![]() Sariah is a woman of apparent French descent. Noticeably, she has a French accent that she's never bothered lessening or hiding. Sariah is quite proud of her heritage. Her skin is on the lighter side, with tan and rosy undertones. Her face is distinctly heart-shaped, with high cheekbones, slanted, sharp eyes, and a pointed nose with a deep-set bridge. Standing in at five seven and weighing in at one hundred and one pounds, she is of average height and weight. Her eyes are close-set and a very mild blue, bordering gray most of the time. They pair well with her long, light blond hair. Her hair reaches just below her shoulders and has a natural curl to it, making it unruly when wet or wind struck. Her stomach is almost flat, though not particularly muscled, and her chest is on the slightly larger side of average. Her curves are defined, and her legs are shapely, along with her rear. Sariah has a preference for French styles and branding, along with shorts, or colored paints, and light tones shirts. She wears earrings or bracelets and flat shoes. She'd rather wear casual and practical clothing than dresses, but on special occasions, she still dons her fancier dress. Her ears are pierced all along the cartilage, and she has the tendency to wear multiple bracelets at once on one arm. She sticks to a light spring aesthetic, with pastel colorings that match best with her coloration. Her usual style of clothing is neither modest nor risque, but somewhere in between. She dresses more toward stylish comfort, a girl-next-door style of dress. Usually, Sari tries to hide her fangs, but that's near impossible, with them being her canines. All her teeth are a little sharper than average, but her canines are sharp, small points common to vampires. They always seem to have a slightly red tint to them, no matter how much she brushes. When she hasn't drunk blood for three or more days, her skin turns gray, and her cheeks become sunken in. All in all, she takes on the appearance of a walking corpse, and it only gets worse the longer she remains thirsty. Her nails grow sharper, along with her teeth, and her eyes become a deep blue. Her pupils dilate, and she gives off the scent of new death. “She asked him, to name the monster that he is most afraid of always and looked into his eyes in silence. 'I see him every time whenever I stare into your eyes.' he replied.”

![]() Since becoming a Vampire, Sariah has changed. She'd be loathed to admit it, but she isn't the same girl she used to be. While still a friendly, if not a bit snippy, of a person, Sariah is on the quieter side. She likes to have fun, but she has to be given a little push to let loose in a crowd of people. Because she still struggles with her bloodlust, Sari tries to keep some distance between her and people who may make her thirsty. She has a keen hunter's instinct, and as such gets the urge to hunt when people around her are nervous or fearful. She has a particular love for one-on-one conversations or small group gatherings rather than large parties. Despite her best efforts, she has never managed the eloquence of the upper class and thus prefers static silence when in their presence. Her social awkwardness could be deemed endearing rather than annoying; she's the type of girl who would twirl her hair and laughing is certainly Sariah's nervous habit. Sari is most comfortable when discussing theoretical magic or playing sports. When it comes right down to it, she's a competitive girl, even while trying to pretend like she's not. She's the down-to-earth girl-next-door type of personality, but with a hardcore undertone of competitive sports girl. She loves football season. When she jokes or teases, she's the type that might punch a shoulder or give it a rough pat. Her sense of humor is definitely on the cheesy, random side and she's usually comfortable in that. She's far more likely to stand up for other people than she is to stand up for herself. Most commonly, Sariah ignores people who insult her, deeming them not worth her time. She has a soft spot for families and children in particular. It had never occurred to her before the option was taking away, but Sari thinks she might have wanted children. It's too late now, and she's sure she'd be a terrible parent, so she sticks to a big sister role to any who will let her, instead. Centuries has made Sariah begin to forget what it is to be human. She's emotionally drowning, knowing she's missing so many things, but being unable to correctly remember what they felt like. As a method of self-preservation, she's willingly let certain human emotions go to protect others. Despite this, she'd call herself a good person. She tries to balance doing the right thing for the community and humanity as a whole with doing the right thing for her coven. “The thing stank of unnamed yearnings, unfulfilled wishes, and a hunger so deep it make her feel hollow inside.”

![]() Sariah was born to a family of powerful witches that specialized in an untainted form of magic, neither dark nor light, but pure essence. Unlike so much new age magic, this wasn't flashy. It was subtle and heavy, sinking into an area and forever touching it. THEURGYMagical Intuition: A strong root of magic has made Sariah capable of reading the magic in the air. This allows her to vaguely sense magical effects on people, places, or objects when she concentrates and hones in on the source of the magic. When using this ability, she may not be spoken to, and she can't smell or hear what is happening around her.Using this power allows Sari to know not only if whatever she is honed in on (and usually touching) is being effected by magic, but vaguely how that magic is affecting it. Such as whether they are glamoured, or whether the effect is negative or positive. Particularly subtle or powerful magics elude her knowledge, however, and all she will know is that something is being affected, but not how it's being affected. DIVINATIONSoothsaying: Sariah is capable of reading the past, present, or future via reading patterns using a standardized process. She can do this one of four ways.Card Reading: Sariah uses a deck of tarot cards to answer whichever question she is given. Some of these answers are harder to de-code than others. Crystal Reading: Using a crystal ball, Sariah can gain insight into the questions people ask of her. However, if her crystal ball is broken or cracked, she can no longer use it. Palm Reading: By reading a person's palm, Sariah can provide insight into a problem or read a person's past, present, or future. To do this, she reads the various lines on a person's palms. Such as, the heart line, love line, marriage line, life line etc. Tea Leaves: Sariah can gain insight into the past, present, future or a question she has been asked by using tea leaves. Each of these methods takes time and space and also require a person to be receptive to her looking into their past, present, or future. Her predictions are more accurate when she has been asked a specific question and even then she can only give semi-vague answers. Such as, "there will be a darkness that comes into your life soon." "The death of a close family relative will occur soon." Etc. Dowsing: Using this ability, Sariah can locate a person, place, or thing by touching something associated with it. In her mind's eye, she will see a brief vision of whatever it is she's attempting to locate. If she can carry whatever she is using to track with along with her, she gets a vague pull towards the thing she is tracking, like an internal compass. Sariah must concentrate to see a five-second vision of the person, place, or thing she is tracking. SPECIES ABILITIESAs a Vampire, Sariah is enhanced over normal, human capabilities. She is twelve times stronger than she was as a human, and her speed allows for her to run at seventy-five miles per hour. She no longer ages and cannot die of old age.Her nose is particularly keen at picking up the scent of blood and people, but naturally, her senses are far more advanced than a human's. Screamo music tends to hurt her sensitive ears, unfortunately, and perfume isn't kind to her nose. She is adept at seeing in the dark, much better than seeing in daylight, but her vision is over human aptitude. Her sense of taste can be somewhat wonky as it is dependent on her level of hunger. See weakness section for more detail. Her grace and agility strengthened when she was turned Undead, though Sariah wouldn't consider her agility to be anything superhuman. Her grace, on the other hand, is too smooth for humans. Too smooth, like a painting come to life, or like she isn't lifting her feet at all when she moves. It'll take some practice to move like a normal person again. Onto the most important aspect of vampires: blood. Blood is easily the most vital concept to vampirism, and that's no exception here. Being young means she doesn't have to drink as much as the older members of her subclass, but she does need to drink frequently, and enough that it's more than one cup (or bag) of blood. She must drink at least two pints of blood to feel sated (though she'd be happy to gorge on more). Generally speaking, Sariah is comfortable when she drinks one to two pints of blood every two days, but if she goes hungry for three days, people will take notice. Blood is the very thing that keeps Sariah appearing normal. Without consuming it frequently, her eyes glow, her teeth and nails sharpen, and her skin and scent take on qualities of the dead. It's worth noting here that Sariah cannot live off the blood of animals. For one, Sariah is only able to bleed when she is fed. Otherwise, she doesn't bleed, but she also doesn't heal. For another, Sariah can only taste when she's well fed. When hungry, everything is bland to her. She is cold to the touch, and she can't feel warmth or other humanly comforts. Blood from packs will sate her, as does cold blood, but warm and fresh from the human body is just better. Drinking it is like taking heroin, it's an addiction that's near impossible to overcome. Naturally, Sariah doesn't need to breathe, unless she wishes to speak. Which means she cannot be suffocated or drowned. She doesn't need to eat or drink regular food, either, and if she chooses to do so for the taste, she'll have to vomit it up later. She does need to rest (not quite the same as sleeping), but when doing so Sariah is more or less dead, or in a state very near it. She's near impossible to awaken. Generally speaking, unless incredibly wounded or mentally worn from using too much magic, Sariah only requires rest once every two weeks for a period of twelve hours. Sariah heals faster than a regular human. Her wounds don't close immediately (or at all when in a state of intense hunger) but they heal rapidly enough that a bruise would heal in fifteen minutes. A moderate wound (non-lethal) would take twenty minutes, and a lethal wound would heal (assuming Sariah had a chance to rest) within a day or so, depending on severity. If she's moving too frequently, naturally these wounds will reopen before they have a chance to heal. When drinking fresh blood, or large quantities of pre-packaged blood, Sariah's body mends itself extremely rapidly. Bruises will be fixed in five minutes, non-lethal wounds in fifteen, and critical in half a day. Again, she wouldn't be able to do this in a fight, as she'd be required to rest and not move her body excessively for her wounds to close and remain so. Among her Vampiric powers is the ability to entice people. This isn't mind control, and it takes some skill on the casters part that Sariah hasn't mastered yet. This ability can only be used when someone is meeting the Vampire's eyes. It starts slow, a tingling, warm feeling. The person finds themselves wanting to be closer to the Vampire, thinking the Vampire is beautiful. All they know is they have to be closer and be near them. This can be broken by those with stronger mental will than the caster, or if the person being enticed is touched, pulled, or pushed by someone else. Once the enticement is broken, it leaves the individual who was formerly enticed feeling a bit sick and empty where they were once warm. This doesn't last any longer than five minutes. WEAKNESSESSunlight: A common enough weakness for Vampires. Sariah is usually capable of walking around during the daytime or on sunny afternoons. Her eyes are sensitive to the sun's light, and her skin reacts to it like someone with an allergy. This makes her wear hats, sunglasses, and cover her skin more. Prolonged exposure to the sun gives her headaches and rashes. When her body has gone unfed to the point of her skin graying, this effect is much more hazardous. She is unable to step into the sun without intense burning. It doesn't light her ablaze, but it is extremely painful, like standing in the center of a fire pit. She will get third-degree burns, and her skin reacts as quickly to the sun's rays as someones would to actual fire. Private Property: Sariah cannot enter onto private property without first being invited by someone who lives inside. Once invited in, Sari may use that same entrance as often as she likes, but must be invited into any other entrance she hasn't used before. If she attempts to enter without invitation, she will feel intense pain and begin to bleed from every pore on her body. This can and will lead to her eternal death in a matter of fifteen minutes. Dead Man's Blood: If Sariah is to drink the blood of a dead man, she will go into a century-long sleep-like state. It won't matter how newly dead the person is, just that they are indeed dead. This makes her wary of drinking blood when she hasn't seen the source it came from and equally as suspicious to drink from blood packs. Silver: Silver irritates Sariah's skin and burns her. When cut with silver or shot with it, she struggles with her usual healing ability. Having silver stuck inside of her is a good way to disable and put her in constant pain. Holy Things: Condemned to a life of sin, Sariah cannot walk on holy ground, go into holy places, or touch holy objects. Being in the mere presence of holy things (statues, crosses, rosaries, etc.) is enough to make her extremely uncomfortable and anxious. To touch them is a strange mixture of burning and shocking. It hurts, and it wards Sariah off. Burying her on holy ground is one of the best ways of eliminating or trapping her. Blood Bound: Sariah is bound to The Mother by a strong blood bond. The blood bond is a bond between a Vampire and the one who made them, created through the created Vampire drinking blood from their creator on multiple occasions. Mostly, this bond makes Sariah euphoric around The Mother and look upon her with rose-tinted glasses, but on the occasions that The Mother gives Sariah a stern order, Sariah cannot refuse her. Until Sariah stops sharing blood with The Mother, or until she's reached or surpassed five hundred years old, this bond cannot be broken. Bloodlust: Thirst is an ever present issue on Sariah's mind. Even when she's full, the threat of hunger is always looming. When around people for any prolonged period, her throat itches with the need to feed. It's pretty much impossible for her to control herself when blood is spilled. She's still incredibly young for a vampire and as such, her control is finicky. She tries to remain well-fed to ensure she doesn't lose it and attack anyone. Youth: Since becoming a Vampire, Sariah has the tendency to move more gracefully than is normal. Sometimes this is a good thing; sometimes people find it a little off-putting. When moving, she's perhaps too smooth. Youth makes Sariah prone to subtle, but unnerving mistakes in her interactions with people and body language. She has the tendency to stop breathing when she's not talking, or move too quickly, put things down too hard. She doesn't know the limits to her own strength and speed yet, which means she isn't good with fragile things until she has better control over herself. “I hate that you make me be a monster for you,”

![]() Sariah was born in Montpellier, France during 1672 to a powerful family of witches by the name of Elise Lefévre. The women in her family had the tendency to gain a pure form of magic and due to this, many of her family saw themselves as better than witches whose magic was influenced by darkness, light, to the elements. Sariah and her twin sister were the third set of daughters to the family and the fifth and sixth children. They were raised to a middle-class family and taught proper etiquette along with studies in their newfound magical abilities. Sariah, in particular, took an interest in her magic that greatly pleased her family, while her sister was more interested in marriage and children. Most of Sari's life was spent this way, with her nose in books and her mind filled to the brim with different studies. She wasn't particularly good at talking or charming her way into conversations like her twin was, so she stuck to the more scholarly aspects of life. By eighteen she had met a woman by the name of Lucrezia and fell madly in love. Between sneaking off to meet with Lucrezia and studying her magical abilities, Sariah's life was simple but pleasant. It was only a few days past her nineteenth birthday that Sariah and her family were attacked by a family of dark witches, hoping to destroy their line of magic. Gravely wounded, and her family lying cold in a pool of their own blood, Sariah found Lucrezia and cried. She proclaimed her love and gave her goodbyes, fully aware her death was imminent. Little did Sariah know, it wasn't in the way she had imagined it. There had been so many little signs that Sari missed over their year together, but Lucrezia, later known as The Mother, was a Vampire, and she took it upon herself to give Sariah the gift of Undeath. It wasn't easy sailing from there, but Sariah got used to her undeath and her immortality. She stuck by Lucrezia's side, even traveling to Manta Carlos with her in the 18th century when the time came. To this day, she remains one of The Mother's trusted servants and mages. “I surrender to the Monster. What pleasure at last to give way to the strongest force in oneself.”

Known in her Coven for being the Mother's favorite and most loyal servant and lover. Some envy Sariah for this, while others are disgusted by her dependency on the Mother.
Beyond that, Sariah is quiet in her general day to day life. She tries to come off as normal, approachable, and human as she can. | ||
