That didn't stop him from being nervous though, standing alone in a classroom. No matter how many times he told himself it would be fine, he was still nervous.

He didn't talk about being dead very often. It made people uncomfortable. He'd purposefully picked a meeting time during the day, so that he would look human, but he'd also tried to do everything he could to make sure it went well. He'd picked an empty classroom. He'd given everyone who had shown interest plenty of notice. And he'd shown up a full hour early, just in case someone got the time wrong.

No one had, but it hadn't hurt to be prepared, and with no other classes that day, he had nowhere else to be. He wasn't sure if anyone was even going to show up aside from Pario, but... well, he was hopeful.

@Thoth

Iridian arrived about five minutes before the meeting was supposed to start. She hadn't expected anybody to be there already but... she did want to meet others with similar powers to her. Or dead people. They were preferable. Less judgemental, and less likely to harm her. Or worse.

A club that sparked interest with her had finally arrived, and she wanted to make a good impression. So when she came in, silent, and thoughtful of what was to come, she had not even notice Makara at first. And when she did, she felt a bit mean for not noticing sooner. Which was when she looked up from her shoes. "Oh. Hello. I didn't see you there." She should've known, but it wasn't something she did every day.

The first thing she noticed was he was definitely dead. No questioning it. If she could've recognised the dead anyway, she still would have known. Ghost? Check. This would be fun. She hoped. Second of all, she was pretty sure he was a little old to be a student. Maybe a teacher? A supervisor? "Sorry... I'm a bit early."

'What a great first impression,' she sighed sarcastically to herself.

He didn't know who was who. So he kept his neat little list tucked in one pocket, content to mentally check them off as they arrived.

A girl was the first to arrive - a highschool student by the looks of her, who looked average enough. She was almost half a foot taller than him, but he'd long ago resigned himself to that fate. Everyone was taller than him. Even children who weren't fully grown were often his height or higher.

For a moment, he wondered if it might not have been better to meet at night. Then there would be no question about what specific kind of dead he was. But he supposed he could always volunteer that information later, if it became an issue. Possibly some of the more necromantic side of the club would be able to tell anyway.

He shifted off the desk he'd been leaning against, standing up before giving her a little bow. "Welcome. There's no need to worry - I expected some might show up early." It was a fine enough first impression. "I'm the faculty advisor, Makara Som." American style, just to try and avoid as much confusion as possible.

Running to the room of their meeting, he had been running late by the fact that he had to go back to his room to drop off everything he had, so that he wouldn't be slowed down by books and extra luggage. As he entered the room panting, he looked around, seeing Makara, which made him smile. 'Oh good, the dead guy actually showed up.' He hears Acellyn say in his head, which makes him sigh loudly. Looking around, he saw another person in the room, which made him smile even more. "Sorry I'm late, I wanted to be here early but..." He say, trailing off as he sees Acellyn circle the new person. Walking over and standing beside Makara, he kept his eyes on the girl. "Well at least one person showed so far." He whispered to him.

Iridian offered her hand, but Makara seemed to want to bow instead, so she drew back and returned the favour with a bow of her own. "My name is Iridian." She didn't try to press anymore information, knowing that things would slip out. This time she wasn't going to mess up with a ghost and ask if they ever planned on moving on. She'd learnt that lesson already. It was a touchy subject, and one she now planned on avoiding, so instead, she asked another question, "Are you a teacher as well? I don't think we've met."

@Thoth

Before an answer was given to her unnecessary question, a taller male ran inside, breathing hard. She stayed where she was, finding no reason to approach him or Makara. Instead, she watched him, wondering what his connection was. He wasn't dead. But there was something. Unlike the normal dead, she couldn't see it, but she know it was there. It made a cold hand of a shiver claw down her back. Maybe this was a bad idea.

Mentally he checked off the name on his list. The first of the prospective students. There were at least two other names on the list, and he foolishly had assumed they were all students, even if he didn't know for sure.

Pario's arrival interupted his almost-answer, and he gave the boy a very small smile.

"This is Pario, our club leader." He said, giving him a little gesture. A college student, which meant they had everything but elementary already represented. He suspected there would be few, if any, elementary students. That was a bit early for necromancy to start showing up, and ghost children were thankfully rare.

"Yes, I'm a teacher. I also work as an advisor for undead students." It was useful to have at least one person on the staff who could sympathize and understand all the issues that came with being dead. "I teach Khmer." And nothing else, which meant he did very little actual teaching.

"Hello, Pario." She gave the name a few moments of thought, storing it for future reference. "I'm Iridian," she repeated her name again, wondering how many people she would have to say that to in the club. Club leader... so, had he founded the club? She hadn't seen it advertised, so she assumed it was new. New-ish.

When Makara said he taught Khmer as well as being an advisor, she was a little surprised. Mostly because she didn't know Khmer was even a class. She knew it was a language, but not the country of which it belongs to. Somewhere Asian, maybe. But an advisor was more known, though she never knew they were specialised to different types of people. It was good. Many ghosts were what people would call troubled. "That's interesting."

Gloria Eugenia Sandoval

Though Gloria had put her name down on the mailing list for the Undead Club, she had not really expected much at all. It had been done simply for curiosity's sake, because to be honest, it felt positively right to have such an organization around and she did feel like it was strange nobody had thought of doing so before. It was a pleasant surprise, then, to actually see activity. Going to the first meeting, she was already late, perhaps, but on the way, Gloria had been distracted by a particularly neglected flowerbed. Autumn truly was a lovely season.

She entered partway through a conversation, it seemed. Taking a moment, Gloria did a quick, internal inventory of the sort of people who were present. Only three so far, two students and the faculty adviser. Well, she always did prefer smaller groups anyways.

"Pardon me," she said, smiling calmly. "I am here for a club meeting. This would be the right room, correct?"

Waving to the girl as she introduced herself, it was good to know that the girl was at least polite enough to say hi. "Pretty name." He said as he looked at her. As he looked at her, she didn't seem dead, but then again it was a bit harder to spot in the daytime. Of course, considering that she had come to this cub meeting, she had something to do with the undead. Maybe she was a necromancer or a sorcerer of sorts, though Pario decided he would leave the important questions to Makara. Seeing someone out of the corner of his eye, he smiled. "Yes yes! Welcome." He motioned her to come into their conversation, excited that someone else had joined in. "I am Pario, the club leader." He said as he nodded to her. As he nodded, he turned his head in the direction of Makara, as if to signal that he was the next person to introduce themselves.

"Thank you, I like your name." Iridian decided to put one of the many lessons her grandfather taught to use- throw the compliment back. Turning at a new voice, she noticed a tall woman. Young, maybe her twenties. Maybe dead. She didn't seem to... feel dead, but the skill was not yet mastered and only time could teach. Practise makes perfect.

She smiled at the woman, but was unsure on whether to speak or not, when Pario seemingly rescued her by introducing himself and staring at Makara. It was not her turn, and, honestly, she didn't mind.
