Plot Party

So you've decided to go to the party? Well, come on in and see if you like it! Right now there's a few people here, but nI'm sure there will be more guests very soon.

If you have any questions about any of the partygoers, feel free to ask me, the host, whatever you like. You can ask your questions and tell me any ideas below in the comments, or you may whisper it to me over PM if you prefer.

All are welcomed to the party, and I'm sure all of the partygoers would be happy to get to know you. Have fun!

Notes, Warnings and Preferences:

• I am flexible with the length of my own posts, although they are generally between 200 and 400 words long. This shouldn't be an issue, I'm happy to write more or less depending on the situation.
• I do not do NSFW. I'm underage and don't feel like there is a necessity for any of my characters to have these threads anyway.
• I try to post at a steady rate of once every day for threads, but this fluctuates. On weekdays, expect one every one or two days, weekends probably one or two a day and holidays are the same. I also try and post to group threads before one on one threads so the group isn't kept waiting. Muse is also a big factor in the length and quality of my posts.
• The rp site I was on before this was an rp requiring very little consent, meaning I'm often a bit unpredictable in threads. I'm learning to limit this, but for now if there is anything you think is too sudden, please just let me know and I can edit it out. This never goes as far as forced injury or anything, but yeah, just let me know.

• A BFF: You know, one person her age or one year above/below her who she can confide in, be crazy with, maybe eventually become roommates with, etc. Anything goes, but the absolute ideal person for Erin is someone who knows how to have fun, and knows how to laugh.​

Useless Facts: She likes being active, struggles with modern English abbreviations, is afraid of fire, is very cautious of magic.

Plot I am most interested in at the moment (can and will change in future):

• A roommate: Or a few, it does not matter. Point is, I want Nova to have a relationship, good bad or ugly, with her roommate(s). Gender doesn't matter, nor does powers or personality. Should be high school-aged.

Other plots she can participate in:

• Friends, any friends, all the friends, yay for friends!
• Aliens for her to be very careful towards
• An adult to look out for her
• Someone to dislike her
• Any kind of activity, especially if it is a physically active one.

Basic Facts: She's 19, a first-year college student, a Valkyrie, the daughter of Profesor Zera Mortii, is a very competitive person, is the leader of Mortii's Valkyries, pre-med major.

Useless Facts: She loves winning, hates people without backbones, is afraid of absolutely nothing (she thinks), secretly wishes she could fall in love.

Plot I am most interested in at the moment (can and will change in future):

A friend/competitor: Freyja's best friends double as her greatest competition, so powerful people should definitely consider it. She will not really respect you until you prove yourself. Unless of course you prove yourself in a completely "respect me, respect me!" kind of way. Also, trust doesn't come easily. It's actually quite probable that her enemies, in time, become her friends.

Other plots she can participate in:

• Enemies because she is strong-minded and way too competitive. Especially evilly-aligned people.
• Anyone who wants to give romance a shot, whether it be very casual or someone who thinks they came a chance at love
• Family stuff! By family, I mean members of the Mortii Household
• Anyone who wants to suck up to her/ is too passive to become a good friend

Basic Facts: She's 45, a police officer, a Demon, has a husband and a child, likes to be in charge, escaped from Hell, is generally a hardworking person.

Useless Facts: She likes spending time working or relaxing, hates wrongdoers, is afraid of losing her job, secretly wishes her daughter would go and live in a dorm.

Plot I am most interested in at the moment (can and will change in future):

A friend: Could be somebody at the station who she can talk to, work on cases with, and/or use to become more involved in things and get herself promoted. Any other, out of work friends, perhaps mothers, would be great too.

Other plots she can participate in:

• Working on a case at MCPD
• Making a family friend, inviting them to a dinner party or something of the sort
• Someone to share her street with
• Making an enemy, perhaps a criminal or fellow cop
• Being a role model/mentor for a Demon child or someone wanting to join the police

Useless Facts: He likes to read, hates overly cramped spaces, is afraid of heights, secretly wishes he had a better job.

Plot I am most interested in at the moment (can and will change in future):

A friend: An adult who is a quieter type, maybe an old-ish character, a parent or someone who takes an interest in science and reading. Anyone who wouldn't pester him to meet up but would drag him out of the house every so often.

Other plots he can participate in:

• Patients at his Chiropractic clinic
• Coworkers or apprentices at MC Chiropractic
• A family to befriend as a whole
• Someone to share the street wit
• Anyone who needs a particularly experienced role model

@Griffin It's no issue, the ages are basically guidelines and I'd love to see how the relationship goes, especially because some aspects of them are really quite different. We can start developing their relationship to be in the thread we've already started.

@Saberteck I think Alex would be cool to get to know just as a friend (at least for now.) We can start up a thread whenever you like, but do you have any preferences for where they meet?

I will update the plotter now to include these two budding relationships.

Gave the plotter a change around so it can actually be read. Finally all the characters are present. Happy plot partying!

These are all such good ideas! But I really want to start with Deana and Eek because- cute!

Eek: Deana loves kids, despite her otherwise seriousness, and she would be just delighted to be someone he looks up to, especially considering he likes the police. Also, the fact that he was abandoned by his mother would make her feel the need to care for him- after all, he's four years old. If she takes a liking to him, she might even care for him as if he was her son. The only question I have is where would they meet? Deana would spend most of her time around the station or in the residential area, although she would make regular trips into the city area, while working or otherwise. Would Eek be near any of these areas, or would he be more likely to stay near the school?

Peregrine: Dot and Nova would probably be quite good friends, and she also probably needs some more. Nova would definitely drop by the park every once in a while on a weekend, so that shouldn't be a problem. Nova is also fascinated by the creatures she meets, so I think a friendship will happen very quickly. And she is in need of a female friend.

Aaron: Between Nova and Erin, I think he and Erin would be the better choice for a thread based on their similarities alone. And Erin, being an only child, probably wishes she had a sibling. Being very oblivious to her demonic culture, she wouldn't really be able to say much about her being a Demon anyway.

Fatima: Not sure about this at the moment, I like the idea but don't think there would be much to the thread, Erin being quite shy and unwilling to approach an older, cooler girl even if she was addressed. I'm not even sure if she would want to power drain, because despite the hunger she'd be a bit nervous.

These are just my preferences, of course, but let me know what you're interested in. I'm open for threads at the moment!
