The roller coaster idea sounded exciting, but if Adelene were to be honest, she didn't know what to expect of the ride. She knew it made people scream, but she didn't know how she'd feel about it herself.

"Oh, I'm fine though. No need to treat me to a ticket or anything like that," she laughed, waving her hand dismissively.

She brought out her phone and tried to mess with it for a moment while waiting for Leon to settle things with his mother. She put it back in her pocket when he closed the door again, and she stepped closer, inspecting his face curiously.

"What's up?" she asked. She was smirking a little, finding Leon's being flustered to be amusing. "If you can go, then there's no problem, right?"

"You sure? Well if you insist then I won't push it. Cotton Candy is on me. No negotiation."

Leon gave a jokingly wink at the mention of cotton candy. Leon ate healthy most of the time, but even he had to indulge himself whenever he went to the amusement park. And what better way then cotton candy?

When Adelene looked at his face he just smiled and took off his apron, throwing it on the counter. His mom could play the embarrassment game, but Leon could play with a few games of his own. Once that wouldn't exactly be harmful anyway. Holding out his arm Leon takes a small bow.

"Well then shall we be off My Dear? To the wondrous adventures of the amusement park! Where adults can be kids for a day and enjoy everything like they just don't care!"

Instead of waiting for Adelene to grab his arm Leon threw his arms into the air as he spoke, clapping his hands together and going into a weird pose. He didn't care he was having fun and hoped Adelene was going ot have as much or more fun.

Leon already had his house keys, wallet, and phone in his pocket so he was ready to go as soon as she was.

No negotiations. Well. Addy didn't mind being treated to cotton candy, so she really didn't put up an argument to that.

She was excited to leave, and she could understand that Leon was also hyped. But she didn't expect him to make that pose just when she was about to grab his hand. She was staring at him for a few seconds, the look of being weirded out all over her face, her raised brows and her slightly agape mouth. And then she told him, "You're weird. I know I said that already but..." her lips curved up to a grin, a chuckle, "...I don't think I'll ever stop saying that."

She laughed, patting Leon on his head for being weird and adorable. But she had to stop him before things get awkward, so she grabbed his arm, the one that was stretched up into the air, pulling it down as she locked it by the wrist in her hand.

"Okay, okay, let's go." She tugged at his hand before letting him go. "Let's just take the taxi there, is that okay?"

"All part of my charm."

Leon gave a small wink and laughed. He was glad she was enjoying herself and was just calling it weird. Well, it was weird but in a fun way. Still if she was laugh, smiling, and having fun then why stop just at a weird pose? He had a few ideas for the amusement park after all. She thought this was weird? Well she'd have to wait till they got there.

"A taxi? Sure. I'll call one up and have it pick us up out front. Give me a moment."

Leon pulled out his cell phone and called up the taxi service. He had the number on speed dial from the times he took random girls out or was just generally being nice. So once he put in his call it didn't take long for a taxi to arrive. Leon at this point had escorted Adelene out front similar to their lunch date, opening the door for her and letting her get in before himself.

When they arrived Leon got out and took a big breath and exhaled comically. He hadn't been to the amusement park for a while. Leon held out his arm in an escort-like fashion. It was just two friends enjoying the day, but Leon did love being overly dramatic and nice sometimes. A lot....All the time. When he was with good friends anyway.

"Well here we are. Ready for an adventure?"

Adelene didn't do anything more as they briefly waited for the taxi. She had no idea how Leon got one so fast though, nor did she know about speed dial just yet. After all, she still didn't know her phone, and phones in general, that well.

She appreciated Leon's gesture of opening doors for her; she found that very pleasant. She had a small smile on her face the whole time, and that only became wider when they got out. Leon didn't fail to make her laugh again, being all exaggerated and still weird and all adorable like that. She just hoped he wouldn't go as far as making an embarrassing scene in public.

She had no trouble holding on Leon's arm though. She grinned up at him as she took the offered arm. "Okay, I'm ready! Are we going with the rides first?"

Leon had to think on that one. Should they go on the rides first? Or should they just walk around? Well before they could even do that there was the tickets. Couldn't exactly gain entrance without those after all. Leon escorted Adelene to the ticket counter. As they approached Leon slipped his arm out from Adelene's grasp to grab his wallet. Well....As much as he wanted to, he didn't want to make Adelene feel like she was mooching in any manner. Leon paid for his ticket and waited for Adelene before making his approach to the park.

Leon picked up a map and started going over it. They had a few shows that would happen later, a wide area for carnival games, and the rides themselves. Leon looked through the things they could do and couldn't really decide on anything himself. If anything he wanted to try his hand at a few of the carnival games before hitting the rides. Then he started going over the idea on what if he won something for Adelene and they went on a ride. Maybe he was just worrying too much.

"Hmm. What strikes your fancy? Personally I want to try some of the carnival games before we hit some rides. But if you're ready for the rides that can wait till we've screamed our heads off in joy. I know for sure the roller coaster is on the list, but the rest I don't know about. So what sounds funner to you? Games or Rides?"

He didn't want to just take over their whole adventure himself. Adelene deserved to have as much say as he did. And if she said he should decide...Well Leon going to make her choose at least one thing to do before they did what he wanted. That's just what he did.

Adelene was happy Leon let her pay for her own ticket. It didn't make her feel like she'd owe him anything, at least anything more than the pastries she already ate back in the shop.

The map was a good stuff to carry, she thought, especially since this was her first time in such a crowded place and Leon did say that he hasn't been here in a while. The screams were overwhelming. The large crowd was striking. Adelene was a little intimidated by everything she saw and heard and she wanted to... hide behind Leon, if possible.

But she did feel excited at what they were planning to try. She took a glimpse of the map before looking around them. The people riding the roller coaster sounded like they were screaming their lungs out, and she honestly thought she might not enjoy the games anymore if they tried the death ride first.

She swallowed.

"I think we should try the games first," she answered, grinning. "Make sure we'll get some cotton candy though, okay?"

Leon winked at Adelene. Of course they would get cotton candy! Just after all the rides so they didn't get an upset stomach. At the mention of the games Leon exploded inside. He could have so much fun showing off to her now! And generally enjoying their time together and having fun.

"Games it is. Let's see.Yeah I have enough. Alright. Hope you're ready to carry a bunch of stuff home because I'm winning you a lot of prizes. Or at the least a few stuffed animals. Don't know why, but I haven't found a girl yet who doesn't go crazy for stuffed animals no matter how big or small."

Leon had picked up on how Adelene was acting. He had almost forgot she didn't like crowds much. To help calm her down Leon stuck his arm under hers and let her basically hold it like a safety blanket. He didn't mind, he hoped it would make her less afraid and focus more on having fun.

As they walked to the game area Leon kept scanning around. There was a few specifically he wanted to do and knew one of them normally had giant stuffed animals they gave out. He also knew how rigged some of these games can be and aimed to prove them wrong even if he put a sword through a few displays.

Then he spotted it. The Strong Arm challenge, which consisted of hitting a pedal with a large hammer to try and ring the bell. Leon pratically dragged Adelene as his paced increased upon reaching the game. Leon walked up to the person working the game, an elderly gentlemen. Leon noticed a few stuffed animals but three stuck out to him. The first was a giant rabbit, another a giant bear. The third Leon almost wanted for himself as it was a giant knight looking thing. He was still confused as to why it was a prize but decided to let it go. There were other smaller stuffed animals on the shelves as well. They weren't his goal, however Leon would still be happy if Adelene decided to take one or a few of them instead.

"How much for one attempt?"

"For five dollars you get three."

"Deal. How how to get a prize?"

"Depends on how high. Now come on Sport! Show your girlfriend here what you're made of!"

Leon grinned as he opened his wallet and paid, looking over at Adelene with a confident look in his eyes. He was going to win one of these dolls for her. All he could do was one thing.

"Hope you got a prize picked out, because I'm hitting that bell."

Leon picked up the hammer. Compared to his swords it was a little heavier. Leon took a moment to get his baring and hold the hammer to where he felt he'd get the maximum hit out of it. Raising it above his head, Leon brings it down onto the pedal and instantly looks up. The metal bar moved about 3/4th of the way to the top. Not good enough was all that Leon could think. Raising the hammer back behind his head Leon takes his time before slamming it down a second time. The bar almost reached the bell but fell a few feet short.

By now Leon was determined. He had one shot left before he had to purchase a few more. He rolled his sleeves up and looked over at Adelene and smiled. He forgot for a moment he wanted to do this for himself, to show off his strength. Then he remember he was doing this more to have fun with Adelene, to get her a possible prize.

Once more Leon raised the hammer above his head. He had one shot left, and he wasn't going to fail it. Letting out a war cry Leon slams the hammer down once. Leon kept his gaze on the pedal and waited. And waited.

Ding! "Well, well! We have a winner! Pick out your prize!"

Leon looked over and nudged his head at Adelene, telling her to pick it out. All with the biggest smile on his face...And the sorest arm muscles because man did that recoil hurt.

Adelene felt her face warm up a little when Leon said he was going to win stuffed animals for her. She loved stuffed animals, that was probably one of the few things about her that she wouldn't deny were disgustingly girly. Just thinking about them made her giddy and excited.

"I like them. They keep me company when I'm alone, and they're cute," she explained. "I never got the freedom to keep one before 'cause they're just unnecessary baggage when traveling... but at least I don't have to keep leaving places anymore."

She couldn't help but look around for booths that displayed stuffed toys because of that. She'd want to try bringing at least one home. She slightly yelped when Leon started dragging her, and she didn't even notice the hammer game until then. Looking at the contraption, it seemed like an easy task. Just hit the pedal hard enough to make the bell go 'ding!' She honestly wanted to try it herself, but she decided Leon would have this game. He seemed hyped.

She waited as the person manning the game spoke to him. She ignored the 'girlfriend' comment, even though they both knew that it was quite distant from reality. She eyed the bell again, and then the hammer Leon was holding (which looked pretty heavy the way he held it), and then turned her attention to the prizes. Honestly, the rabbit caught her eyes immediately. But she was the giant stuffed knight toy, and she realized she wanted that too. Because it reminded her of Leon.

"Be careful with that hammer," she reminded, before Leon started with the game. She almost pouted when after two tries he still didn't hit the bell. Was it that hard? She wouldn't know; she didn't know if the hammer was heavier than her M82.

And then there it was, the ding. Adelene jumped and clapped her hands together as she cheered "YES!" for him. The thrill was all over her face as she glanced at him. She nodded, before turning to the prizes. She chose the knight immediately.

After claiming it, she decided she was going to keep it locked in a hug if and when there won't be anything more important for her arms to do. She showed it to Leon, and smiled brightly. "Way to go, Leon! Oh hey, look at this little guy, he reminds me of you!"

Leon knew it. No girl could resist the temptation that is stuff animals! Now he had a weird idea to wear a bear costume just to see how Adelene would react. An idea for later he figured. He began to roll his arms around to ease out the soreness from using that stupid hammer. And this is why he loved swords too. Light and didn't need a ton of force to swing.

Leon was somewhat surprised when she grabbed the knight. He was guessing she'd grab the rabbit or bear, but this...Actually fit with how she was. It was adorable. Leon stood there triumphantly as Adelene hugged the stuffed knight.

"Of me? Why then I should do more knightly things! Such as this!"

Leon suddenly moves in front of Adelene and kneels down to one knee, bowing his head towards her as one of his swords begins to appear on his back. He was going to have as much fun with this as he possibly could. Who knows she might like it as well.

"Well then Princess Adelene, shall your knight escort you to whatever catches your eye today?"

Leon looked up winking at her with his ever large grin, the sun glinting off his goggles a bit. In truth Leon was overjoyed being able to act like this and not having to be a proper gentlemen. He could be him and still show Adelene a good time.

"So what sounds fun to you right now Princess?"
