"I'm in the 11th grade, along with my cousin. We're actually pretty new here!" she nodded with a smile. "I got to say, I never thought a school could get as big as Starlight. Compared to that, our old school would look only about half as big."

"It seems lots of student join every day, so yeah, the school is pretty big." Replied Victor, Shuffling in his seat. It was a bit closer to Lorencia, but not too much that he couldn't deny it. "My old school was -is - tiny compared to here as well. I think Starlight just naturally gets bigger after picking up international students."

He thought for a moment of a new topic. "Speaking of which, Where are you from?"

Lorencia thought about that. She guessed that their school was expanding in a similar way, but seeing how big this world was, compared to hers, then she could understand why they'd be behind. But still!

Her smile widened when asked where she was from. "Sol! It's an archipelago floating in the Void. The place is full of magic!"

He moved quickly, hitting the ball up and bumping it over, "we got this," he said giving Nova confident smile.

He quickly adjusted his sunglasses, making sure they weren't slipping. "Thanks for letting me join," he said grinning at Nova. He was enjoying this, just being a kid, playing a game with a cute girl.

Roland smiled, he was enjoying this game, it was new to him, "oh no I am a novice." He loomed to her, "you're doing very well."

Despite what others might be thinking, he wasn't flirting, he never flirted. He just had a kind heart and saw no reason to hide it.

Aswan gave him a curt nod and a smile. "Thank you - I haven't done this in a while." She admitted. ˋItˋs nice to have someone to play this with.ˋUp over her head, she spotted the rather big volleyball and tried to send it over to the other side. Hoping, praying she was indeed...
Successful. Her vollley was now over the net and dropping in Novaˋs general direction. Satisfied with her volley, she sank back into the water and prepared herself for the next volley. Youˋre also doing well as a novice.ˋ The girl on the other team, whom she now recognized as Nova, seemed like she knew a lot about the game as well.ǸǸAnd for that, she supposed, she was glad. Having a kind teammate (maybe, perhaps a littlee too kind?) sweetened the deal as well. And hell, he was cute to boot. ˋAre you astudent too, Roland?ˋ

Nova

"Yes we do," she replied to Will, just loud enough that Roland would hear her. She smiled and laughed as the ball flew in an arc towards her. She was happy at the moment, but she was displaying an exaggeration of that happiness.

"You are very welcome," she said. The ball was falling between Will and her, so she called, "I got it!" as she jumped up to tap the ball back over the net. However, her momentum was still going, causing her to fall back into Will instead of just into the water.

The ball was sent very high that time. It was not moving far or fast, but it was sent at least double the height of the net. But really, that was irrelevant at the time.

Regaining her balance, she turned around to look at him. She was up so close now, and she felt unexplainably attracted to him. There was no feature about him in particular that made her go wow, but he just seemed so... Attractive.

She had stood there for just half a moment too long, and the ball would surely be coming back at any second. "S- sorry..." she looked vulnerable. If the ball was to be sent back in her direction, chances were she would miss it. She was still in a trance caused by something she could not detect.

Haru, the poor innocent farm girl was finally able to goon several vacations without being scared of getting killed. The ship was absolutely magnificent and the watching the sea reflect the sun back up into her eyes was a marvelous sight. The blue seas of earth were very beautiful and was a site to behold. With a few pushes of a button Haru captured the beautiful atmosphere she was blessed to enjoy. Granted it was only available because she offered to chaperone and watch over the kids. She had taken the job so she could also watch over her precious child Adelyn. Who in actual fact was of no relation to her but a girl she cared for deeply.

From her current position Haru could look down upon Lyn and make sure she was okay. The whimsical girl wasnt even here for the romance, the point of this cruise. Instead Lyn had this infatuation with seeing Dolphins and whales and all the other cool wonders the sea held. Haru leaned over the railing looking down over another child her son. Who again was of no blood relation to her....she really needed to stop being a mother figure. The boy's name was Stefan and he was a pretty hotheaded kid who had a thing for Lyn. It was cute, and she respected his determination but she was just hoping the two of them focused on school. Like the little creep she was Haru snapped a picture of the two before looking around her deck.

To her astonishment her last and final reason for coming here was in sight,Storm Haywood. Storm could be considered her closest friend on the island. Every moment they had shared together after that fun adventure in the cornfield only grew in terms of entertainment. It warmed her heart to finally see Storm relaxing. The woman drowned herself in work and barely took breaks. Now was Haru's time to show her a good time. They could bond over killing the boys who tried to hit on Lyn....no that wasnt right. Haru threw the thought from her head and walked towards Storm "Hey sweet pea~"

Will smiled at Nova, "wasn't sure about coming here, but now I'm really happy I did."

The ball came over the net, moving quickly he stepped up and bumped it back over. "Yea this is really fun."
@Ninjapa

Roland nodded, "yes I am, recently enrolled." He smiled, "only managed to go to class a few times before the cruise." The ball came back over and he quickly bumped it back over.

"Hoping to learn more about the world," he grinned, "maybe learn a bit more magic, hopping to improve my healing spell."

Aswan nodded in understanding. "Ah. The same's true for me - I only enrolled a week ago. There's a lot to learn, but with the way I study it's nothing." She smirked, a sharp little smirk that betrayed some of her pride towards her studying habits. A hard worker, indeed. So what if she showed off a little? Surely it was only demonstrating her talent, and to this rather attractive teammate as well. "I'm already well-versed in most of the subjects - studied in my own time - so most of the work is already as good as done. And it's light homework, to boot." Keeping her eyes on the ball, which soared over to the other side, where one of the players on the other team would surely send it back, she continued. "You're a student of magic, right?" Little did he know - that was actually one of her trouble spots. She couldn't understand magic; it didn't conform to any sort of standard, or make any sort of physical or logical sense. Of course, she wouldn't let Roland know that. "Impressive." The word was quiet, genuine. "I imagine you must be pretty loyal to that study, to pursue that." With that, she positioned herself for the next volley, glancing at Roland out of the corner of her eye and waiting for his response.

"Archipelago? So not just one island, but many? Whoa." Multiverse theory was right, it seems. But that also meant she -and her cousin- were immune to his Time control, at least for maybe a few meters or so." I'm from Australia myself, which doesn't sound as extravagant."

Though it surprised him, he actually enjoyed talking to her, almost a complete stranger.
