Silje approached the pacting location she'd been referred to, curiously eyeing the table and the instructions there before smiling and ringing the bell once. She hummed out a pleasant tune as she waited, excited to get involved in this.

SIlje's smile brightened at the appearance of the proctor before her, and she nodded enthusiastically with an accompanying thumbs up. "Ah, yes! Absolutely I'm ready, and good afternoon to you~" She held up a finger and dug in her bag for a moment before producing a small baggy of salted caramels and holding them out to him. "I figured that you may enjoy something like this as thanks for working so hard on this tournament for us~"

Cornelius Choróin

Cornelius stared for a moment. His gaze went from the caramels to the girl's face and back. After a moment, he tentatively accepted the bundle. "Thank you," he said warily, looking as if he weren't sure. "I suppose we can begin now."

He called upon the magic, letting it flow around him as he ignored the newcomer momentarily. Only when the pact magic had settled did he turn to the person.

"Hello," he said blandly. "Are you prepared to make your pact?"

Evan really wasn't sure what to make of the competition. Not at all. The whole thing sounded sketchy as all fuck, but it wasn't as if he was much of a stranger to sketchy.

And a bell sitting in the middle of a clearing, with some kid having just swooped down and run it?

That was even sketchier.

"You hear for the tournament thing?" Evan called out as he approached.
