Coral made a small gesture towards, turning down Thorn's offer when she offered the cigerettes. Really, if she could, she would really just tell Thorn should quit smoking. She takes in enough fumes to light up an entire building.

She then turned to Argya who still had her attention on her guitar. "Well, I wanted to but talons aren't actually that compatible with instruments I want to play." She was so jealous of people who could play music. She considered trying out some other percussion instruments but she was way too cautious. What if she accidentally rips the cloth-ish part of the instruments. Oh man, that would be a bust--

“I must say it, you look pretty darn cool”.

"Oh- well. Um, thank you...!" 'Was she talking to me or just Thorn??' "You're..." 'Oh wow, she's actually pretty now that I see it, uh oh.' "...really great at playing music, by the way..!" Coral let out a soft awkward laugh.

The contact made by Eph made Allan flinch slightly but he managed to ease into it soon enough. "I'll... try my best," he said meekly. He wasn't used to people being too chummy especially on first meetings. It was undoubtedly making him self-conscious. And Eph was even... a special case.

Allan sat with them under the tree, closer to Adelene, as he listened to Eph's story. While he was curious how Eph ended her story with an abrupt redirection, he shrugged it off, expecting that the lizard lady didn't want to talk about it. "That's... pretty interesting, uh." These were just times Allan didn't know what exactly to say. "So... what do you exactly want to know?"

James took a moment of silence, drinking from his cup, as if he
hadn't heard the question, before looking up with a small smile,"Well...I
suppose that's a fair trade. Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you,"

He stood up as the shadows slinked back to where they came
from. The young lad pulled out a blue gem from his pocket and
held it before him as it started to shine and ribbons of darkness
AND light emerged from it, wrapping around him in a cocoon
shape.

From out of the cocoon stepped a girl around his age with a slender, well-developed body of almost unearthly beauty. Her hair is long, flowing and pure white with streaks of silver on the ends. Wears a black and blue suit of witch's garb with striped leggings and pointed heeled shoes. She also wore a pair of black fingerless gloves. Her eyes are bright blue and her skin is pure white too. She wears a large witch's hat with a wide rim and a white ribbon. Wears a pendant around her neck too. Also has a long flowing black cape too.

In her hands appeared two orbs, one black and one white. She slammed
them together above her head, creating a mixed orb from which formed a
long staff with two emblems. A sun on one end, the moon on the other.

She ran her fingers along the rim and spoke in a high-pitched, strong-toned
voice, "So...is that good enough magic for you?"

James, in his new form, accepted the flower and looked it over
thoughtfully before nodding, "Turning illusions into reality...I guess
I should've expected nothing less from a kitsune," She giggled before
looking up to her, "Hmm? This?"

She gestured to herself, "That's...the complicated part. You see, a
couple months ago I got dragged into this ritual by another witch girl
and ended up trapped in the body of a cat. The witch put me through
test after test to restore me to normal...but my body was so flushed
with Mana that it...changed me on a fundamental level,"

The witch twirled a tussle of her hair, "And you see the results. Thankfully,
that witch girl gave me something to focus my powers and I was able to
resume the old me thanks to enough magic...of course, shape
doesn't exactly matter too much anymore for me,"

It was obvious this was a somewhat embarassing topic for him/her as she
waved her staff about, "I can't do this to others...yet...but my Mana reserves
are good enough that I can create a couple clones from darkness, maybe even
bend light to create some illusions."

He smiled at Joker. He couldn't really tell if he was enjoying the vine until he called it sick. Then he relaxed and pulled his phone back, typing in Redhotchilipepes into his search bar and following Joker's vine account. It was only the polite thing to do.

The faun looked deep into Jokers sunglasses before smiling brightly. "Alright! I haven't a collaborated vine in a while!"

Casually he started setting up his equipment. "Hey, I was thinking about doing this trust fall thing, and if you don't mind falling out of a tree again..." He said to himself. "I was also thinking about you doing cool parkour and then I try to copy you and fall super hard, that might be fun..."

Mostly he was just thinking aloud as he finished setting up the tripod. "But I have other ideas if you don't like those."

Tevyntr was excited when the person brought him deeper into the forest instead of taking him back to the boring old park. There was nothing fun there. Mommy had taken him there multiple times and ever time he got bored because there were no other kids his age there. All he could do was run around and play with himself.

But the forest was fun and Mommy never let him come here by himself, but now he had a big new friend to show him around and he was going to have tons and tons of fun.

He nodded at Hari as they walked deeper into the forest, into a pretty glad with pretty flowers and pretty butterflies. He let Hari hold his hand as he looked at all the flowers and fluttering creatures. One landed on his nose, and he crossed his eyes at look at it.

"PTHBBBBT!" he blew a raspberry at it and it fluttered away only briefly before landing on his nose again. It tickled, but the butterfly seemed nice otherwise, so he didn't bother it again

He looked down at the Apple he'd been given. He'd given it a sniff.

"Papple." He said, holding it out to Hari again. "Papple-ble."

"Oh yes," she said, spinning her spoon carefully between her fingers. Weekends were one of the few times the witch worked the whole day and Muffler worked not at all. The cat usually got tired of working through the week, so the Witch had gotten used to taking over for her in the afternoon, giving the cat enough time to make their deliveries before she bedded down for the night.

The cat was a dream, truly she was.

Well, she offered a cookie to the small creature, just to see if it would eat it. Did it eat? Were cookies part of its diet? she was intrigued. She was also worried about Cabel. Of course she didn't know about the true nature of LemonSqueeze, assuming the it was just a strange child Cabel had born with a strange student at the school.

"Oh, no, you're thinking of Ecstasy with the Martian K--" She stopped mid-sentence and her mouth hung open. "You know about this series?"

[Adelene >> Allan and Eph ]

Adelene chewed on some chewy chocolate cookies as she listened to Eph's story. She was a little worried about Allan being constantly fidgety and awkward and conscious, so when he sat down beside her, she shifted a bit closer to offer some cookies, and pat him on the head. "Cookie?" After that, she offered some to Eph as well, though the lizard lady had lots of food with her as well.

"My story isn't suited for sunny picnic bonding, let's leave it be." She emitted nothing close to uneasiness but she obviously avoided Eph's question. She made a dismissive but casual shrug, before continuing to eat. "Hm. We should do something after we eat and rest. Everyone else looks so energetic."

Eph - Adelene & Allan

"Hmm. Get a load of that guy." Eph munched on a bit of melon with a curious and judging stare at the dark - skinned loud man in the middle of the park drinking by himself. There was something almost admirable in the way he couldn't be assed to give any thought to what others thought of him, sitting there with his bottle. 'Almost' was the keyword there - for the most part it was just sad. "Now why would someone be drinking so early all alone..? I mean, part of me wants to hug the guy, part of me thinks he'll throw up on me, and the, uh, other part thinks I should probably freeze his drinks."

Leaves were falling from the soft breeze onto Eph's face. She blew them up with a puff and slowed them down on their descent with a bit of a light blue glow issuing from her fingers and enveloping the leaves. They descended through the air slowly, and she stared at them wistfully, until they began to freeze as they reached her face again. The cold made her shake her head sluggishly.

"You guys ever wonder why you can do what you can do? I mean, I'm a lizard, right? And reptiles suck with the cold. And for some reason I can make things cold, like this melon here... It's just... so weird, you know?" As if to highlight her argument, she chilled a slice of melon to a frosty near - freezing and took a bite. "Not complaining or anything, just... yeah, whatever the word is."

Allan followed Eph's gaze to its general direction to find this one guy sitting alone in the middle of the park with a drink in hand (he thinks he was a member of the faculty but he couldn't be so sure.) More importantly, why was he drinking this early in the day. Allan paused for a moment to remember he had college friends before who would literally drink early in the afternoon. Okay, maybe it wasn't all that weird then.

He didn't spend too much time thinking about it and turned back to Eph, "Well, I guess there are just some people who prefer drinking early," he said with a chuckle as he picked a biscuit from his own platter.

Allan just observed Eph as she played with the air around her and froze a leaf in front of her. That was pretty cool, Allan thought. Sometimes, he wished he had cool powers like that instead of.. well... what he has now. All he got were nightmares and a significant lack of sleep. He should consider sleeping pills at one point.

"You guys ever wonder why you can do what you can do?" Eph asked all of a sudden. Allan literally paused to think. He had always wondered why he could see bad things happening in the future time. Yes, he would actually complain because it was a huge hassle to have something that can traumatize you in your sleep when you're supposed to be resting. But nah, someone decided it would be a good idea to give him this power to foresee the worst case scenario and deprive him of a good night's sleep.

Allan sighed. "I actually wonder that a lot and to be honest, I wish I didn't have it," he said solemnly, looking at the biscuit he'd bitten off from. Allan sighed again before looking at Adelene, waiting for her response, though he guesses she doesn't want to talk about it so he didn't actually say it outright.
