Alexander entered the bar just after nine in the evening. He handed his knife to the porter in passing, his other hand pinching his nose. He looked around briefly before he headed straight to the bar. "Name's Alexander, I'm here regarding an ad for blood donors", he said, to whoever was on the opposite side. His left hand was still pinching his nose, but his facial expression was plain and natural. "I've got a lot of blood." He added.

Namjilyn Nergüi

With how desperate the hospital would have been in the aftermath of the tsunami, the thing that Nergüi was least expecting was for a donor to come marching up to her business. "Good evening," she said, with her eyebrows just barely raised in surprise. "I am Nergüi, the owner of the Ganerdene. If you would like to make a donation, I can have you set with the paperwork right away upstairs."

There was, conveniently, her usual doctor currently onsite as well. Apparently some of the apartment buildings in the area were old enough that a bit of flooding was enough to cause massive exodus for weeks.

Alex nodded in reply, and offered a handshake (he would grab the wrist, though, for a very old fashioned shake) before letting Nergüi show him the way. He seemed like silent type, yet strangely forward. He kept pinching his nose, however.

Namjilyn Nergüi

Nergüi looked at the offered hand. Why was it that everybody wanted to shake her hand these days? They were in Manta Carlos, of course, but she was still visibly Asian. Not to mention, the islands were surely closer to the East than the West.

They were separated by a tall bar, however. She wrapped a towel around her hand and wrist quickly before grasping his hand in a brief, loose hold. "For your health, you must understand," she said dryly as she broke away. Already he was being rude, as well. Nergüi supposed that it was about time somebody who did not totally suit her tastes walked in.

"If you will follow me, please," she said, leading the way up.

Alex did not understand the need for the towel, but he immediately accepted it with an 'oh, okay' attitude. He did not usually consider his own health in situations that were not directly violent in nature. As he followed Nergüi, he very briefly inspected he wings and shoulders-- He was still pretty new to everything supernatural and even though not much directly surprised him, he was still interested in learning new things, for example how the back of a four armed and large winged person looked. He expected an impressivle display of muscle.

Namjilyn Nergüi

On the second floor, Nergüi headed for the room across from the one that she normally commandeered for an office. She knocked once on the sliding door and waited several moments before entering.

Inside, a short, elderly lab-coat wearing gentleman with a flat nose was busy reorganizing his makeshift work station as they entered. He had been caught in the act of running some blood tests, it seemed, because there were little rows of test tubes lined up like soldiers along the table, all filled with the stuff. He looked at them with inquisitive black eyes.

"Another donor," Nergüi said to the nurse, with a nod of her head as the only introduction between the two. To Alex, she indicated to a cushion at the low table. "We will need you to fill out these forms," she told him, depositing the papers in front of him as she spoke. "The first is general details and contact information. The second pertains to your medical history. The third is the wavier."

Alex sat down as Nergüi gestured, and nodded as she explained. He looked at the man and nodded briefly before he started filling the papers, but looked carefully at the waiver before signing anything.

Alex supressed a witty comment and just smiled as he watched the needle. Moments later he said "You might want to get a few more bags to fill. Actually, if I hold this needle you could tap my other arm as well. I can literally keep this up all night." Alex had prepared himself for this by eating a lot that day, and he was rather confident in his healing abilities. "I'd imagine I might get thirsty after the first hour or two, though" he added.

Dishonor upon me, dishonor upon my house, dishonor upon my cow...

Namjilyn Nergüi

"Is that so?" Nergüi asked dryly. "Do your abilities allow for that?" The paperwork did not have a section for details concerning the donor's powers, partially because many people were obsessively secretive about such things and had a tendency to lie or omit information anyways. But it was also partially because it was a waste of paper - there were already entire theses dedicated solely to explaining a single person's powers. If she had to read through one of those every time somebody gave blood, she would have no time to run her business at all.

"If so, then we can indeed continue on, although I would have to serve you another waiver as well." Nergüi was very big on waivers and even bigger on paranoia. She had a nice hold on a niche but prosperous market and there had been attempts to topple her before. Most people in this sort of business might have regarded the law as something to dance around. Nergüi considered it a partner.
