Danny has pale skin, along with light grey eyes. His hair is dark brown and rather long, but he keeps it tied back in a loose ponytail. He has glasses, the right lens of which are cracked slightly. He has a few freckles dotting his face, around the bridge of his nose and his cheeks. He usually wears a black zip-up hoodie over a black t-shirt with a parody of the starbucks logo on it. He also wears dirty cargo pants, with big pockets on the side, usually with a book or two inside them. Along with that, he has a pair of worn purple Adidas hightops.
Danny is on the taller side, standing at 6'1". He walks slowly, usually reading a book at the same time. He has a pretty decent sense of presence if he's re-reading something, but he gets really engrossed in new books and is more likely to bump into people as he's walking.
Personality Description: Danny is quiet, not usually one to confront others. He's more interested in reading his books. If someone speaks to him directly, he will generally respond as succiently as possible. He is very protective of his books, and doesn't like using his ability too much since it would cause damage to the texts. One easy way to make him angry is to purposely damage a book near him, especially if it's a sci-fi or a fantasy novel.
He's very much a loner, content to sit in the back and read, but if you are able to start up a conversation with him, he opens up quickly. He adores talking about the possible applications of technology, especially examples where he can use his powers to prove a point. He also loves Jurassic Park, and he lights up like a firework when he gets a chance to discuss the novel with someone.

Powers:
Major Power: Libriomancy
Using his ability, Danny can physically reach into books and pull things out of them. The items he pulls out function identically to how they would function in the text they came from. (Ergo, A lightsaber would function as a lightsaber, a health potion as a health potion). His powers work by using the collective suspension of disbelief and imagination by everybody who reads the book he decides to use. Once he pulls something out of a text, the page it was on becomes blank. Constantly using the same book will destroy it, the book burning from the magic used to sustain Dan's powers. Dan does not like to do that, so he generally uses his ability pretty sparingly. There are several limitations on his powers however. If Dan tries to pull something out of a book he isn't familliar with, it uses a lot more energy and takes a lot more concentration. The more familliar Dan is with a text, the easier it is for him to pull something out of the pages. The item also must be able to fit through the pages of the book. There are also certain books that are completely locked to his powers. Mostly Religious texts and books that have 'unstoppable' viruses. Generally, he shouldn't pull things that are alive out of books, as they generally refuse to return to the book.
Biography: Danny's life was pretty average for the first half of his life. His parents were also libriomancers, and were pleased to see their son was one as well, beginning his training at the standard age of Eight. A few years later, there was an accident during Danny's training. Danny doesn't remember it very well, but all he knows is that he woke up in the hospital, his families home burned to a crisp. He continued his training on his own, using what he remembered from the only thing that survived the fire at his home, his fathers journal. He continued to study from the journal, and retreated into fiction novels, both sci-fi and fantasy. He took to having at least one novel on him at all times, since trouble seemed to gravitate to him. He recieved an invitation one day to come to this special school on an island he'd never heard of before. He decided to accept the offer. Couldn't mean more trouble for him...
