Name: Prototype enforcement droid T-750-101, AKA Geo
Age: In operation for 4 earth years, appearance of a humanoid in their early to late twenties.
Birthday: 2455930.5 (January 4, 2012 by the Terran calendar)
Gender: Female
Species: Cybernetic Organism
Career: Ex-Law Enforcement turned Mercenary
Birth Place / Hometown: Andromeda Galaxy
Appearance Description:
Image commissioned from SA user Bijou
Her appearance is a mishmash of a bunch of different races, basically all the ones that had a hand in the project of her creation. Red-ish skin, black eyes with yellow iris, feline like features (most notably the pointed ears and her nose), some sort of ridge along the forehead, and black braided hair. While she wears her suit basically 24/7 underneath she has a slender athletic build, though she is far stronger then it would let on.
The suit itself is a darker colour with white or gray pieces taking up a good majority of it, yellow lights every here or there. The entire look of the suit just sort of screams “cop” to anyone familiar with it. She also carries a standard issue police blaster in a leg holster, though any identifying marks and serial numbers have been scratched off of it.
Personality Description:
Worst Memory: Being told she was being decommissioned and taken apart.
Best Memory: The first time she busted a smuggling operation
Likes: Strategy games, sports, being in zero g
Dislikes: Games that tend to lend more to chance then strategy.
Weaknesses: Extremely high voltage, EMPs.
Strengths: Being mostly a robot.
Fears: That the company that created her is still after her.
Habits/Hobbies: Chess, learning new games, reading, sports, marksmanship competitions.
Skills / Talents: Pretty good shot with a pistol.
Geo seems to be the sort that is all business and no fun, at least while on the job. When given a task she is single minded until it is completed, no matter what the costs. When she is off duty though she seems to unwind a bit though still seems pretty stern to those who do not know her. The only time she really seems to be enjoying herself is while playing some sort of sport, or even a strategy game of some type, but the only time she ACTUALLY is able to unwind fully is when she is alone at her own place. When in a working situation though she sometimes has a short temper that some of the other officers also seemed to develop by being over worked as their was a very low recruitment number in her sector.
She is polite to the people she doesn't know, but just barely, and indifferent or rather rude to those she dislikes. If you are paying her for a job though she is fiercely loyal to you until it is completed or the payment does not go through. Once the contract is over though her loyalty is up once again to the next highest bidder.
Powers:
Discovered when: When she came online.
Discovered how: Part of her programmed in training package.
How/Why they have it: All powers are technological in nature, part of the systems of the suit she wears. If she is not wearing the suit she does not get the benefit of the powers.
Active Abilities:
First active power system: Can create an energy shield that the user can use to try and absorb or deflect damage with. Two modes to it.
Mode 1 - Personal shield: A personal sized shield, and the stronger of the two, used to protect only herself. It can last at least an hour under ideal circumstance, though much short when under assault. About 20 minutes under light attack and anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes under heavy attack. Anything larger then an RPG or equivalent though would cause it to shatter in 5 minutes or less. Again this protects only herself though at the cost of potentially loosing all of her allies. Once used though it takes hours to recharge so it must be used wisely, unless it is hooked up to a recharge station which only takes 30 minutes.
Mode 2 - Bubble shield: This projects a bubble shield, centered at herself, with a 10 foot diameter. It can protect anyone inside of that range but is much weaker and does not last as long and takes damage much easier then the personal shield. Lasts up to, but not quiet, 30 minutes total. Under attack though it lasts up to 10 minutes in light attack, five under heavy, and maybe a minute or less under anything higher then an RPG or so. Once used it takes hours to recharge so must be used wisely, that is unless hooked up to a recharge station then it takes 30 minutes.
Second active power system: Standard issue galctic police blaster. It is effective but not totally over powered. Still deadly to the average being with little to no protection it does not have the stopping power to pierce the thicker skinned or more armoured types. Think of the stopping power of your average 9mm pistol, but make it a laser bolt instead of a metal projectile.
Passive Abilities:
Environmental resistances: As it is a space suit it gives the wearer a higher resistance to certain elemental/environmental factors (Must being wearing suit AND helmet to be effective):
Heat resistance: As most spacesuits it can withstand heat up to 121.11 Celsius (250 Fahrenheit). Can not survive indefinitely though as it lasts for approximately one hour in ideal situations before it starts to over heat and boil the wearer from the inside. The higher the temperature (basically closer to the 250 Fahrenheit mark) the faster this can happen.
Cold resistance: As most spacesuits it can withstand cold up to -156.67 Celsius (-250 Fahrenheit). Can not survive indefinitely though as it lasts for approximately one hour in ideal situations before it starts to shut down and the wearer begins to freeze. The lower the temperature (closer to the -250 Fahrenheit mark) the quicker this happens.
Vacuum resistance: Allows the wearer to survive in the vacuum of space for a limited time. Last approximately 30 minutes before the suit runs out of oxygen and the wearer suffocates. Can be extended with an additional oxygen tank but makes the suit rather bulky and hard to maneuver in.
Strength– Enhanced strength making her stronger then the average biological. On Earth for example the world dead-lift record is 1180lbs, she can lift double that at 2360lbs (roughly one ton if not just a little bit over). The more weight she lifts though the more it takes from her reserves and the sooner she needs to recharge. Also the closer she gets to the max weight, the more likely it is she will damage the organic components of her system. At max this is inevitable, though it would take a bit of time constantly holding the weight. If she tries to surpass it though the damage starts almost instantaneously and keeps getting worse the longer she tries.
Reflexes – can react to situations faster then the average person by mere seconds. Something that would take a person a few seconds to react to would be almost instant for her. The downside is that this also means there is too much information being brought it and she can sometimes be overstimulated and would need to take a break.
Regeneration - Small wounds like bullet holes, blaster burns, and cuts and slashes would regenerate themselves within minutes, sometimes longer, depending on the severity. For more substantial damage to her organic components it could take anywhere from an hour to half a day to repair, putting her out of commission while the work was being done. A total body (75% damage total) repair would take 24 hours. Anything more then 75% damage would require a complete organic replacement, though while possible would take a more detailed set up then what she has as well as at least three days work.
Enhanced Vision: Thanks to the fact that her eyes are not completely organic she has better vision then a normal person. She has 20/2 vision, meaning she can see at 20 feet what a normal person can at 2. It also has a dark light vision mode, where she can see with almost no light, but it lasts for only 5 minutes at a time with a 20 minute recharge.
Weaknesses: EMPs can cause her internal systems to shut down, basically rendering her unconscious for hours. She is also very suscepitable to large amounts of electricity, and she can sufer damage if she ever comes into contact with very high voltages, possibly even shut down permanently.
Resources:
-limited monetary resources that will need to be replenished. (She needs a job to survive).
- Sleeps wherever she can at the moment.
Biography:
Prototype enforcement droid T-750-101 was brought online on 2455930.5 (January 4, 2012 by the Terran calendar) and immediately put into service as a law enforcement officer as part of a large scale project invested in by a few galactic civilizations as a means to supplement, and possibly replace, their law enforcement departments with a more reliable officer. One that would be loyal to the department and who would surpass most of the purely biological officers in every department.
She is a completely sentient AI programmed into a cybernetic organism, a metal endoskeleton bonded with living tissue and organs. The first thing she did when becoming self aware was to pick a name as her official designation would be a mouthful and easily become tiresome to repeat over and over. Using the knowledge of multiple alphabetic systems programed into her she used the Terran alphabet to pick her name. Using the first three digits of her serial number she picked the name Geo; G = the seventh character, E being fifth, and finally o being the closest to 0 to finish it off.
She went into service as part of the Andromeda galaxy patrol, as that is where the station/factory she was created in was based, as a test of her potential. If all went well more would be created and then distributed across the combined sectors of all who participated in the project.
From day one of operation everyone could tell that her programming made her very single minded in her task as she tended to cause a lot of property damage when apprehending her assigned target. Also after a while they noticed that she seemed to be evolving, all the programmed emotional response were becoming more and more genuine, as well as the fact she started to get a temper problem, having what they referred to as a “very short fuse”. She was also not as loyal as they wanted her to be, by that they meant she would not follow every single order given to her. If it was what she termed 'too stupid' or would put her too far into danger should would ignore it, or find her own way of doing things. Overtime she seemed to grow a sort of disdain for the bureaucracy of the way the system was running and became rather jaded.
Three years of service to the patrol they deemed the project to be a failure and announced that she was to be decommissioned, basically she was going to be thrown to the scrap heap. With only her standard issue suit and blaster Geo made a run for it, escaping her creators and turned over to mercenary work as a means for survival. Working with the underground also made the most sense as it would gain her access to the computers and machinery that would be required for her to keep on existing., two very important ones to be exact.
The first was her recharge station, and the second was the dermal regeneration machine. She worked any and every job, short of assassinations, to be able to scrounge up the cash to purchase these. Once they were procured she decided she could be a bit more picky about her work.
Eventually she found work with the crew of a ship called "Queen Aurora II"
Captained by someone who called themselves Coid. She stayed on after a few jobs, even though she found Coid to be rather annoying and some of the other crew members rather unlikeable, and was pondering if she should leave or not. She was made an offer to hire on basically full time and she decided that a job was a job and took it as a long term gig and has been with the crew now for a couple months.
All of that seems to be in the past though as she now wanders the island, trying to find herself a place and a more secure means of survival. Has also recently found out that she has a sort of daughter as well that she has no idea what to make of.
Additional Info:
Does she Sleep?
Technically no, but she does require at least 6 hours recharging a night, plugged into her recharge station.
Does she eat?
Yes! While the cybernetic parts and the endoskeleton can survive off only the recharging station the organic components require some sort of nutritional substances to keep them healthy. The good thing is though she does not require a large amount of it and can survive off the equivalent of one jar of a nutritional supplement, very similar to baby food really, per meal.
Why the organic layer?
This was done to put more of a “friendly face” on the officers, no one wants a cold metal face with glowing eyes greeting them at every traffic stop! It was also added for potential infiltration operations later one, as a cursory medical scan would show her as completely organic and only something that when more in depth would show what really lays beneath. As her systems evolved though she started to realize she could feel pain, pleasure, and everything else that a normal biological being could which made her to act very differently then what they originally intended.
Are there more?
Unknown. While many of the factories had been set up and potentially many more prototypes (at least another 100) may have been made their status is currently unknown and all records regarding the project were sealed. Many of these though may have been failed prototypes so if more exist then the number is probably very low.
What does her serial number stand for?
T (Standing for Terminus, the company that made her) 750 (model/make number) 101 (Production number, the hundred and first to be made).
Wait a minute, she is a robot! Why does she need to breath?! It is true that the endoskeleton and all her cybernetic parts can operate without oxygen and the like she does need to take in oxygen though to keep the organic parts healthy.
