It’s really all muscle and not an ounce of fat below his neck. He dresses like any other person would and favors hoodies, band tees and the like. He is a full blood vampire of noble lineage and does have Victorian era attire in his closet. He also sports retractable fangs and claws.
Personality Description: He is a full blooded vampire who was born into the world, not turned under specific circumstances. He’s still fairly young for a vampire, however he does carry himself with a good deal of dignity and grace. He’s not one to bring up his past to anyone unless it’s relevant to the topic at hand. While many of his peers look down on humans or “lesser” vampires, he has taken the policy of never underestimating them to the point that he’ll treat them like equals. With this said he has little tolerance for troublemakers within the vampire community considering they can attract hunters.
He’s not one to simply change someone into a being like himself without giving them enough instruction to survive on their own. In short he claims responsibility for those he turns and never does it without purpose. He tries to lead a quiet peaceful life. Clement won’t prey on unwilling victims unless they’ve wronged him somehow. And if that hasn’t tipped you off, he’s by no means a pacifist. He leans more towards not attacking unless provoked or seeing that there’s no other way.
His pastimes include reading, attending music festivals, and experimenting with blood. He does enjoy the company of others, and staying holed up in your manor can get rather boring after a while. As a result, he’s often looking for things to do. Physically speaking he’s young and still has a good deal of vigor. He can see in the dark and has hearing and a sense of smell on par with a wolf. While he prefers to primarily stay nocturnal, he can go outside in the sun as it doesn’t kill him it only gradually weakens and tires him out. Holy water and relics such as crosses have a burning effect on him should he come into contact with them. It should be noted so long as he can replenish himself on blood he can recover from any of these weaknesses however, a silver or wooden stake through the heart will permanently kill him.
Blood Weapon: This ability is something specific to the Vermilion family. While it’s not actual blood, the weapons in their non solid forms are liquids that have a similar color. When exposed to the air it shapes itself into a black metallic weapon. Through the use of a specific family alchemic ritual the host is implanted with an organ within the arm typically done during a coming of age ceremony. The weapons vary and depend upon the user. In Clement’s case his is a very large battle axe. Family members can pass on these organs to other family members thus granting them two different weapons to utilize. These weapons can have extra abilities that come with them. In Clement’s case, his axe consumes blood from those he cuts down and in turn increases his stamina and gradually making it easier for him to wield.
As a rule family members only utilize these weapons when dealing with true threats to their lives. Stronger and older family members may not even deploy theirs at all in some cases.
The strength of these weapons are entirely dependent on the wielder’s diet and how much use it receives. The weapon grows in strength as the vampire who wields it does the same. Vampires with healthy diets can cut through steel with little issue. Poor diets cause the weapons to be brittle, in extreme cases even falling apart immediately after deployment. If the corresponding limb is severed and not reattached then the weapon will be lost and its owner would have to seek out a new one.
Having another member’s organ implanted can also be potentially dangerous if the receiving party isn’t compatible with the organ as it will become parasitic if used, thus sapping its new host’s strength.
Biography: For Clement the full details of his history are on a need to know as far as he’s concerned. He was the second born son to a noble vampire family in the early 1800's. His life was relatively normal for vampires until the woman he was to marry was killed by a rival. This sparked several bloody revenge fueled decades. And that in turn led to him hibernating, mellowing out during said period, and waking up in 2013 in a manor on Manta Carlos. The staff there seemed overjoyed that he had finally awaken.
He spent that time until roughly now reacquainting himself with the world. He’s now enrolled at Starlight Academy studying alchemy and restoring contact with his family.
