It was a bit weird having to put up posters around the school by herself. Yes, she could have asked someone to help her, but she really didn't want to burden more people with her petty tasks. This time, Sherry could definitely do it on her own- if it weren't for the mass amount she was carrying around. Having close to 60 posters on her somehow, she could barely move a step without dropping one or not being able to see where she was going. Of course, she hadn't planned this out very well. With a tired huff, she dropped htem all to the ground, disappointed.

Nerys Milburga Ó hÍceadha

She took to the hallways like a ghost, sticking by the shadows cast by the afternoon sun. Now that the seasons were changing, Nerys found that it was slightly more bearable to stand in the sunlight, though she still greatly preferred the shade. There were splashes of brightly colored papers on the walls, advertisements for various school council candidates. After a day or so of seeing them appear, she still could not tell if she thought them charmingly intrusive or simply an eyesore.

As she passed by a student carrying a stack of papers, Nerys noticed a few drift to the ground. Another step forward and the corner of one was snagged under her foot. Pausing for a moment to scan it, she was distracted by a sigh the sound of something moderately heavy and not so soft hit the ground. Turning, she found that student with a messy heap of papers at her feet.

Wondering if she was supposed to do something besides simply walk away, Nerys blinked at the scene for several precious moments. They made eye contact. She looked glanced slightly away, uneasy, and bent to pick up the paper under her foot. Then, walking over to the student, Nerys held it out to her silently.

There was a witness, oh no. Not that it really mattered that someone had watched her lazily drop everything, but it was just... Weird. She blinked at her, unsure of everything that was happening at that moment. The person looked kinda creepy, unearthly. When the papers were picked up from her feet, she helped too and grabbed them all up again, this time in a better order. "Oh, thank you so much!" Her smile returned, wanting to thank the girl, but her hands were kind of full.

Instinctively, Nerys was already edging way. However, she halted awkwardly at the person's brief thanks, faintly startled by the acknowledgement. She stared, blinking at the girl's unfamiliar smile.

"You are welcome," Nerys managed slowly, voice a bit grated from disuse. Social conventions exchanged and done, she shied away from the brightness that was activity, intent on returning to the fringes once more.
