Hi, I'm new and terrified

I think the title says it all. Hello to y'all, I'm EmiRose. I came here because this RPG was recommended to me by a friend. It's so huge it's scary but I really like the idea and I guess this place being huge has it's perks. At least I won't get bored XD
So, I'm from Finland and I turn 20 this year. I'm sometimes awkward but mostly I'm weird and talk too much. I apologize a lot and I hope you won't get too annoyed with that.
I tend to write long posts and I try to answer to posts immediately. Right now in my life I don't have much to do so O can dedicate myself to RPGing.
Again, nice to be here. Feel welcome to play with me and my nymph Varvara! :D

Greetings EmiRose!

Awesome to have someone as far away and exotic as Finland to join us :D That being said we get people from all over the planet so don't feel that your an outcast or anything. Join a new site (especially one with a lot of unfamiliar people) can be scary but I think that it can also be exciting to people so many different people bringing with them their own ideas!

A few tips for just starting out, don't be afraid to take initiative and reach out to your fellow members with RP ideas. Lots of people here will eagerly hop onto potentials plots. Good places to get those plots out is to start an Open thread, check out the Wanted Ads, or visit the other player's plotters and posting an idea for your characters. Also your more than welcome to join us in the Chatbox below! We are a chatty bunch and its a good way to get to know people OCCly. And don't let your fear of awkwardness hold you back, ever are all very accepting others and understand when mistakes are made. We are only human after all.

Its good that your dedicated to making posts in a snappy manner but keep in mind that not everyone has to free time to make replies quickly. Some people might take a few days or even weeks to get back to a thread. So remember to be patient and only prod people to remind them of a thread they need to post in when its been more than a week.

Anyway, that is all for my tips and I hope you find them helpful! If you need anything your always welcome to PM or my fellow staff members. If you ever need someone to RP to get yourself started with your new character Varvara I am more than happy oblige with a few of my own characters! Lmao, a lot of the people I tried getting into SA were always intimidated with the size of the site but I assure you, like Kada said, we're all pretty chill here and it's pretty smooth to get into the setting once you figure out the basics! The rest of the you can pick up along the way~
