zeyn was having a hard time adjusting, to say the least. He had only just arrived on the Island two days ago, and yet here he was. Attending a party of all things, all while he was barely moved in to his own apartment. "Well..at least they have a pool..right?" He thought ruefully to himself as he stumbled blindly through the throngs of people. Zeyn was still trying to wrap his head around the fact that demons were real, aliens existed, and God, well, God's weren't dead.

"Maybe I'm not so strange after all.." He muttered under his breath as he scanned the party. "This is certainly not the Morocco." He said to no one in particular. "I wonder what the drinking age here is.." He thought as he absentmindedly wove through a particularly rowdy knot of girls. "Well, no time like the present to find out!" He said to himself as he located a table simply bursting with booze.

He made a beeline for the table as quickly as he could. Taking care to not trip over anyone's feet..or tails....or wings.

Rumor was, there was a party going on, somewhere. Naturally, Celeste had to go.

She figured it was a.. different angle of getting used to the island. She could meet people and build a reputation, get known.. Even if it wasn't a particularly good reputation, there couldn't be any harm in going to a party. And so, Celeste was off.

She arrived at the alleged party place in completely casual wear: just a starry tee and jeans. She was here to have fun, after all, not go to prom.

She immediately went towards the grub. It was, of course, the first impression of the party. She absolutely filled her plate(s), and devoured it all. After that, she determined her next move. She could drink completely irresponsibly (not that she cared), swim and possibly pull off some Aquarius trick, or just talk to people, who would likely think her insane. Instead of deciding, she pulled out a sheet of paper with her horoscope on it (along with the other 11 Zodiac sign's).

"You may find it hard to relate to others verbally, Aquarius. You may have everything figured out in your head, but the words get in the way as soon as you share your ideas. Talking with someone else may add confusion instead of clarity to the situation. The other person's energy seems to affect your perceptions. Stay grounded despite your frustration."

Obviously, talking was out of the question. She didn't bring swim clothes, so her only option there would be to transform into a fish, which she couldn't hold for long. That left one option.

So, Celeste went for the drinks.

Amélie knew the party would have a bit of a young slant to it. Naturally, many younger kids were hovering around the drinks. Some boldly grabbed the first thing available to them, many others simply looked on as they tried to get over those last few scrupules of underage drinking. Not that Amélie had any keen interest in policing them. In fact, she'd much rather do the opposite.

One such seemingly young lad just happened to catch eye contact with her. Instead of looking away, as several teenage boys had a habit of doing around a lady, he stood his ground however shyly and smiled. Amélie always had a smile to her, and that much didn't change. She did, however, keep her eyes on him for just an extra second longer before turning away from him.

He'd be her first victim, she thought. Assuming he wasn't too immature and pathetic. He passed the first test, but now it was a matter of seeing if he could string together the signs and bite her lure.

Without a word, she started to walk away from the drinks table. She looked again, just briefly, back at the boy to see if he might follow. She wanted to see if he'd have the courage to initiate.

"Darling," Amélie would catch Celeste on the way to drinks. They did not know each other, but what was important was that Amélie could divert attention from between her and Michael.

"Beware the punch. It's spiked strong," Amélie smiled, perhaps even knowingly.

At first, Celeste was a bit concerned the woman would tell her off. Instead, she just told her about the punch. Guess nobody here cares about being underage huh? Awesome!, Celeste thought.

With an almost-too-quick 'thank you', Celeste continued on her way. It was almost a challenge getting to the drinks, as there were so many people in the way. It was a good party, all right.

Celeste finally made it to the crowded table. She then realized that she had no idea what to try.

"Beware the punch. It's spiked strong."

Being the insane demigod she was, Celeste, of course, got herself a cup of punch. It smelled pretty good to her, but she hadn't had much alcohol before, so she wasn't sure what to expect. She also wasn't sure whether or not to get drunk; she'd been warned of hangovers, so maybe not.

Aftereffects aside, Celeste took a drink of the punch. The woman wasn't kidding: the punch had one heck of a kick. Her eyes widened in surprise. It was powerful, but it was good. She took another drink. Tonight would be fun, for sure.

Hangovers aside.

This party was amazing was all Kendi could describe it as. There were a lot of people here though it seemed all of them wanted to stay over by the food and drinks instead of wanting to go for a swim. But that didn't bother Kendi as she liked to people watch, though her pale human skin on her upper body might attarct slight attention she was surprsied no one had come over to her asking about her pink hair and her cotton candy pink tail that was submerged in the water. Normally those were very big topics of converstion starters for strangers.

Though she supposed the exotic belly dancer garments she was wearing could also be topics of discussion. There were a lot of things that could happen to the naga girl but simply watching the variety of people walking about and what they would eat and what they would drink, though she was also thinking in her head that two people should kiss while another two people that were passing by would look great covered only in sheets. The naga girl smiled evily to herself while she thought these things. People watching was fun.

It was getting close to the full moon and River could feel his restless hunger growing with each day. He hadn't been on the island long, and he'd been resorting to hunting animals until he got a better idea of the inhabitants. Looking 14 made it hard to find prey, for more intimate feeding or straight up fights, even in this place where people often looked younger than their actual ages.

A party was perfect - he'd jumped at the opportunity. Get people drunk enough or surreptitiously drug them and they tended to be more willing to ignore how young he looked. And hopefully, the people attracted to a party wouldn't be too young to do things with.

River hadn't really dressed up - just wearing gray pants and a powder-blue t-shirt, showing off his lightly glowing skin. He wanted to be comfortable and it had sounded like a casual summer party. There was a deep gouge on the back of his right arm where he'd drugged himself before his arrival.

When he saw the pool, he smirked, knowing at least half that water was going to end up all over him by the end of the night. At least it seemed like most of the fun was going to be outside, so he wouldn't be dripping all over the floor. And he didn't really care if his clothes got wet, though he regretted that he hadn't brought anything to swim in.

Feeling great, the half-demon moved towards the drinks table. He didn't drink himself, and he was already high as a kite anyway, but where else was he going to find people to have fun with?
