The day was nice and warm as Dyshelle was everywhere at once in her shop, making sure that it always looked in tip-top shape. Muffler had decided to take the day off, which she didn't blame the cat for. She'd worked hard all week while she was at the school, so it was all the witch could do to catch up on keeping everything nice and tidy, which was the only place her fluffy familiar couldn't really help her.
Which, again, was fine. She wasn't expecting a cat to be able to dust of shelves and and such.
Finally finishing with that, she started waving her spoon around to shuffle the decor of her interior until it went ever-so nicely with her dress--a lovely mint green affair with a satin bow and a wide skirt, as always. The Sweets Witch scooped up her cat and shooed her into the back room.
Muffler threw a few less than savory expletives her way.
The woman gasped. "How rude. I should have you declawed for that missy!"
Dyshelle swept about, making sure the floor was nice and shiny. Of course, using magic was an option, but she always got a certain satisfaction from cleaning up her shop with her own two delicate beautiful hands. The blisters were marks of love.
She wiped her forehead and looked around appreciatively before moving behind the counter. Muffler had already made her deliveries to the Nices--today was Apparition Apple Crumble, one of her favorites--so she struck it off her list. Turning to the blackboard she waved her spoon and chalk began to write in a neat, cute print:
Today's Menu
Clock Cookies
Beast's Bread Pudding
Telepath's Turnover
Ethereal Eclair
Quick Bread
Siren's Strudel
Also offering nonmagical versions of all items!
"There!" She said, checking her stock against the blackboard, just to make sure everything was properly accounted for. She didn't want to be cause unaware!
