Nova stayed in the water whilst Roland approached a girl on the deck. From where she was, she observed her modest covering-up of her bathers, her glasses and also how short she was. Nova herself was no taller than average, but she could see the girl who looked to be slightly older if not around the same age as her was certainly shorter. She also looked much more, well, human than Nova.

Paddling herself to the side of the pool, Nova watched as Roland invited her to join their game. She was happy that he was so eager to invite others to play at the net as well, but could not help but observe the immediate attention he gave her. It was much like the attention he directed Nova's way upon their first meeting.

"Yes, come and play with us! It will be fun, I promise!" The girl would have heard her offer the first time and would not find it strange that there was another player in the volleyball match.

Realising that a single extra player would make the team situation uneven, Nova called, "Does anyone else want to play too? Of course this was assuming the girl accepted Roland's offer. She figured she would, since he was working his charm, but she never could know. Maybe she would approach the girl later on and warn her about Roland's recklessness.

Then a thought came into her mind; what if the two of them really got along? What if they liked each other, and she was left alone? She was still annoyed at Roland, and thought he might be annoyed at her too, so their relationship was destined to be toxic anyway. But she could not be happy with him leaving her on the cruise for another girl! Of course she was overthinking it, but she still wondered if Roland would be the type of person to do that too. She sure hoped not.

The voice of the person - a guy around her age - startled her out of her relaxation. "[BCOLOR=#ffffff]Hm. A second, please" [/BCOLOR]she replied in a cool voice. Shooting a quick, sharp glance at the place in question, where another girl was waiting, encouraging her. Volleyball? But if she joined, she'd complicate it by making the teams uneven. Even as she pondered saying no, she found herself looking at this boy who had approached her. Rather attractive, by most standards. And she HAD gone on this cruise to get in shape (if ghosts could get in shape...?). So really, the advantage lay in playing with this boy, and what she assumed to be his girlfriend. Finally she snapped her glance back, sharp as ever. "Aswan Gomari. I'd be honored to join you two, although I am truly lacking in sports capability." Getting up, she gently fixed her bun and started to walk over to Nova.

Elizabeth couldn't help letting out a small squeal of surprise when Soren picked her up, grinning. She at first closed her eyes when he took off but couldn't stand not knowing entirely what was going on so she tentatively opened one. The view was amazing. Elizabeth could tell they weren't high enough for it to be a particularly dangerous fall and she could feel that Soren had a tight hold on her. She stared down at the glittering water while the wind blew through her hair.
A few minutes later and they were on the ship and when he placed her down Soren thanked her for trusting him. Elizabeth smiled, a little dizzy, "I didn't really have much choice." She laughed a little and shook her head to clear it. "So, you want to go explore a little? We need to find rooms and everything."

He quickly changed into his black bathing suit and slipped his sunglasses on. The speed dating thing hadn't done much so he headed for the pool. He saw a few kids his own age, a boy talking to a girl at the edge and a green skinned girl in the water.

He slid into the water and swam to the said green skinned girl, "hello," he said in what would sound like a British accent with bits of other European accents thrown in. "I'm William Thatch, call me Will," he gave a small boy and and a smile. He scratched the back of his head, "mind if I join you?" he wasn't really used to talking to people in such a casual setting let alone a cute girl.

He grinned and chuckled, "well I'm happy you liked it, I'll fly you whenever you want." His wings vanished in a shimmer of white, as they always did when not in use.

"Yea we should drop our stuff off and see what the ship has," taking her hand he led her toward the rooms. "I hear they have about everything here," he smiled, "we can swim, get something to eat, maybe dance a bit."

He smiled, "thank you for coming with me," he said honestly grateful, said gratitude could be heard in his voice. "Gonna be fun, exploring the ship together."

He smiled and taking her hand, kissed it, "a pleasure Aswan." He rose from his bow, "and the honor is mine," he said, the honesty could be heard in his voice.

He followed her into the water, and saw that a boy had joined Nova, good the teams would be even. "It seems we have teams now," he smiled charmingly at Aswan, "would you like to join me?"

Faye appreciated the fact that Theron didn't really mind if he showed affection to her in public. Being all lovey-dovey with someone around others may be embarrassing to some people, but going through a recent breakup and getting glances by people didn't stop Theron from kissing her. Faye felt like they were in their own universe.

When they both approached the front desk, Faye started to bite her lip and rock back and forth on her feet. Just imagining sleeping in the same bed with Theron made her blush and nervous. It would be a little awkward at first, but once they're settled in, Faye knew they would be comfortable enough to make them look like a married couple. Her cheeks grew red at thought of Theron holding her in his arms while they slept peacefully.

All the nervous tension she was trying to hide probably didn't get hidden at all, since Theron approached her about the situation. Faye stopped rocking her body and gave Theron a comforting smile. "Well...to tell you the truth I am a bit nervous. But it's nothing personal, it's just that I've never slept in the same bed as someone before." Faye was all about honesty, and wanted their relationship to be as open as possible. "But I want to have a good time here, for the both of us. So sharing a room is fine by me." She placed her hands on his left shoulder, boosting herself up to place a quick kiss on his cheek. "I'm fine with it, really." She giggled and blushed a bit, hugging his arm tightly.

She got up, but before she could utter another word, Roland had taken her hand and kissed it. While normally this would not have fazed Aswan this much (her friend used to do it all the time), the fact that this rather attractive boy had kissed her hand confused her. What? Why? She would have to try and figure out why. Her voice, clearer and sharper than she had intended, rang out. "Thank y-you." Where had that stutter come from? Aswan's mouth twitched into a frown at herself. Eventually she recovered from his greeting and, although a little confused, made her way over to Nova. Once again, Roland spoke to her. Another boy had joined them, and now they had even teams. Being asked the question of if she'd join Roland, she nodded matter-of-factly, adding an "Of course."

She felt something before she even saw him. She was busy focusing on Roland and the girl, watching as he tried to be charming. But the feeling was weak at first, a subtle tingle she felt. Her head instinctively turned and her eyes rested on a boy with sunglasses. He seemed to be approaching her.

Now, Nova was not looking for love on the cruise anymore. She was so worn down by her feelings and thoughts on Roland and so confused about the morality of their situation that she just wanted to have some fun.

The he fact that the boy did indeed approach her made her happy. Her invitation to others had worked! "Sure!" she said. Her gaze fell on Roland and the girl, whose hand he was kissing. His classic move. The same as he did to her. Wow, she thought, that made them seem like a couple, and that was definitely not what they were. Still, she felt a bit excluded when he did that, even for a race who were slightly more intimate.

The sadness flashed through her eyes momentarily, and she did not know why. She had no attachment to him whatsoever. Turning back to address the boy, whose name was Will, she said, "I a- I'm Nova. I- think you should be on my team for now." She figured Roland would not mind being on the girl's team at all.

Realising she she was still holding the ball, Nova waited for the other team to slip into the water before saying, "Let's play!" Before throwing the ball into the air and tapping it high over the net, where it would land between the two players.

"Ahh this is the life" Stefan said as he lay sun bathing on a wooden recliner chair near the pool near the center of the deck. He had come on the cruise to relax and let loose a little, he had a crush on one girl he wanted to see there but he thought that he would try to meet new people, perhaps to see if anyone else acually liked him. He doubted this and was more focused on just sitting back and relax. It seemed as if all the stress that he had melted away in the warm sun, no school, no one picking on him, and no people talking about sex, drugs, or violence. It was just him and his big book of comics in the nice warmth of the sun.

He was wearing a black bathing suit with streaks of fire all over it and had some cool shades on and was sweating a tiny bit because he had be out in the sun for a while. He acually looked pretty good for once and he smiled with his sharp teeth in the sun as he read his comics, he would be reading something else like a novel but this was Stefan and he found those quite boring at times.

So there he sat reading maybe he would see one of his pals there or maybe he would meet someone new. Either way he didn't care as he was having a great time so far in his recliner.

Aswan did a dive into the water and, once she could see again, looked across the net at her adversaries. They seemed to be happy enough. Her hand tingled with a weird sensation - the typical sensation to being touched by something living. Or in this case, being kissed by them. She was rather miffed about that. Not to mention confused. He looked, by all standards, human....? Ah. That was not the point. The girl noticed the other's expression. Troubled. She wondered why. Even distant? Sad, maybe? She never had been any good at reading faces. Speaking of faces... she should probably introduce her own to the others.
Walking up to the net, she gave a quick little nod to both players there. "Good luck," she announced in a businesslike tone. "By the way. I'm Aswan Gomari, student at the Academy." With that, she glided back to her spot beside Roland and tried to remember what exactly the sport of volleyball entailed, especially in the water,

Will grinned happily, "thank you," he was adjusting to not being a prince anymore, pushing through the awkwardness, "let's have some fun."

He moved to his place beside Nova, happy to finally be enjoying himself, "I just got to the island, was a bit worried about coming on the cruise." He smiled gratefully at Nova, "happy to meet someone friendly."

Roland smiled happily and took his place in front of the net motioning Aswan to join him, "the water is excellent and we have friends to enjoy it with."

Slapping his hand upward he sent the ball up and then tapped it over the net. He grinned at Aswan, "I've never played this before but it's very enjoyable."

Theron grinned happily, "thank you Fae," he kissed her again and then signed them up for the shared room.

"We better drop our things off," they headed toward the rooms, opening the door the let her in. "It's a nice room," he set their bags in the corner. "What do you want to do first?" he asked wrapping his arms around her and kissing her, "we can head down to the pool, swim a bit. Or see what else there is."
