Personality Description:
Maxim is surely and sarcastic almost all the time, though he does tend to take his job serious even if it does not always show. He has a rather strange sense of humour and finds things most wouldn't to be absolutely hilarious. He doesn't tend to put up with much stupidity though and if he thinks something is dumb he will voice his opinion on the matter, and then usually do it anyway if he was ordered to. Can speak Russian and English fairly well.
Active Abilities:
Shifting: Maxim can shift fully as well as partially into a wolf at will. Except, during full moon nights when he forcibly transforms and succumbs to his wolf side.
Tracking: Using a map, a photo of a person, and something they have come into physical contact with Mark can track people whether they want to be found or not. How well it works depends on a few key points. 1) The map. If it is a map of the world, he can get a country out of it. If it is of the country, he can get a province or state, one of the state would give a city, and a city map would give an exact location. 2) The picture must show the face (and only the person) and be in focus. The more recent the photo the better it works, as older ones can work but results can be off depending on how old said picture is. For best results the picture must have been taken within the past 2 years. 3) Using something they have touched works, but the results can sometimes be a little off. If the object was something they owned, it would work even better, and things like a lock of their hair or the like usually works with almost pin point accuracy.
While in theory this means that using a world map he could narrow it down enough, it would not be exact, only close approximation of the exact location. To narrow things down, he would need either a very detailed world map, or smaller and more detailed maps of the location. This would involve using the ability several times in a day, and in doing so, this would drain him of him of his energy. Therefore knowing a general location to start with would be a big help. If he over uses his ability he usually falls unconscious for a few hours, and if he tries to use it again right after waking up and not resting for at least half a day he has about a 50/50 chance of frying his brain.
Passive Abilities:
-Strength & Speed: In his human form Maxim can lift up to 3 times his own body weight, about 650kg, and run max. 60 mph, and in his wolf form he can run significantly faster (up to 80mph), and lift 5 times his weight.
-Heightened Senses - He has the senses of a wolf, enhanced sight, hearing, and sense of smell, as well as touch. Maxim can sense low vibrations like from an earthquake or a person approaching quietly. His skin is also slightly more durable than a humans. He does not bruise easily, and knife or razor cuts would be only half as deep as ones inflicted on a human's skin.
- Enhanced health - Maxim is immune to human diseases and most poisons (although wolfsbane is deadly to him). heals quickly from most cuts as long as they aren't deep or life-threatening. (1 to 3 hours for normal cuts and abrasions, longer for deeper wounds, possibly a full day, and broken bones 1 to 5 days depending on the type of break, for example, 5 days if it's a thigh bone, 3 for something like a foot, a finger, nose 1 day). Maxim also ages somewhat slower than a human.
Weaknesses:
Silver Allergy: When he comes into contact with silver he starts to get a rash on the touched area after a few minutes. After about 15 minutes of prolonged contact it starts to blister, and after a half hour it starts to spread. After an hour or two it can become debilitating and eventually fatal. So while a silver bullet or dagger would not instantly kill him if it was not removed and treated immediately the consequences could potentially be disastrous.

Background:
Maxim Alexander Zhukov was a son from a long line of soldiers. His father was a solider, his father's father was a solider, his father's father's father was one as well, and so on it went as far as anyone could remember. He was brought up on the stories of valour and glory, going up against an enemy that meant to take everything from you and your fellow countrymen and coming out victorious to defend your homeland! He loved these stories and everyone knew, even when he was so very young, that we would follow in the footsteps of his ancestors.
This was cemented in place when at a very young age they found out that he had the ability to find people, if they wanted to be found or not. His father helped him not only figure out his gift, but hone it to a state that would be reliable to use for combat purposes.
When he became a teenager he started to work on his physical skills, working his body into something that would be acceptable for a combat profession in hopes that the longer he had to shape his body the less likely it would be for it to fail him, all of this with the goal of following in his family's footsteps.
Sadly when he was 18 the dream seemed to fade away as the hard reality of military life settled in. It was not going to be as easy as he once hoped and the general atmosphere of the training caused to to take on the surely and sarcastic attitude of those around him. He did his best in his training and even afterwards while serving in the army. Eventually he made a name for himself by finding people that needed to be found and taking them out if nessecary, which lead to the next part of his career.
7 years after completing his training, being roughly 26 at this point, he became part of the 45th Guards Independent Spetsnaz Brigade. They were a special reconnaissance and special operations military unit within the Russian Airborne Troops. He received more training to better incorporate his talents into this new group for use in anti-terrorist operations. It was on his first mission, at the age of 28, to locate and neutralize a wanted terrorist that everything went horribly wrong.
After location their target with his gift they were dropped into the mountains where the hunt for him began, though unbeknownst to them they were the ones that were being hunted. The particular terrorist they were looking for was actually a werewolf who slaughtered the group and had left most of them for dead. Sadly Maxim was the only one who had survived, though at the time he wished that he had been killed.
He was found and brought back to a military hospital where he was tended for his wounds, that seemed to have started to heal faster then they should have. While it could not be explained they had no idea what had happened other then some sort of wild animal attacked him so he was discharged from the hospital and given some leave to sort his head out before going back to active duty.
It was during this time that Maxim experienced his first full moon, though even to this day he has no idea what actually happened that night except for brief flashes of anger, violence, and blood. What he does remember is waking up the next day surrounded by people he did not know looking down at him sadly. These people, the Volkov family, explained what had happened to him and what he now was and gave him a choice. Go on as he was now and eventually go mad and quiet possibly be killed, or work for them and be taught how to control himself and use his new found power in service of their family.
Maxim agreed to work for them and in a matter of days he was discharged from the military with no questions asked and was given the position of bodyguard and when the need for it arose enforcer. While he worked for Dimitri ,the father of the family, his primary duties were looking out for the son Malakais and hunting down and returning the daughter Rada when the need for it was present which he did faithfully for 8 years. This of course meant that when he was 36 and the two of them had been sent to the island that Maxim was sent with them to continue to do his job and report back anything that happened to Dimitri.
