Because of Faye's past, she has major trust issues. When you first meet her, she can come off as shy, nervous, and timid. At first, she may be seen as a sheepish weak person, but once you warm up to her, Faye is actually an amazing, fun friend. She is humble, generous, strong, bubbly, & kind-hearted. Faye will be there if you ever need assistance, and is always happy to come over and cheer you up.

♡POWERS/SPECIAL ABILITIES♡

SHAPE-SHIFTING
Faye's people always had the ability to shape-shift into any animal or creature, just by one thought. Faye's Father could shape-shift into sea creatures, while Faye's mother could shape-shift into any creature she wanted. But Faye's power is a little different: Her power depends on her mood and feelings. When she is feeling a certain way, Faye is limited to a choice of creatures she can change into:

happy, joyful, pleased: dog, hummingbird, turtle, narwal, otter, flamingo, fox, monkey, beluga whale, elephant, alicorn, seal, horse, bunny, giraffe, dolphin, mermaid, Quokka, panda, duck, fairy, swan, penguin.
angry, irritated, jealous: sun bear, lion, panther, hawk, dragon, blue whale, cheetah, bull shark, griffin, falcon, snake, crocodile, weasel, wolf, boar, hippo, hornet, rhino, bat, spider.
sad, disappointed, lonely: sloth, cat, mole, pig, owl, koala, skunk, walrus, chameleon, butterfly, worm.
embarrassed, nervous, anxious: hedgehog, sheep, mouse, doe, flying squirrel, armadillo, donkey, goat, llama, opossum, chicken, ostrich, parrot.

Of course, becoming a certain animal means that Faye can adapt that animals skills, characteristics, and niches. For example, when Faye turns into a chameleon, she can change colors to adapt to her surroundings, just like a chameleon.

The only creature she can morph into at any time is a human since she taught herself how to shape-shift into one herself. No one from her planet knows how to change into a human except for Faye.

strengths:
Shape-shifters can gain instincts and abilities of the animal they choose to shift into. Faye tries to use her power to the fullest. Whenever she needs to travel somewhere far, she can shift into an animal with powerful strength or shift into one that can fly. If she needs to hide or escape, she can turn into something small like a mouse or a butterfly.

Faye's favorite type of animals to shape-shift into are sea creatures(specifically narwals). Because of this, it makes it easier for Faye to change into them. The form of the animals lasts longer and she can quickly shift from human to otter, and back to human in seconds.

If one has seen or interacted with a certain animal or creature, it becomes easier to shape-shift into that creature.

weaknesses:
If Faye doesn't get enough sleep, it is more difficult for her to hold her forms. Or if she is knocked out unconscious, she will lose her form, and become her old form again.

All were-shifters have those animals that are hard to change into for them, mostly because of their characteristics. For example, a fishes gills or an owl's vision.

If Faye goes too deep into a creature's mindset and instincts, she may lose her own personality and identity, causing her to fully become that animal.

If a user has never seen or interacted with a certain animal or creature, it is harder to change into that creature.

♡HEALING♡
All were-shifters from Faye's planet have the ability to heal their own injuries. The wound will regenerate and return back to its natural state.

strengths:
No matter how bad the injury is, whether I'd be a small cut on the arm to a broken leg, it will heal itself. If a bone is broken, the bone would just pop right back to where it was before. If a cut is very deep, the tissues in the muscles will weave back together preventing further blood loss and injuries.

This ability can prevent a were-shifter from becoming sick and also prevents them from developing a disease. Which means Faye is prone to receiving cancer, a tumor, the cold etc.

Because of this ability, Faye now has less risks of dying. She has more chances of living when tragic events occur in her life, granting her to live a little longer than others.

weaknesses
How long regeneration takes depends on how bad the injury is. If one is shot in the heart, it will take a massive amount of time for it to heal. If it takes too long, the healing may not occur, risking the wound to worsen or death.

Even though Faye can't get cancer or a tumor, she can still get poisoned or cursed.

If injuries happen back to back, it may cause the user to become tired from all the regenerating that is being done. Their energy gets drained, which causes them to heal slower and become very hungry. If healing becomes too slow, They risk being knocked out unconscious or even starved to death.

♡PAST♡
You could say that Faye is an alien since she is not from earth and instead, was born an another planet with an unknown name. According to Faye, most people called it The Lost Planet since no one outside of it knew about it or traveled near it. Humanoid-like aliens populated The Lost Planet and referred to themselves as the Wonderers. Faye's father told her they were called that since the day their ancestors traveled around space, searching for new planets and species. They would often stumble upon discovers they never planned on finding, and got distracted by looking more deeply into them without thinking, hence the name Wonderers. When Faye was about four, her father told her a story about how their ancestors discovered a fairytale-like magic on a planet deep in space's darkness. They traveled to the core of the planet and came upon a beautiful lake under a humungous gave. Waterfalls were splashing into it, disappearing into the lake's aqua blue hue. Green and pink shrubbery covered the remaining areas of ground around the lake. Faye's ancestors noticed that the water from the lake was so clear and almost looked like it glowed. The Wonderers decided to drink it since they were thirsty from their traveling. They then found out that the water was enchanted, and granted them the power to shape-shift and heal themselves. They decided to stay on that planet and settle there with their families and friends, making it their home. Because of them, Wonderers like Faye can share the same powers and abilities.

Growing up, Faye was a bubbly, happy little kid. She would always smile at people or go up to them to say hi and have a small chat. The only time she would often feel lonely and slump was at home since she was an only child. She was known as the girl who made The Lost Planet shine. Many Wonderers knew who she was, even though she wasn't that high of class. Her Father was a fisherman and her mother was a stay at home mom. The Mankato's weren't that poor, but they weren't that rich either. Either way, Faye grew up happy.

It wasn't until Faye turned 10 when her powers started to come to play. It took her a very long time to master them, that she became behind in her school class. Her mother, Caroline, would try to help her at home, but would often get too frustrated and give up halfway through. So Faye would wait for her father to come back from work and would learn and bond with him instead.

Her father, Anton, would take her to the beach. Faye loved going there with her father. She loved how the water and the sky could meet and touch, and the stars would reflect on the ocean surface. She loved how the sand would bunch up around her toes and heals, and then wash away when she dipped her feet in the water. She loved how the fresh air and wind felt on her skin, and how the gentle night breeze would gracefully carry her home in her father's arms after their session was over. Faye loved the sea and loved how her father did too.

Faye and Anton share many similar characteristics. If you found them together, it would be impossible to split them up. Anton was a kind simple man. He was a man who any father and husband would strive to be. He treated everyone fairly with the same polite and kind-hearted manner. Everyone knew that Anton was a good man, especially Faye.

During Faye and her father's sessions at the beach, Anton would shape shift himself as a narwhal to show as a demonstration. Anton's power granted him the ability to form into any sea creature out there. Faye found this interesting since her mother could transform into any animal in the world, but her father was only limited to the sea. But Faye didn't really care, because she loved sea creatures, and loved narwals.

Eventually, it took Faye 2 long years to master her powers, and Anton couldn't be any more prouder. Even though Faye was finished learning, she still wanted to go bond with her father at the beach, and Anton agreed. Faye and Anton often would both turn into narwhals and swim happily in the ocean. Because of this, Faye's favorite creature to shape-shift into is a narwhal, and would always change into one when she was happy.

*contains mild violence and abusive content*
Faye loves humans and hates humans. She loves how they look and smile, it would make the skin on their faces wrinkle up a bit. She loves how they would fall in love, and that it didn't really matter if a girl liked a girl or a boy liked a boy, not like in her planet where only a boy and girl could love. She loves how humans can appreciate the little things in life, like a cute text message from your sister, or how the autumn breeze flew in the air, carrying red and yellow leaves with them. But, she also hates how humans would destroy their planet by throwing trash in rivers, or drive around in cars polluting the sky. She hates how humans would get revenge on other humans, specifically committing a horrible crime such as rape or murder. She hates how some humans respected other humans. They would bring hatred to other people's lives and ruin tight relationships that are now loose...

When Faye turned 15, her father and mother asked her what she wanted. Usually, the answer would be more clothes and art supplies. On her 14th birthday, she asked for a pet otter or a tattoo, but they turned them down. This time, Faye asked for something a little unusual. She asked if she could travel to the planet Earth and see what humans looked like up close.

When Faye and her father visited the sea when she was still 10, she would ask her father what was beyond the sea and sky, beyond their planet. Anton responded by saying that discovering what's beyond The Lost Planet is up to the Wonderers. He then mentions about humans and their planet, Earth. Faye became heavily interested in them asking questions back to back, and Anton would always provide Faye with the right answers. From that day, Faye had always wanted to see humans for herself.

Caroline became confused and then immediately disgusted with Faye's answer. She exclaimed that she will never ever get the chance to go to Earth and see humans. She then goes on to say that Faye was crazy for even thinking that, and that humans were odd and dangerous creatures of space. Caroline then tells Anton to explain to his daughter, and she walks away. Anton carefully said no to Faye and that she sadly couldn't do that, as the journey would be too dangerous. Faye's heart was broken, and she could no longer feel her toes. All that time she thought her father would say yes, but instead, he rejected her answer. Faye burst into tears and screamed something at him that she now can't remember. She then ran away to the ocean.

Faye then decided that if she can't see a human, she will become one. It took Faye about 10 and a half months for her to teach herself how to shape-shift into a human. She had a collection of Anton's many drawings of humans, so she got a pretty good idea of what they looked like. When she finally got the nerve to tell her family, things got bad.

Anton was surprised and speechless. He never knew that Faye had the ability to teach herself to change into a human just by references from his drawings. Caroline was furious and annoyed. She couldn't handle that her own daughter now knew how to shift into a horrible, ugly creature. Caroline then had about enough. She shape-shifted into a tiger and looked like she was ready to kill Faye right then and there. Anton and Faye were terrified and were forced to call the guards of The Lost Planet.

As a kid, Faye would always be lonely and sad at home. Sometimes it would be because she was an only child with no siblings to play with. But the real reason was because of her mother. Caroline has always suffered from major anger issues. It would usually take over her emotions, and Caroline would be forced to take it out on her daughter.

Many months passed, and Faye couldn't get over that incident(she still can't get over it today). Faye's mother did go to jail, but it didn't stop there. Many Wonderers felt disgusted about Faye's new form and said that she should have never done that. They mentioned horrible things about humans to Faye, and that their planet is not that well taken care of. She knew that humans were good creatures, but were also bad ones as well. Because of this, Faye grew anxiety and trust issues. She had a hard time expressing herself, and would often worry about hurting others or being disapproved by others. She would often stay alone at home and sleep all day. She would never smile or chat with people like she use to. She wasn't Faye.

Faye's father felt awful for her and wanted to somehow find a way to cheer her up. He then decided to suggest something to Faye. Anton tells Faye about this lovely place called Starlight Academy. A great community where gifted people and ordinary humans could bond and share a lovely world together. Faye could get an opportunity to become friends with humans her age and even other shape-shifters from around the universe, all in one place. Starlight academy would give her a chance to build great relationships again and boost her confidence for talking to others. She could get a chance to become herself again. Faye agreed and told her father she will not let him down. When Faye turned 17, she got accepted. She packed her things, gave her father one last hug, and said goodbye.
