Her celestial guardian form is thematically based on the day her parents were murdered but appears vampire. Her hair and eyes turn a fiery red, and her skin becomes a deathly pale. She wears a red and black plaid miniskirt with white crosses. She has a black, low-cut blouse with a red tie. She grows small, black, bat wings and two fangs. She wears black boots with black stockings and garter belts.
Personality Description: Mia is generally quiet with severe anger issues. She will do anything to protect those she cares about, but she does not open her up to many people. She has a tendency to bully those weaker than herself. She blames herself and her sister for what happened to her, and deals with guilt and anger.
Passive Ability when not in Guardian Form: Aggression Aura – Everyone within 25’ feel more aggressive and angry. Not necessarily directed at Mia. Only when not in Guardian form.
Abilities in Guardian Form:
Active Abilities: Transformation - All Guardians are capable to transform into another form. They can only use their Guardian abilities and passives in this form and have no access to any of their original powers. When in their natural form, they cannot use any of these powers. This form can have different colored hair, skin and eyes from their natural form. They also are dressed in some kind of fancy clothing, and their overall appearance is always a play off of some kind of theme (food, music, art, hobby, concepts). They may also have some kind of additional appendage (cat ears, fairy wings, etc), though these are not considered buffs.
Weapon Summoning – Ability to summon a kitchen knife at will when in Guardian form.
Unrecognizable - When transformed, they are unrecognizable from their natural form upon meeting.
Peak Form - Guardians have heightened reflexes and agility, though it never surpasses the peak of human limitations and is only a few degrees greater than what they're already capable of in their natural form. Guardians feel full of energy when in their Guardian form.
Tough - They are more durable than the average human, their bones are less likely to break and their wounds are less likely to be severe in natural. A fall from the top of a building will hurt them but will not critically injure them. If they are sick or disabled in their human form, their Guardian form is completely free of such complications.
Guardian Sense - All Guardians can sense the presence of other Guardians when in Guardian form within a 50 foot radius, though not exact coordinates or direction. This helps them maintain territories. They can also sense whether someone/something is an evildoer/abomination upon meeting them. If a Guardian is to be culled, Guardians have an enhanced ability to sense that they are a Marked Guardian in either form.
Regeneration – Mia’s weak power when in Guardian form. She can heal any injury at twice the speed of a normal human.
Weaknesses: Silenced - Guardians are physically unable to speak, write, sign, or communicate in any way the purpose of the Celestial Guardians (in both forms)
Exhaustion - Being in Guardian form is extremely exhausting and can only be maintained a few hours a day. After transforming and being back in their natural form, extreme exhaustion hits them, and they are very likely to completely black out and sleep for up to 24 hours unless disturbed. Your character will need a very loud alarm clock to wake up.
Narcolepsy - All Guardians have a case of narcolepsy when in their natural form and are very likely to frequently pass out, experience exhaustion or have a cataplexy attack.
Transformation... Sequence? - Guardians cannot enter their Guardian form without going through a magical transformation sequence. This leaves them vulnerable for at LEAST 40 seconds while they transform.
Common Magical Items: Enforced Nullification Bracelet: This nullification bracelet naturally disables Mia’s Aggression Aura, but does not affect Celestial Guardian abilities. This type of bracelet is provided for those who must wear a mandatory bracelet, either as part of parole or any other reason. This type of bracelet cannot be removed by the wearer.

Mia was born as a normal human with a sister 4 years older than her, Agnes, and a brother 1 year younger. Her parents fought a lot, sometimes even getting physical, both with each other, and her older sister. They would occasionally hit Mia as well, but every time, Agnes would stop them and take their blows. At the time, Mia loved Agnes, and looked up to her as her protector.
One night when Mia was 11, Agnes ran away from home without saying anything. Mia thought that Agnes got sick of having to protect her and abandoned her. Without Agnes to protect her, they started abusing hitting her and her brother. Mia took the role of Agnes, and protected her brother, but for some reason they would hit her much longer than they ever hit Agnes. One night her father went into Mia’s room and sexually abused her. This went on nightly for over a year without her mother saying anything. Mia blamed Agnes for abandoning her, and herself for not being able to stop him, more than she blamed her own father.
Eventually, Mia’s mother finally stood up for Mia and told her father to stop abusing her. This started their worse fight ever, with Mia’s mother threatening to leave with the kids if he ever touched Mia again. Mia’s father stabbed her mother with a kitchen knife and Mia was forced to barricade herself and her brother in a room. Mia thought she was going to die, but then she heard her father scream in pain and terror. She opened the door, and saw a monster that looked like her sister, biting into her father killing him. Mia closed the door and waited until the police arrived and told them everything.
She placed in foster care and separated from her brother. Without anyone to protect, Mia felt like she no longer had a purpose. She was placed with a nice catholic family, but as soon as she was placed with them they started getting angry at her. Eventually they started beating her, just like her original parents. Mia could not go through this again, and without any real purpose in life, she attempted suicide. When she woke up in the hospital, their were two of the Academy’s Scouts who picked Mia up based on her dangerous aura. They placed her in mandatory therapy and forced her to wear a bracelet to seal her power. Mia still felt powerless, and barely cared to live her life, until she was pulled into a void and a voice spoke to her. It gave Mia a chance to protect others from having to go through what she had been through. She gladly took it and became Celestial Guardian Countess Shadow.
