He smiled and nodded, "yup, got everything I need." He grinned a bit when asked how it was going to work, "I'm going to carry you."

He stepped a bit closer, allowing her to have a closer look at his wings, "I can take us straight to the ship, no problem." While there were stronger beings, Soren was strong and could carry her easily, "we can land right on the deck."

Adjusting his bag again, he gently took her hand, "there's nothing to worry about but, I'll understand if you don't want to."

Nova

Nova did not wish to talk about powers. The subject of Roland's magic was still very tender and had she realised the discussion would centre around powers, she would not have shown her face. Instead, she decided to focus on the positives: all of the many facilities around the ship.

Looking back to see Roland following her to a slide, Nova ascended the short ladder to where the slide began. Clutching the sides of the slide, she lifted her legs over and onto the slope itself and sat down. She knew the obvious way to ride a slide, they had made them all the time on her planet. Pushing herself off at the start, she slid down the slide, which threw her into the pool with a splash. She landed upright, her kneed tucked into her chest.

From her point underwater, she looked up. The music that had been playing was now muffled, the colours were blurred on the surface and she could not hear any talking. Realising she had someone waiting for her to surface, her head with dry hair hit the surface of the water and she smiled instantly. "Your turn!" she yelled, swimming a stroke back so he would not land on her.

This was what she wanted to do all cruise. She had no interest in his stupid magic.

Roland smiled as she went down the side, chuckling quietly to himself. He was enjoying himself, it was the first time in a long time.

He climbed the latter and quickly went down it with a splash. He stayed under the water for a few seconds before surfacing again. He grinned at her, "thank you Nova," he said, grateful to have a friend.

In truth he thought it was wrong if her to accuse him of being irresponsible with his magic when she knows nothing of it. He had grown up with it, and had the hirrors it can cause.

Nova

With the two of them in deep water now, Nova eyed the volleyball net. She had no idea what it was there for, or what it did, but she was interested. Pointing at it, she asked, "Do you want to try this out?"

The edge of the net on the side of the pool was next to a spherical ball. Nova assumed that was something to do with the net, swam over and picked it up. It floated on the water and was very light. Maybe it was supposed to be thrown at the net?

It was worth a shot. She took it in her hands and, on the opposite side of the net to Roland, threw the ball at the net lightly. The ball simply fell to the water. Still trying to work out the game, she pushed the ball along the water at the net, before throwing the ball underneath the net.

A voice sounded from the pool deck's recliner area. "You throw the ball over the net, for goodness sakes!" They yelled loudly, clearly tired of watching her fail at volleyball. Looking back at them, Nova yelled, "Thankyou!" and threw the ball over the top of the net with two hands so it was projected to land directly in front of Roland.

"So, game time!" She said excitedly.

She was having a good time, even though she was still angry at him. She pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind as she prepared herself for the new game. There could be better people to be spending the cruise with, but she was going to make the most of whatever she got.

"Yes, I was hoping to try the games native her," he looked at the ball abd net uncertain of how it worked. Luckily some locals corrected Nova's attempt.

He joined in the game, knocking the ball back in turn with her. Avalon didn't have such a game, but he was enjoying it. "This is fun," he said smiling and using the word fun as it seemed common here.

Theron stepped onto the ship, both of their luggage over his left shoulder, his right hand holding Faye's, "looks nice." He grinned and kissed her, "they have all kinds of rooms."

Soren took her hand with a grin. She stood for a moment, mouth slightly open before shaking her head at him. "If you drop me, I will kill you." Elizabeth wasn't sure he was strong enough to carry her by just holding her hand. A moment she added "as long as I survive the fall". Then she started to calculate in her head the highest he could fly above the ground or water with her still being able to survive if he dropped her. She spent half a minute or so muttering calculations under her breath before she realised she was still stood in the same place, holding Soren's hand. She looked up with a slightly embarrassed smile, "sorry, I cant help myself sometimes. I find that real life calculations have a certain beauty to figuring out" Elizabeth looked at him for a moment longer and then added "let's go?"

Today marked the first day of Faye and Theron's adventure on the S.S Loveboat. Faye had never been on a cruise before, but was more than excited to be attending. She held Theron's hand feeling nervous, but at the same time grateful. Many other people and couples surrounded them, which made Faye feel a bit anxious. But holding Theron's hand and staying by his side relaxed Faye immensely.

Faye nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, it's so beautifully decorated!" The name S.S Loveboat wasn't just for show. The ship was covered in Valentine's Day themed decor and had many various rooms and activities for couples.

Faye kissed back Theron in surprise, but quickly relaxed into it, trying not to smile while kissing. Her heart fluttered in delight as she squeezed his hand tighter. It felt nice to be with someone who cared for you as much as you cared for them. Faye knew she chose the right person to go on this love cruise with; the person to be her very special someone.

She smiled brightly at Theron, and glanced over at the front desk. "Speaking of rooms, shall we check in and place our stuff in our room?" Checking into a couple's room made Faye feel...a little uncomfortable. It would be the first time Faye would be sleeping in the same bed as someone. But Faye was willing to try out new things, and wanted to come out of her personal bubble for awhile. Besides, she trusted Theron fully, and knew he was calm about the whole situation. So she as well, wanted to be calm and positive. "And then after that, we can go do something fun!"

The smooth clicking of plastic wheels on the boards of the cruise ship calmed the ghostly girl as she looked around at the scene unfolding in front of her, contemplating the surprisingly - or maybe unsurprisingly - crowded deck. People moved easily back and forth, couples and families alike, people in general enjoying the scenery. It was, to all appearances, as though Aswan was one of the people enjoying it as well. Except she had gone on this cruise ship to actually have an excuse to get out of her room - she'd read recently that too much studying and sitting could kill you. Which, of course, meant nothing to her - being a ghost, and therefore technically immortal - but still. She figured it was bad for her health.
That was aside from the point.
After quickly getting her room booked, her stuff put away, and her news checked, she sat on the bed, contemplating what to do first. There was board games - she could easily do that. Or maybe - there was a movie-viewing room. No, wait. She had come here to at least get out a bit. With a sigh she decided. Pool it was. Changing into a dark-brown bathing suit (which she deemed too revealing, covering it with a t-shirt), she made her way up to the pool and slipped in quietly.
This was actually kind of nice...

Nova
"Yeah, so fun!" she said, copying Roland's technique of tapping the ball over the net rather than throwing it. She was telling the truth, she was having fun, but something divided the two of them, and it was more than just the volleyball net.

She struggled to stop herself from replaying the argument in her head. She knew she wanted to focus on having fun, but she was unsure whether she could bring herself to do that with Roland. She was sure going to try anyway.

The two of them had a rally going, both of them tapping the ball high over the net so it fell over the other's waiting arms. Neither really mixed up the returns unless it was necessary to keep the ball high in the air, but eventually Nova sent a throw spiralling high above her but not gaining any distance. The ball quickly landed back on her side of the net, splattering her face with water. Smiling, she said,

"Well, that means you win that round. Play again?" She held the ball allowing it to keep her afloat, and glanced around her. Many more people, mostly couples, had come to join them on the pool deck. They were joined in the pool by several other people, and she thought it only fair that the two of them keep the net all to themselves.

"Does anyone else want to play at the net?" she asked, her voice raised enough so that others would hear her. After all, that could ease the tension between the two of them by playing a group game with a couple of others. She looked around to see the reactions of the people on the deck and in the pool.

Taking her arm he looped it around the back of his neck, he quickly made sure all their bags were secure abd picked her up bridle style, "don't worry I got you." He grinned, "hold on," he brought his wings down and lifted them into the air.

They moved quickly, he made sure not to go to fast, he knew she needed to adjust. "There's nothing like it," he smiled at her, and held her close to give her a feeling of security. "We'll be there soon."

And before long the ship appeared, as well as a view of the sea, "beautiful," he said smiling at her. Them he glided down and gently landed on the deck. He smiled and gently set her down, "thank you for trusting me."

He smiled as she asked the others if they wanted to join. He looked out over the people his eyes landing on a girl around his age, she wore glasses, and stood at the edge of the pool.

Moving out of the water he smiled and bowed to her, he smiled calmly at her, "I'm Roland Knightkin, and we would be honoured if you joined us." He was kind and a gentleman, but he couldn't help but notice that the girl was attractive.

He smiled and nodded , "yea," he started to lead her toward the front desk. "I hear there's a lot to do here, a pool and everything," he smiled and stole anoth quick kiss as they reached the desk.

Once there he gently squeezed her hand, "are you ok with sharing a room?" he asked wanting to make sure. "I know it's strange sense we just started dating, but I'm ok with it if you are."
