Alex is Scandinavian, is just over six feet (185 cm) with a slim build, but his neck is notably muscular. His eyes are pale green and his hair is black. Some of his teeth are skewed. He normally wears jeans shorts and a T-shirt, and he prefers being barefooted but wears shoes in town. His hunting knife is strapped horizontally to the back of his belt, and he's got a belt pouch in which he keeps a few other essentials for a life in the wilderness.

Personality Description:
Alex is calm and curious in nature. He is practical and lives in the now. He is kind, but somewhat distant. He gets stressed in crowds, and will avoid larger gatherings or main streets when in town. He's the kind of guy who would repair his neighbour's fence without asking or expecting anything in return.

Abilities
Passive:
Human Beast
His sense of smell is superior to even dogs. He is strong, but not obscenely so. For example, he could probably topple a car, but he could never lift one. He can dash or sprint at high speed for short distances, enough to catch a fleeing hare or deer, and he can pull off some impressive jumps, but these feats usually result in painful crashes. Also, his body temperature is a few degrees higher than average, making him more resistant to cold.

Regeneration
Alex' werewolf heritage manifests in a body that is too strong for its own good, and it compensates through extraordinary regeneration. For example, his teeth will break if he bites too hard. Luckily, a tooth will grow back in about about a minute, but won't quite align unless carefully tended to. Simple bruises heal within seconds, moderate wounds within an hour or two and otherwise mortal damage within a day, depending on severity. His bones are sturdy but otherwise his body remains practically human. This power is only active while Alex is awake/conscious.

Weaknesses:
Magnetism cancels his regenerative powers. Place a fridge magnet on his body and the healing cuts off completely. Not back to human levels, it just stops.

In addition, Alex is red-green colour blind, and monitors and screens irritate his eyes terribly.

Biography:
He was born some time after the second world war. He lived with his human dad until he turned 16, and has been on his own since then. He's wandered long distances in the, feeding mainly on hares and occasional fruit, but taking every opportunity to eat "human food" when near civilization. He spent many years like this, and eventually lost track of time (he no longer knows how many years has gone by). He was always on the lookout for other werewolves, as he didn't know of any other supernatural beings. He eventually met one in Germany, and through him he learned of the Manta Carlos Islands and how to get there.

On Manta Carlos:
Alex first set foot on the island in 2016 and has since then spent most of his time in the woods. He's made a camp around an hour's walk west of the lake and his territory borders the mountain range stretching to the forbidden forest. He secretly sees himself as a sort of guardian of the woods. He patrols the northern side of the lake and the southwestern highlands frequently, and stops by the Academy or the outskirts of Manta Carlos City about once a month to check in on the happenings and report if he's found anything out of order.

Notable Possessions:
Alexander killed a two-tailed fox during his first few days, under the assumption that it was a normal fox. Realizing the oddity, he very carefully skinned it-- the hide, the skull and most of its bones are now very neatly cleaned and in Alex' possession. He had intended to sell it, but as he ventured to town, he learned that killing these foxes was, at the time, illegal. So he kept the goods to himself.
