Pursuing elusive symphonies

Adhara Halloran

Summary: Adhara is a frail lady born to a noble clan in the Mariawa Empire, whose members were frequently assigned to long-term diplomatic missions to other planets and clans.The earth clan that was she sent to as an envoy, however, was already eradicated when she arrived there. In the confusion, she took up leadership of the company which had come with her and created her own clan, taking on the name Halloran. She moved their headquarters to Manta Carlos about a decade ago and has a reputation for being extremely open to sharing magical knowledge.

Plots: Adhara is a teacher at the Academy and is always open to having more students. Though she teaches at the college level, she unofficially can teach other types of magic to anybody who asks. Or at least, their theory.
Altair Halloran

Summary: Altair is Adhara's youngest sibling. His father was disgraced and exiled from court, an act that traumatized a young Altair and sent his mother into a deep depression. He worked hard to regain his family's lost honor but was forced to take a military career rather than a respectable scholarly one. During a campaign, he and his unit were nearly routed and he was chased to the solar system where he was met by his Adhara's clanmates and taken to Earth.

Plots: Altair is currently on Manta Carlos trying to convince his sisters to return to the Empire. He is strong in loyalty but perhaps not belief. It would do him good to find somebody who challenges his views. I am also looking for a strong-willed but dignified lady to pair up with him, preferably on the scholarly or military side.

Grimoire of a Thousand Eyes

Summary: The book is currently owned by Madison Mortiere. It was formed fully from eldritch energies in the Forbidden Forest and composed of a multitude of eyes and little else. In exchange for your immortal soul, it will grant one random power.

Plots: The book is always seeking souls so that it may one day forge its own.

Ithai

Summary: Ithai had a close relationship with his parents who died tragically in an accidental, psychically caused fire when he was young. He was sent to Starlight Academy under the guardianship of Vanora Lawful and stayed there for several years until he could finally move out on his own. He eventually came to own a bookstore called the Delphi and has employed Aslan Solak and Claudius as his assistants.

Plots: None

Liron Andersen

Summary: Liron was born to two angels at a military outpost. Cult-like in its interpretation of the Word, it shunned all those who were not combat oriented, Liron included. In her desperation, she had a child with a nightmare, which effectively made her an outcast. She was separated from her son shortly after his birth and began to fall. By the time he was in his teens, she had fallen all the way and was turned out of the community. After some time traveling the earth, she met a human who fell in love with her. They married and she became stepmother to his son, who later developed powers. This necessitated a move to Manta Carlos.

Plots: Liron is a high school math teacher and also looking to unfall. I need to put her into situations that would otherwise be breaking, only for her to find hope in some way and regain her faith.

Lucianne Lovejoy

Summary: Lucianne is a simple, sweet-natured girl who merely wants the best for everybody. She was born to a normal family in descended from spirits on the Manta Carlos countryside. Home-schooled and part of a close-knit community, she had a happy life and close relationships with the people around her. Eventually, she went to and graduated from Starlight Academy before settling into life as a barista for the fun of it.

Plots: Currently pursuing a relationship with Jude Genovese. Otherwise tentatively open to poly-amorous plots.

Madhukar Bhattacharya

Summary: Madhukar is a mostly retired Fae hunter who spent most of his early life a prisoner of an unknown Fae court. When his abilities manifested, the court turned upon itself and he managed to escape in the commotion. He brought with him a fellow prisoner, the serpent spirit Galwynn and the two became inseparable. They ambushed wandering fae frequently in the next few decades but vengeance felt hollow. They eventually encountered a Manta Carlos scout and came to the island where they discovered fae who were friendly and even benevolent, which was unsettling in light of their previous deeds. For a while until his retirement, Madhukar ran missions between the human and Fae realms searching for snatched human children and re-settling changeling children on the island.

Plots: Being retired, Madhukar has decided to figure out what exactly is up with his powers. He is open to any sort of plot that might require him.


Naomi Thompson


Summary: Naomi was born in an alternate Earth where superheroes and villains existed. After losing her parents at a young age, she became a magical girl at thirteen in order to never feel helpless again. Though she spent some time as a solo hero, she eventually teamed up with a group of others to form the Cloudless Skies. They became moderately popular and it was in this way that she met her future husband, Michael Jermain. When her team was killed in an Incident, her powers went from hope-based to despair-based and Michael was one of the few people who could still stand to be around her. They later married and had a daughter, Janelle Tia Thompson. When their world was destroyed, Naomi and her husband crossed a portal into Manta Carlos to join their daughter.

Plots: Settling in on Manta Carlos after the destruction of Halcyon. I am looking for ways to get her old battle prowess back.

Nerys Milburga Ó hÍceadha

Summary: Powerful from birth, Nerys was separated from her parents at a young age after years spent trying to research how to suppress her abilities. It was decided that she was too powerful to stay on her birth planet and sent to live alone on the dark side of Earth's moon. After a lifetime of isolation and nothing to do besides reading and taking apart machines, Nerys learned how to put back together everything on the space station and successfully escaped. She crashed landed on Earth with the aid of a Manta Carlos scout and has been there ever since.

Plots: Currently pursuing a relationship with Gwyn Drakenhardt.

Pham Thi Anh Sang

Summary: Anh Sang is a bright, cheerful young girl who is easily distracted by sparkly and pretty objects. She was born to a multi-national family and spent most of her life moving between Osaka and Ho Chi Minh City. As her family had a history of magic, they were prepared to deal with her powers. Nonetheless, she was sent to Manta Carlos so she could further explore the magical world and interact with her peers.

Plots: Currently pursuing a relationship with Orsick Drakenhardt.

Sunday
Summary: Sunday was born to a family of witches hunted by an entity that pursues them during the night and becomes progressively stronger all their lives. Her parents were both claimed by it, orphaning her at an early age. She was brought to the island by chance and later graduated the academy only to come right back as a teacher.

Plots: Sunday is a talented smith looking for new projects. She is also looking for a way to break the curses on her. In addition, I am looking for a lesbian to ship with her, preferably a stern and solemn character with some grace.
