It wasn’t even necessary to get in front of the cute bakery to notice the sweet smell of the freshly bakes cupcakes that could be seen through the glass, resting inside the shop. You could find whatever kind of cupcakes you could think of, from the traditional chocolate and vanilla, to fairly exotic and fancy ones. The designs were always colorful and there weren’t two cupcakes that were the same.
On the back of the shop you could see the counter, full of other kinds of baked goods, and right behind it several machines for coffee, milk, hot chocolate and other kinds of drinks, plus a special machine that gave the month’s specials, in this case drinks related to Christmas and all this stuff. Even the whole place had been carefully decorated so it was fitting with the festivities.
On the counter, with a cheshire cat smile, was sitting the owner of the place.
Oliver looked at his shop, puffing out his chest with pride and the tail elegantly wrapped around his paws. He had his usual blue bowtie on, alongside with a red Santa hat and sweater. If it wasn’t for his constant movements and breathing he could be easily mistaken for a cute Christmas themed cat plushie.
He wasn’t that famous just yet, so he wasn’t surprised if a customer started to search for someone on the counter for whatever reason and were startled when he politely greeted them and introduced himself. Actually it was kind of amusing to not say the least, given how many unusual thigs could be found around Manta Carlos, a talking cat shouldn’t be that much of a surprise.
